Agree good.gif then while you are waiting for the NVC , gather all the docus that you need for the interview like MC (NSO copy), BC (NSO copy), NBI and other evidences that proves your genuine relationship with your SO.

You are fine as long as you arrive at your POE before the Visa expires. Don't cut it too close, though, in case your flight is cancelled, or something else comes up. Good luck!

I know that K3 and CR1 has different immigration processing but what you are asking is about medical in SLEC and I believe that no matter what, SLEC has the same procedure in accepting applicants whether he/she is on K3, CR1 or whatever visa they are applying for.

But anyways, i hope you hear answers from CR1 applicants caz that is what you want smile.gif Good Luck!

One of the reason why I survived in waiting on my NOA2 and visa is reading approvals from the people here. Reading those kind of threads gave me hope that sooner or later my time will come. If I read someone's approval that has almost the same timeline as me, it made me think of "i hope i'll be next". So, i don't think that there is no reason for people on not to post on how happy they are or they were when they got approved. I never felt envy or jealous to them instead i was very happy for them.

Do they look inside the package?
yes, they check every item that you'll send and they will give you a paper where to write all the items that you'll send. But i don't really write ALL the items, I only write 2 or 3 items.

Do they play whatever is sent?
No. But it is easy to differentiate the pirated from orig by just looking at the cd/dvd so they don't have to play it.

Since you already have the case number and you said that your papers from NVC are already sent in USEM last March 10, then, what you need to do next is to call USEM and verify if they already have your papers. And don't forget to ask them if when can you can get interview schedule.

Don't mind the letter from NVC as sometimes they send them late. What matters now is that you have your MNL Case Num and they already forwarded your papers to USEM.

Can medical examination at St. Luke’s Extension Clinic be done before scheduling Manila Embassy Interview?
Yes, that is possible. I met a girl in SLEC during my medical and she said that she doesn't have interview schedule yet. From then on, we kept in touch with each other even after our medical. She passed her interview and she is now here in the US. Yes it is possible for you to have your medical done eventhough you don't have interview sched yet but I don't recommend that. What if your medical expired because it takes you awhile to get an interview sched? Well, that is just my opinion smile.gif

Yes, it can be done a month before your interview. Actually it is much better if you'll do that so incase that there is a problem that will arise (knock on wood) in your medical, then, there is still time to fix the prob.

Other then passport and passport picture and payment...what else does the SLEC requires?
1. passport
2. pic
3. payment
4. letter from USEM or print out copy of your interview sched ( if you don't have interview sched yet then copy of NOA2 will do)
5. pen
