Since it is so difficult to plan a wedding, giving the uncertainty of dates, my fiance and I are going to have our civil marriage at the courthouse as soon as he can enter the US, and then our actualy "wedding wedding" in 2012, so we can plan for it properly, book the venue we want, and give everyone enough notice to attend!



that's what we plan on doing too. I won't be rushed into planning my wedding.

So is that letter any different from the actual NOA2? Does my fiance need to send a copy of such a letter to me for my interview, or just the NOA2 copy as it states in the guides? :help:


sorry I missed this til now! it is a separate letter from your NOA2. it has your case number you'll need for the medical and embassy interview. I don't think you need to take an actual copy of it, but it probably wouldn't hurt. just having the number itself should suffice.

just got a letter from the NVC today saying they got my case, and should be forwarding it in about a week to london!

we have a case number! he can look into getting his medical over with! it really does go fast once you get that NOA2... *glee*

Hey everyone! Another July Filer!! I received my NOA1 on July 6 and I've been waiting since then!! I began another thread for prayer and warm thoughts for reuniting with our loved ones!!

Anyhow hoping and praying for the best!! I pray we'll all hear some good news by the end of this week and early next week!!


mine was july 6th too. coming up on the 2 month mark now. I keep saying, well - out of 5 months, 2 down!

sent it on December 23 w Priority mail but the guy didn't offer me to add the delivery confirmation and i didn't know that without it I would not be able to track priority mail!

I just checked the DHL web-site, it says the package shipped on August 20 to Moscow was delivered and signed for on August 24.
If this was it, then I dont understand why they say that it's not delivered yet :(

Hey Guys just an update:

The congressman's office called me this morning. She told me that she called Vermont again today and they told her that our file has now been assigned to an adjudicator.. :thumbs:

She also asked them why some people that received RFE's after ours were already adjudicated and we are still waiting. They said that doesn't happen, and if it does, it's very rare... (yeah, okay :whistle: ) I have about 15 instances of it happening around our case alone..

So that gives me a little hope that maybe NOA2 will come this week. Fingers, toes and all other appendages crossed! :P

Hey Tex, after i received a similar email from my congressman saying it was assigned to an adjudicator it took them around 5 days to actualy approve it, SO I have my hopes up for U, it's seriously ur time this week!!! :yes:

Had a crazy week and just quickly went through the thread actually hoping to see some good news for Texas... Hang in there girl, it'll happen sooner than you know!!!
Called NVC today, they received our case yest, will mail it out next week. So my fiancée is most prolly going to hear from the embassy by the end of it!
Speaking of her, we got in a huge fight a week ago and are still barely talking :(

Oh my god!!!! I was driving home and my phone chimed that I had a text. I was just going to ignore it, but I took a peek to see who it was from and it was those infamous digits that come at the top of a USCIC text.
I almost wrecked my car!!!! I got to the stop light, clicked on my mail, and there it was APPROVED!!!! I started bawling, Posted Image the car behind me was honking at me to go, Posted Image I forgot how to drive for a minute!!!! I have never felt happier in my life. I called Ray from my cell, and he knew as soon as he saw me calling because we never call, we text or skype....

we are in a spot of trouble. it seems like our NOA2 letter got sent to my fiancee's old address. She moved from the apartment, notified the post office about a change of address about 2 weeks now and changed the address on USCIS online July 30, now we are hearing that if the post office dont return the letter to uscis for them to send it to the new address, we are gonna be charged $400 just to get the NOA2 letter back. :(

You know I was able to put in a request for expedite, but I personally don't feel like it did anything for me. The way the approvals have been going, and getting notice at the same time as Sabi and Paul, it played out in the order it was always going to. That's just my personal opinion for my situation. I wouldn't do anything different and I would try everything I could because it helped me mentally to keep at it, so just hang in there. The only things that helped me was staying positive for my fiance, this thread and focusing on one day at a time.

Also, there are so many positive messages, I can't seem to keep up with them so thank you to everybody! Let's keep it up for those waiting with RFEs and on their Embassies.

Thanks a lot vosnmars!! Helps a lot not to feel left alone!

Hey everyone, I'm in panic mode. I sent out the I-129F in January and hopefully will be receiving the NOA2 shortly. I may have messed up on the paperwork becuase of the G325A for my fiancee. I filled out my G325A accordingly and signed it. However, my fiancees' G325A I couldn't sign becuase she isn't in the US. I annotated that saying that it will be signed once the paperwork gets to her. Does anybody what could happen?
