K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Visa approved!!!	My fiancee called me a few minutes ago to let me know that her visa was approved at her interview in La Paz, Bolivia!!! I don't have all the details yet, but I think they only asked her how we met and how long we've been engaged. I'll chalk that up to lots of evidence well-presented and organized, as well as God's grace and mercy towards us. I will post a consulate review when I get more details. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	K1 Approved	From all the advice I got prior to filing, it doesn't matter where you file.. CSC,VSC,etc.. Most important thing is to 1. Read, and read again the instructions on the i-129 application. (most of the questions on these forums are directly related to missed directions..) 2. Make sure you have all the required documentation. Check and Double Check 3. Provide enough support, and even more support 4. Spend a few bucks and bind all the papers concisely and make it look super professional with cover letter. I work in management consulting and i can tell you when I see proposals which are not professional looking, they don't get our attention.. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	UNAPPROVED JUNE FILLER'S 2011	Guys, On rule of thumb, expect it will take 5 months end-to-end from NOA1 to Interview Date. Once you understand this, its a waiting game. Some NOA2 Approvals are quicker, than, others, but if something is outside your control, don't stress about it. It tests your patience, but, that's life. Personally speaking, I think the USCIS does a very good job in vetting the applications, processing applications. You need to realize people throughout the world (other visa types) from all over the world try to enter USA legally and through illegal documentation, so, I don't mind USCIS taking 5 months time, because it's a huge task to make sure the country doesn't let in crazies, or fraudulent cases. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	UNAPPROVED JUNE FILLER'S 2011	You are barely 3 months in to the process so there is nothing to complain about yet. Yes some people who filed after you have been approved, but I can tell you many many times more people filed before you and are still waiting and many many more people had to wait 7, 8 or 9 months just to get through USCIS. As others have said, you need to be more patient for this process. Rather than blaming the government for being to slow for your case, you should blame all of those people who have tried to cheat the system in the past (and still try to cheat the system) and have caused each case to be scrutinized that much more. Excellent point.. It's the cheaters and ppl who try to deceive the system which is the real cause of concern and backlog which hampers quicker processing of applications. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	UNAPPROVED JUNE FILLER'S 2011	SO MANY PEOPLE GOT APPROVAL FROM USCIS EVEN THEY FILLED PETITION LATER FROM US. THIS IS VERY UNFAIR DECISION OF THE USCIS I DON'T KNOW WHY THEY ARE DOING THIS.I THINK WE SHOULD ALL TOGETHER MAKE COMPLAINT TO GOVT ABOUT THIS. I WANT TO KNOW OTHER'S OPINION IN THIS MATTER SO PLEASE ADD YOUR SUGGESTIONS. Depending on center what center you submitted, who opened your application, and how thoroughly they check can be a big difference. Also, some immigration officials take their time and more due diligence if the paperwork isn't organized or well put together. Regardless, i say be patient, and you your decision will come shortly. No one gets special treatment from USCIS. All are equal, and most important criteria which you control is how through and well documented your case is, which makes their jobs alot easier. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Tears of Joy at Interview: Visa Approved!!	To all Visa Journey members, We heard the magic words "Visa approved" on October 12. Now, with great anticipation, awaiting the printing and delivery of visa. This post is firstly and foremost, a huge thank you to each and all the Visa Journey members who have provided us much helpful information as well as moral support all along the way of this roller-coaster ride of an experience. (Shudder to think how the experience would have been without VJ help and support. ) Secondly, we hope our good news will serve as encouragement to those still at earlier stages in the process. Yes, the waiting feels relatively long, sometimes even agonizingly so, but the feeling when the goal is achieved is indescribably wonderful and makes all the waiting worthwhile. Last but not least, our sincere wish and prayer is that each and everyone of you sincerely and steadfastly working towards your own goals will as soon as possible be able to experience similar feelings of joy and elation. For those interested in the actual interview experience itself, please see the review we have submitted for the Manila embassy along with the reviews of others. In short, we were over-prepared (at interview only asked were a few relationship questions, a few photos of us together requested, required documents submitted), and we would still deliberately do the same. We saw others denied for not even meeting the most basic of specified documentary requirements. Spending money on a wedding is all relative to your budget , and what you feel comfortable. Some folks will spend $5000, while others may spend $100,000. It's a personal thing b/t the couple. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	ISLAMABAD EMBASSY EMAILED ME ABOUT AP VERY DISSAPOINTED	Hi Winnings23,,Thanx very much for ur input,, My name is Poonwattie I am the petitioner, I live in NY, my fiance is Mohsin and he lives in Pakistan, as soon as Mohsin received the email from the embassy he called me, and right away I started working on everything i contacted the Senator and the congressman, I already fill out the form and fax it back to the senator office, they also needed my signature, giving them permission to contact the embassy, I am going in the congressman office on Tuesday morning at 9 am sharp to sign a consent form for them too, and yes I am prepared to give whatever info they need, we have nothing to hide from them, the problem is that our case wasn't denied they used the word revocation, now Tuesday morning I will contact nvc and get a better idea as to wht revocation is,,,And then from there we will know how to proceed, and also we need to know the reason for the revocation, this answer I think the senator or the congressman can get, however our aim for now is to see if we can keep them from sending our case back to the US and a possible second interview, i email them and ask them to give us a chance to clear their doubt which they have, so i am not giving up just yet,, but we also have a plan B, if they will make us wait too long i will withdraw the K1 and go to Pakistan and get married and file CR1, I am hoping that someone on Vj have done something like this in the past, and could shed some light on how this will work,,,,so thanx to everyone for ur support, its very much appriciated and to Carolyn thanx for ur kind words,, as for Eabbas, I dont have enough words to thank you for ur support, u stayed on the phone with me, and even cried with me, your words meant soo much to me,,,and to everyone else plz don't hesitate to share ur advise, I will b grateful. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	ISLAMABAD EMBASSY EMAILED ME ABOUT AP VERY DISSAPOINTED	basically the embassy is sending it back from them and they want uscis to also look at it and revoke it meaning if its revoked you wont get a visa on this petition. But its always possible for uscis to look at it and decide that it is an approvable petition and send it back to the embassy..however because its a k1 fiance petition they usually sit on it letting it expire but tell her to keep doing whawt shes doing and try to keep the petition there in case they havent sent it back yet. just keep the faith the biggest thing is you must find out WHY they sent it back for revocation so that you can overcome this obstacle in the future with another k1 or cr1 visa...if you dont fix the reason why then they will deny it again and send it back. I think Ebbas is right, even the US Congressman will want to know the reason why the petition has been denied. Before the congressman takes up the fight for you, they will need to know all the details including anything about the petitioner. Provide where the petitioner was born, travel history dating back since he was a teenager, work history, letter of support from Pakistan (his employer, professional acquaintances, NOT family), and exact nature of how you meet the first time, where, when, how. This may be pretty personal info, but for the sake of getting buy-in from the congressman and making your case stronger, you will need to prove without a shadow of doubt, the relationship is 100% legit. I would recommend u go to Pakistan and get married to your fiance. Refile, and sponsor as your spouse, provide supporting documentation. 99% of it you already have. Option#2: Get the best immigration attorney you can find and let him/her fight your case. Option #3: Instead of living in the USA, why not move to PK and be with your significant other. Possible? If there's one thing i learned from this immigration process of bringing over a loved one, its you have be to mentally tough and ready to make some serious compromises.
