Hi,

I'm confused about the PCC. The address on my Passport is of Lucknow (my hometown-mom and dad live there).

But for last 2 years I have been living in Ghaziabad in a rented apartment.

Where should i get my PCC from? Or do I need to get it from both places?

Hi JaiJessica,

It should mention in your instruction that any country you have lived more than 6 months. Sample is if Lucknow is country and Ghaziabad is another country, then you have to get both PCC for each provided that you have stayed there more than 6 months. But if its a province, town, or state in one country, you only need to get one PCC. Hope this shed some lights on you.

Hi,

I concur with #2 as he/she mentioned. Better call and discuss your situation and have it raised to supervisor.

US Embassy and Consulate Discussionmedical issue

hello everyone! my case is still inder AP. The email sent to my fiancee assking for "evidence of substantial income". During my interview the CO told me that I have to repeat medical, without any written request to do medical. I went to the medical clinic the next day after my interview. My dilemma is " I have a history of PTB and done with my medication, which I did in 2008. Since then I regularly visited my doctor every year for follow up but it remain inactive and even in my last medical in st. Lukes turn out negative. I tried to beg the doctors in st. lukes during my medical fir the 2nd time that if I dont need to go through the sputum culture since the result of my sputum of my first med just came out last Aug. 5 but they told me that its the Usembassy requirement to wait for another 2 months for the sputum culture. I felt so down because of it, my sputum smear result came out negative and now I have to go back to bantayan Island and wait for the sputum culture.
Is there anybody out there knows what should I do, if theres a way to appeal to the embassy regarding my medical. Its very difficult for me to travel with my son,I need to pulled him out in school.please I need your help. God bless!

Hi ana2013,

I know sometimes the roads we travel or walked never ends. As if you're getting near the end the longer the road winds. I had too a trouble in patience but as you mentioned God will help you. You can't do any shortcut for any CO' judgement. They're just doing what is right for their job even if it seems unfair to you. Try to do 1 step at a time. Do what is asked? If it involves time, try to gather patience and strength. Wait and by the time you know it, you're done.

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionDate of interview

Hi VJ Family!

My interview date was set 9 January at Bangkok Consulate.

Husband will be here and we want some advise and insights of how the interview would be.

Thank you and best regards!

Hi,

First of all, be just yourself. I know you'll get more nervous the closer the date comes. Mine, I got nervous on my interview date because I thought they're going to ask some difficult questions. But by the time when I'm with the CO, I got calmed. Usually they'll ask you the validity of your relation ship and how well you know your fiancee. Like mine, they'd ask me if my fiancee is living with me, did you already planned your wedding, are you bringing your father & mother at wedding and etc.. This are just simple questions that you can answer right away even your eyes are close (lol). Note most of the interviews are already pre-determined even before your interview date but not all. So if there no any red flag you'll be fine.

Regards.
