Thanks for the compliment sa baby ko :luv: Nope, sinulat ko na yan sa bahay pa lang. Hindi mo naman sa consul ibibigay mismo yan eh. Meron doon na booth kung saan pipila tapos isa isang hihingin ang mga DS Forms. Be sure that you answered all the questions kasi kapag may blank ay paaalisin ka sa pila at pasaagutan sa'yo yung kulang na sagot then pipila ka ulit. Try this guide in answering DS 156.

I was only 23 years old when I got married. The parental consent that we submitted to the person who married us WASN'T notarized by lawyer and we didn't encountered any problem. If you are submitting this parental consent to CFO, they won't mind whether it is notarized or not. As long as it is clearly stated in your consent that your parents/guardian are aware and allowing you to get married and of course it is signed by them (parents/guardian) then you will be fine.

I don't know on where you will submit this parental consent because you didn't mentioned it. But wherever you will submit it, call/inquire to Municipal Hall/CFO if you wanna make sure about the notarization.

Air 21 delivered my visa more than an hour ago :) I want to thank everyone for the help and words of encouragement.

We will be together soon, after a very long journey. So happy :dance:

USEM told me to wait for 7-10 days for my visa to be delivered, but got it just 5 days after giving them the document they asked.

God is really good :)

I don't know this or not, but it looks like her passport is inside plastic along with a brown envelope. You have to leave that all alone right? I told her just to leave it be.. She wants to see her passport.. Can she remove the plastic or does that also open the envelope? :thumbs:


Congratulations!! :dance: She can open the plastic and take her passport. Her passport needs to be stamped by CFO before she leaves the country. Just tell her not to open the yellow/brown envelope and she will be fine.

I want to be able to send as much as I can to her.


Well, you didn't actually specified what you really are asking on your first post. I thought what you meant by Php5,000 is Php5,000 a month. If you are planning of sending her Php5,000 biweekly then I guess that is enough for her. But like what other says, it really depends on the lifestyle and where the person lives. If what you meant by "she is with a friend" is that she lives in an apartment with a friend who shares house rent then Php10,000 is really enough :)

In our household, 5000 pesos is enough to pay our phone and DSL bills and salary of our maid. For me, 5000 pesos is not alot of money but it can pay some of our bills.
