Its about time to speak for the Arabic men I dated an American girl for 3 year, we brook up for deffirent reasons one of them was that I was very quiet never yell or scream at her no matter what she does. The case has gone back to the officer but for right now, the officers are being told to do the I 130’s. We will have to keep following up." I know it doesn't mean that we're going to approved next week, but still... Who knows? Maybe I'd never come back ha...If I will marry her there, they wouldn't make me leave. Yes. that has been a very long time for a background check (and the check is mainly on the petitioner at this point) The consulates handle the beneficiary....I think maybe it was a stalling mechanism to just get the office of their backs as they were beginning the big slow down. This denial has really put things in perspective. And I feel very bad for RachAl. We're all like a family here and everyone is in shock..After almost 7 months, she's denied...for no reason at all! The same thing, plan B becomes more and more real I feel so freaking bad for RachAl!!! I do not understand how this could possibly happen... So unbelievable There is only hope and faith left for us at the point, and I want to say THANK YOU to the big VJ family we have here, without you guys I would have already lost my mind!!! I guess I'll just get my affairs in order so that no matter what happens the separation will be over for me. I just don't know what to expect anymore. If they're issuing arbitrary denials now then god help us all...I wonder how much is background checks and how much is slowness. I guess at least they are still reporting January 16th as the processing date so technically there's some kind of backlog..But this turn of events really bothers me...and it will be even harder to sleep at night now.... So if the K1 doesnt work out you're moving to Ukraine? Ive been thinking the same thing, out country is ridiculous for all that is happening to us all who is stuck right now! Well I got the first response about the background checks on June 29, and it seems like it's been there for a while... Neither of us has any criminal past! So idk what they've been checking for so long! The only thing I can think of is that my fiancée tried to apply for a tourist visa with an invitation from my family last summer but was too scared to mention that we had a relationship and she got denied. We have no criminal records, nothing. The journey is over for us now. I cannot wait any longer. We must be together. I am gonna get everything in order to move to him and marry him there. Does anybody have any advice? I'm in shock. Complete shock. 6.5 months and a denial. I don't understand! If I live with him there, can I apply for a marriage visa for the U.S. in like a year? I am certain I am going there. That's the only way. I pray no one else gets denied. What an unbelievable, horrible nightmare this year has been. I am so sorry to hear that! Hey there, well i got my first response the day after I emailed the office and was in communication with his personal assistant since that, sometimes she replies right away, sometimes takes longer, the last time I asked she didnt get back with me for 5 days, so i wrote a very long letter let me quote it: "...I just don't understand how this could be happening at USCIS that they are taking over 6 months with the petition that should receive some action within 5 months. I paid for their service and don't receive any, I'm a regular tax payer also, but still my government does not want to return a favor..." and thats just a part of it! The Processing time report does not reflect those cases that are due to background check delays. They told me this morning that the Service Center is concentrating on a different type of petition, I 130’s so that will cause further delays. I am happy to discuss so please call..." Who are they at the USCIS to decide who is approved first without any chronological sense at all!So yeah so explanation is good enough knowing I will be apart from my fiance for the next 3-4 months!? and even here I have to put the question mark as I just can't be certain anymore! totally agree, it's bs how some ppl get stuck like that has anybody tried contacting the ombudsman? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	January I-129F filers	I have gotten so much encouraging info here I thought I would share this for the January CSC filers who thought Calif was moving quicker than the rest!! 1/10/12 I129F Received 1/12/12 NOA1 Received in mail 1/13/12 "Touched" 6/21/12 Write to my Congressman 6/22/12 Called and put in Service Request 6/27/12 E-mail to DHS Ombudsman via FormDHS-7001 6/30/12 E-mail from USCIS on Service Request: "You should receive duplicate Approval Notice in 14 days" 7/2/12 E-mail from USCIS that petition has been approved. Now it's on to the NVC and wait for our interview! Given that I have visited 8 times in the last 2 years, spent a lot of time with the family in the village, have heaps of photos, cards, e-mails etc I am optimistic that the interview will go smoothly. Here is what I have: - Petiton was received on January 23 - We were able to raise a service request by phone on June 1 - Received a letter from VSC on June 11 saying: "...Your case is currently under review. You should receive a decision or notice of other action within 60 days of the date of this letter..." - Contacted my congressman on June 26 - Got an email from my congressman on July 2 saying (it was actually a forwarded letter from VSC): "Our records reflect that the Petition for Alien Fiancé (e) (Form I-129F), Receipt Number, EAC-..., was received on January 23, 2012, and is currently pending in our background checks unit. Accordingly, we would suggest that you check back in thirty days for updated status if the petitioner has not heard from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) within this time frame." So now we are outside normal processing times. If possible could you please see to why we are entering month 6th with no action on our case whatsoever? It has come to my personal attention that there are many outstanding petitions 'received' in January 2012 that have not been approved. Meanwhile it appears the VSC has moved on to process and approve petitions received in February. Thank you in advance for what information you may be able to provide." Ours was delivered on January 23, but here is the thing, I messed up on the addresses and sent it w Priority mail to the Lewisville instead of Dallas! The USPS web-site says it was delivered, but I'm wondering right now what happened to it after that, like did they possibly just accept it there, send it back to the sender or forwarded to Dallas? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Visa approved!!!	My fiancee called me a few minutes ago to let me know that her visa was approved at her interview in La Paz, Bolivia!!! I don't have all the details yet, but I think they only asked her how we met and how long we've been engaged. I'll chalk that up to lots of evidence well-presented and organized, as well as God's grace and mercy towards us. I will post a consulate review when I get more details.
