Philippinesquestion k1
r we going to include money transfer/ remitances in documents for k1? ?
yes

how many copies do we need for i-134?
one copy is all you need to send and it should be notarized. Be sure to photocopy it before you send it so you have one copy for yourself (just my advice).

Does anyone know the CFO address at St. Mary's?

Do I need to ammend my passport, which I got 2 years ago, using my maiden name? Is it needed? If yes, what should I do? Please advise me about this. Thanks a lot!

Ride the LRT until you reach Katipunan station. It's a few houses away... very very near the LRT station.

You cannot change your passport to your married name anyway if you don't have this (applicable to filipinos with foreigner husband/wife).
Bring your current passport, photocopy at least 4 copies (mahal photocopy dun), Valid ID 4 photocopy, and your NSO marriage certificate bring 4 photocopies. I think they'll need 2 or 3copies, but better to have extras. The fee is Php650. If you are 18-21 bring parental consent (notarized); If you are 21-25 bring parental advice (notarized). Bring snacks, depends on your luck but I went there around 7am and got out around 3pm... the lady who gave the seminar and interview was really slow.

Do not forget to ask your husband about his mother's maiden name. They wouldn't issue the certificate without it.
Also, they need a Landline of your hubby or his nearest relative, they won't accept mobile phone. Same to you, you have to have a landline in the Philippines.. can be landline of friends or relatives or your neighbor.

Good luck!

You also need to have CFO Seminar certificate (which you can get at SMEF) in renewing you maiden named passport into married name. Photocopy that certificate and send it together with NSO BC, NSO MC, Maiden named Passport, 4 pcs. visa passport size pics and ID.

Correct me if I am wrong but I think that if you attend in PRISM, they'll give you yellow cert. and if you attend in SMEF then they'll give you blue cert and the green cert that they attached in our passport is the one that came from CFO.

I am all alone here for 4 days since my husband travelled. But I get busy working in the house, fixing things and do carpentry( Thanks to my dad I learned it when I was young).

I'm getting too excited to meet few more filipinos tomorrow. Mostly they are in thier 30's-50's. I don't feel homesick .Being active in VJ site helps a lot. I found good friends in here . No exact words to express how thankful I am as one of the members of this site.
