We live in a suburb here in Indiana and I am liking it here. My hubby's parents, siblings, aunts & uncles and cousins just live few blocks away from our house so we are all close to each other and I often see his relatives which I like the most smile.gif We are close to grocery stores, schools, post office, churches, pharmacy and hospital so we don't have a hard time getting into the things that we need to do. All those places are just few blocks away from our house so they are very accessible. There are lots of kids here in our neighborhood which is another reason why I like it here. I have a pinay neighbor too which lives 4 houses away so I guess I am lucky hehe.

Yeah there is no milk for pregnant women here like Anmum that we have in PH. If you want, try Enfamil Expecta but I recommend to ask your doctor first before using this. It was already at the end of my 3rd trimester when I discovered it so I wasn't able to try it :(

If you want the fastest, easiest and reliable shipping company then try LBC. But I bet it would cost you bunch of money in sending those milk because of its heavy weight.

You won't be able to know that you need to undergo psychiatric evaluation til the 2nd day of your medical exam. On the second day, if the guard asked you to go to immunization room then that means you passed, if he asked you to go to "releasing area ata yun" then that means there is something wrong. I am just curious, did you ever notice the doctor attached white paper (after the physical exam) together with the SLEC medical papers that you where holding the whole day? kasi if yes, then most probably that is the referral letter.

No other paper attach at the paper im holding the whole day except for my "official receipt and a paper reminding me that personal appearance is required and bring my passport and what time i will be going back" -these are the papers the counter check out gave me when i went home.. My son undergo Tuberculin skin test so we will be going back on Thursday.Thanks for your input Pink.

My first meal here in the US is fast food lol! I came here late night so all the restos are closed already and Mcdo is the only open one biggrin.gif The next day, hubby brought me to a chinese buffet resto and I loved it there caz there is rice, lo mien (which look/taste like pansit in PH, but i still like pansit more) and some food that is similar with pinoy foods. I like mexican foods and italaian cuisine too good.gif

My in-laws will always ask me if i ever tasted this or that food, and if i haven't, they will cook/buy it for me biggrin.gif

Before I got here, I was afraid that I might not be able to eat rice everyday (like most of the Filipino do), but hubby brought me to Oriental Stores which I can buy bags of rice and buy filipino ingredients that i can cook when I get home. I don't eat rice everyday now like i used to because i sometimes like to eat american, mexican or italian cuisine which my in-laws introduced to me.
