Philippines	questions on DS 156..	1. "when do you intend to arrive in the US?" - I'm filling it up online and it asks for a specific date WHEN. What if i still don't have the specific date? Is it possible to leave it blank or do i really need to put a tentative date? Do not leave any blank and you can put a tentative date Coz they've also asked me the same question in my medical,even if i still don't know when,they still asked me for the month so i said November to be sure. So do i need to match my answer in the DS 156 form? i don't think it would matter whether they are matched or not 2. Philippines	Interview Time	here is what i did. my schedule was 7am. we (my mom and i) arrived in USEM around 6. we eat breakfast first in chowking (just across the USEM) then we went to USEM by 6:30. may mga kainan nmn sa labas ng USEM eh. may yellow cab din. kung gusto mo magbreakfast, maaga ka na lang pumunta kung ayaw mo naman gumising ng sobrang aga , dun ka na lng sa loob ng USEM bumili ng food. may tinda silang mga biscuit at snacks Good Luck sa interview mo	o0pink0o	Female	Philippines	2008-09-14 01:19:00

Probably their international flight is great and has a good service so dont worry... Everything will be fine.... if this is your first time flying, bring bonamine, it will help you get sleep. Manila to Japan is 3-4 hours, Japan-USA is a very long long trip.. try get some rest as much as possible.. Dont bring a lot of hand carry, just bring 1 shirt, your girly stuff, then just put everything in your check in baggage.. Where are you heading by the way? On longer flights you will likely get two meals, a small meal/snack somewhere in the middle too, and drinks on a fairly regular basis. You usually get a choice between beef or chicken, though JAL was fish or (I forget, beef, chicken or maybe pork), the small meal I had was a ramen noodle cup of soup type thing, I think those were on united flights, you might get hungry but you probably won't be so hungry you have to eat at your various layovers. I guess it depends on how well your appetite handles airplanes and airplane food though, also, the major airports which is probably all you'll see, have lots of restaurants in them so if you find yourself hungry on a long layover, there are options. thank you so much for sharing your experience. i really appreciate it alot! it gave me ideas on what to expect from them.God bless you! At first, like the others, i was also wondering if they are discouraging people to go to foreign countries but then i realized that they just want us to see the reality of life.
