I can say that it really depends on what type of hair do you have. Iba iba ang reaction ng buhok on every treatment kesyo sa mamahalin ka pumuntang parlor or hindi. The hair stylist told my friend that her hair treatment would only last for 3- 5 months because hers is wavey while on the other hand the stylist told me that mine would still be good 9 - 12 months.

I agree with you Pinky,as i had my hair rebonded 2003 pa,and it's still straight untill now kasi nga dati na syang straight pero nasira nga lang sa kaka dryer:Pkaya napilitan din akong magparebond....nataon nga lang na expert ang nagrebond kaya hindi sya nag dry ulit..Paalala lang na wavey at dry ay magkaiba!

i recommend LOREAL SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER.very nice

PhilippinesDetoxing hair..
Lilipas at lilipas din naman talaga MOST of the hair treatment eh kasi tutubo at tutubo din ang natural hair.

Before I get here in the US, i had my hair rebonded sa Index salon lang. I spent 2k for it and it took 8 hours for my hair to be rebonded. I actually have fallen asleep in the parlor waiting on it to be done lol! My hair is straight already even before I had it rebonded . Nacurious lang ako kung ano feeling ng hair rebonding lol! I never had major hair treatment kaya i just tried it. That branch of Index salon was recommended by my bestfriend and I saw the result on her hair and it was pretty naman kaya I tried it. I can say that the result on my hair is nice too. I had it done Sept 2008 and pang 7th month na ngayon pero maayos pa rin naman yung hair ko. Another friend of mine asked on where I had it done. She went to that branch and we had the same hair stylist but she told me that the result of hers wasn't good so she went to another salon to fix her hair.

thanks for the tips good.gif actually my hair is super straight too and it takes hours to curl my hair caz its super straight lol! people thinks that i have a secret on why i have straight hair like this but the truth is i don't even comb my hair if i'm at home lol! i only brush my hair if i'll go out of our house hehe. i just go to hair salon every other month to have my hair trimmed and that makes my hair healthier. good.gif

Hi! It's been a while since the last time I checked this website.

I got pregnant last year and gave birth to a wonderful baby girl February 17th of this year.

This would be a very nice topic for everybody to discuss how to take good care of new babies. I am a new mommy and have a lot of questions in mind.

1.) Do you think it's necessary to vaccinate baby? Why/Why not?

2.) When to start introducing cereal to your baby?

3.) My baby does not like powdered milk, she wants the ready-to-feed formulas. Any idea how to make her get used to powdered formula?

I'll post more questions later. Thanks for some ideas.

Hi everyone I want to know if how much is the medical fee?Thank you very much and God Bless us..

I believe that it cost USD213.35. You need to pay it on the day of your medical at SLEC and it is payable in its peso equivalent and not in USD. Good Luck on your medical star_smile.gif

PhilippinesWhat exactly happens on NOA2?
I will receive snail mail confirmation from the service center, ( do they also send an email update at the time they send , if you are registered on the USCIS site to recieve email notifications? )
yes, they will also send you an email.

I looked on the acronyms page and cant find USEM , I am assuming you are talking about the US embassy in manilla, ( also .. do they send it snail mail to the US embassy in manilla.. i know snail mail is 3 weeks to manilla) .
Yes, your assumption is right biggrin.gif when I said USEM, I was pertaining to US Embassy Manila. NVC will send your papers to USEM via snail mail. You really can't tell on how many days will the NVC will forward you papers to USEM or when will your papers will arrive at the USEM from NVC. Some papers get stuck at the NVC for a week, sometimes 2 weeks or worse is 3 weeks or more. In my case, our papers got stuck at the NVC for a week. After NVC released our papers, USEM got our papers from the NVC after a week.

You mentioned that not all beneficiary recieves the letter ..so when I receive the letter ..It is good that I should make the call to schedule an interview?
Actually, most of the time, the letter from the USEM is delayed. It takes them weeeeks to send the letter for some reason. In my case, I got the letter a day after I got interview sched wacko.gif so don't wait to that letter anymore if you want an earlier interview sched. Just call the USEM number and ask them if you can already get a sched. If they say yes you can already then go and call the call center. I don't think it really matters whether the beneficiary or the petitioner is the one who will make the interview appointment smile.gif I think what only matters is the cost of money you will spend in calling the call center. If the beneficiary is the one who will call then you'll spend peso, if its the petitioner then it will be in $$ hehe.

The info I gave you is just based on my experience and what I know. Good Luck and I hope for a bump free visa processing smile.gif

PhilippinesWhat exactly happens on NOA2?
>> NOA2 means your application got approved. the petitioner will receive snail mail confirmation (NOA2) from the Service Center
>> Service Center will forward you case to NVC
>> after NVC approves the case then NVC will forward your case to USEM (NVC will send snail mail to the petitioner stating the MNL Case number and when was your papers forwarded to the USEM)
>> when USEM got your papers from NVC then USEM will send a snail mail to the beneficiary informing that the beneficiary can already make an interview appointment (not all beneficiary receives this kind of letter, so better call the USEM to confirm if you are legible to get a sched already)
>> then the beneficiary or petitioner should call the Call Center to get an interview sched
>> while waiting on your interview date, the beneficiary can go to SLEC to have her/his medical (the medical should be done first before the interview date).

Good Luck and hope this reply helps star_smile.gif

PhilippinesPLS Tulong mga kababayan!..
I understand if you don't want to share this in english. But you know, based on what you said, I remembered all the CFO lectures. Have you attended CFO na ba?

If I were you eh hindi na ako sasama sa kanya.

Philippinesmanila interview
The visa will be delivered to her address and they won't give it to your wife on the day of her interview. Your wife will pay visa delivery fee at AIR21 (located inside the USEM) on the day of her interview. If she gets pink slip then it usually takes 4 to 10 days (it depends on where she lives at) for her to receive her visa via AIR21.

Good Luck on her interview and hoping for pink slip! star_smile.gif

First of all I want to Congratulate you on having NOA2! kicking.gif This link might help you. No need to get an appointment for medical as it is in walk-in basis. The beneficiary needs to bring 3pcs. US visa pictures, passport, copy of NOA2 OR letter from the USEM, pen and medical fee. You don't need to pay Delbros as there is no document verification anymore since late last year BUT you have to pay AIR21 for visa delivery after the beneficiary passed the interview.

Good Luck! star_smile.gif

No need for Barangay Clearance no0pb.gif NBI will only issue 1 clearance for her (which states her maiden name AND married name on it).
