K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresHow many photos is enough ?
I think 6 -8 is the perfect number.Different locations and clothing. With you together with family and friends also helps but just the two of you will work fine if that's all you have. Make sure to send plenty to the interview.

I would provide all 15 pages of divorce decree. Better to be safe than sorry. Really depends on the state. My decree in California is very long and has signatures throughout that are necessary so I included the whole thing. My divorce decree from Nevada is 3 neat pages with signitures and stamp. This is my second time through this process. I sent Xerox copies and was approved with the USCIS. I sent the original certified copy to my finance and she was ask to show it. You just never know what they will want to see so be prepared.I sent out my petition this week and again submitted the whole Divorce Decree from California.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedureshelp about medical schedule..
You should be fine doing your medical on Nov 7. It will likely take two days to complete .If everything goes smooth with medical 8 days should be plenty of time for your results to arrive at embassy for interview . Even if for some reason the results dont arrive in time you can still have your interview. You would be technically approved pending medical results. The visa being issued would just be delayed until the embassy receives the medical results which isnt a big deal and would likely only be a few day delay at most issueing the visa.

Getting married in the USA is just a matter of getting marriage license and marrying .

If it was me I would make sure my forms were 100% before sending them so as to avoid a RFE. It could be fine but what if it's not? You know what I mean?

I feel the same way. I would not want white out on my forms.

Is it possible since they filled it out that you could fill it out using the information they provided , print it out and send to them for signatures. That way it will be easy ,you wont feel like your annoying them and it will be done the way you need it ?

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresAirline Ticket and Visa #
If your fiance is in Manila you can try St Raphael travel. They have a special K1 rate with Philippine Airlines. You can get quotes through yahoo messenger. Their screen names on on site. I have never used them but if I purchased i was suppose to Xoom the money to my fiance and she would go in person to buy ticket or they have a bank to bank option. They dont accept credit cards from USA. They do need your K1 Visa # to buy ad it is a special rate.

http://www.santraphael.com/home.php

To give you a idea I was quoted a flight on PAL for Dec 6 from Manila to San Francisco. Total price was $685 oneway all taxes included, including the 1620 pecos Philippine travel tax which is about $40. The cheapest I found anywhere else in the USA was $852 and that did not include the 1620 Pecos tax.

While its not advised to buy airfare until visa is in your hand it is not mandatory when buying your ticket in the USa or online. However some Philippine travel agents in the Phil have special deals with airlines for visa holders and will need visa before selling tickets. With that said I gambled and bought my fiances ticket before having visa in hand because her flight plans were 6 weeks after approval and I felt tge risk if not getting visa by then was low. I booked with cheapoair.com and already registered and got etickets directly off the airlines website. At no time was I ever asked for visa.

It sounds like the consulate is including your daughter so to be above the 125% poverty guideline you need to make $23,862. They will use line 22 on your tax return for income. Do you have a court order or divorce decree ordering child support? Im fairly sure your child needs to be listed as you would be responsible for support living with you or not.

DCF is where you file directly with the Consulate and never go through the USCIS. Im sorry I was in directly applying that you shoukd consider getting married in Belgium and filing CR1 with DCF if available.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures2 questions
Could they not have done direct consular filing? It looks like its available. Maybe Im wrong. I met a couple who had similar situation in the phil and did CR1 with DCF . They were able to meet the requirements for residency in Phil. They used their family in the USA and had there family write up a lease to prove they had a residence to stay in USA. Im sorry that im not familar with Belgium Consulate and maybe someone can verify if its possible as a option.
