I have been in the mix for a couple of months and they told me that all Haitian cases were expedited. After calling again earlier this week they took charge! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NOA2 16 days!	This morning I checked Case Status to see if they finally had my case in the system. I logged in and it showed Post Decision Activity. Our I129f was approved. I really feel so blessed. Keep the faith my friends. I pray everyone has such a smooth process. The crazy thing is.....Edouardo doesn't believe me. He lives in DR where they experience many power outages so he has no internet access. I hope he can check soon and know Im not playing a bad trick on him. I know he wants to believe me, but wants to see it with his own eyes. He never expected it to happen so fast. I have read where many couple have had to push back dates and cancelled wedding arrangements because of long processing times .I have 90 days to plan and get married afterwards. Atlanta is the second busiest airport after JFK . It is hugh and have many terminals . You have to take a skytrain to get around . They are many freindly customer service reps who will help you .After deplaning , you will be directed to the customs area .After that you will go to baggage claim and claim yr luggage then pass through security before meeting your POC. K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Older American WOmen	no i did not know as much about nigerian fraud ,I looked at ghana more as i figured interview would be where we married and he is from in ghana Seawash --I guess you and yr husband need to do your homework . Maybe thats why yr husband got an F . Your husband needs to show proof beyond reasonable doubt that the relationship is not fraudulent . The onus is on him to show proof . Nothing (comments ) is being directed at you (Being an older woman , over 50 yrs etc)as you claimed .Nigeria and Ghana are high fraud countries . NIGERIA is famous for SCAMS . Let the buyer beware . You can elect to live in Nigeria /Ghana and resolve the problem . Besides when and if he comes to the Usa --be prepared to hear the comments that you said that the CO allegedly made. Follow what St. Lukes requirements and Im sure you have all of them. You did not do that because you were accused mistakenly, but because you were guilty as charged. You are a thief. Yet you did not disclose this, wrongfully assuming the Feds are too stupid to find out within a comprehensive FBI background test. Tell you what: if I had been the I.O. I would have seen this as a deliberate misrepresentation and declared you a persona non grata for the rest of your natural life. If I were you, I would thank my god for sparing me deportation and keep my mouth shut for another 3 years. If I was the judge getting your complaint on my table, I would order you deported before going to the bathroom. You apparently have no idea how lucky you got. JUST BOB --where did u get your ''information '' about deportation from ? Stop sweating out the man . A person will not get deported for a misdemeanor . He is asking for advise not criticism . It does not matter if you are married to a US citizen if you do something wrong you can be deported. Inky --I am just adding my two cents here --a person can be deported if they commit a felony . What the guy did was a misdemeanor and cannot be deported for that . Felony like drugs , murder and possession of a weapon is instant deportation . Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	USC wife changed after i stopped financially pampering her.	This is kinda weird story, but I just got my gc the other day and now im stressing out big time because, from what I feel, my wife became a totally different person when she cant milk money from me anymore. We were good friends, had decent jobs. She used to live on SD while I live here in LA. We decided to get married feb 2011. Marriage was im good faith but I had no idea she wanted to marry me to be his personal bank. The whole petition preparation was done by me.no help from her. All throughout the process,shes like "i want this, that" "buy me this, that" and when she doesnt get it, she throws,temper tantrum. She didnt wanna move to LA unless I say yes to her conditions. Her/our own apartment, new cellphone, pay for her international trips, schooling(which her crazy mom has been feeding me to ask from me) and many more.i tried to give all possible stuff to her. Anyways I had the aparment last week of april, and she would hardly drive up unless I lure her with stuff. Its hard for me to drive down to sd coz again, I cant afford the gas weekly. So,everytime shes there, I stay at my parents house few blocks away.i knew my wife is,doin shady stuff. One time I saw guy's short in my house. Its not obviously mine coz its big. I came 2x and caught my wife chillin with 2 different guys.asked her who they where, she said friends. I know shes cheatin but bcause im scared she gets upset and stop the petition, I kept my mouth shut. Interview was 2 weeks ago and now have gc. Last night her crazy mom called me to remind me their demands, now IM STRESSED OUT coz im still financially struggling, and im the only one working (she moved here last august after quitting her job in sd). I didnt quite have a nice conversation with her mom coz theyre demanding more so,she drove back to sd.now she stopped,communicating with me and scared that may give up the petition and leave me hanging before the roc. My question is what people on this situation do? Will it harm me if I file divorce or whats gonna happen to me if she files divorce. Is my gc in jeopardy here? Now that you have your green card --run for your life . She will continue to milk you . Thanks her for petitioning for you and the grenn card abd get the hell out of there .
