i still dont receive my biometrics letter yet, got my NOA last oct 7th and case was transferred to CSC oct 28th.. so that day i called USCIS cause i was so curious and worried cause already transferred and no biometrics yet, and then the guy said just wait and he also said its case to case basis... and until now i dont have any biometrics yet.. one guy in sept filers got his interview letter 1st then after a week or so he got the biometrics yet and scheduled on the same day of his interview... have to wait and wait... i was so worried before too that the letter might lost in the mail, but just a week ago i got notice letter that my case was transferred so i think they really did not send my biometrics letter yet....

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionTo obtain Permanent Residence/GC 2
Hi JRluvsLhyn,

The problem is that upon my AOS interview, the officer didn't tell us when or how to file I-751. It's because the officer didn't even give any decision on our case and only asked us to wait in the mail whether it's approval, denial or RFE. Anyway, I just would like to know how and when to process GC 2 ahead of time. My confusion was when I should file it. And apparently you answer my confusion. Thanks.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionTo obtain Permanent Residence/GC 2
Thanks for your input. I'd like to ask you another question. Supposedly I get my two year / conditional GC, and when is the best time for me to proceed I-751/Permanent GC? Is it based on the due date of conditonal GC (two years after receiving it) or actually two years of our marriage? Which one, I'm just confused.

Hi guys,

What if your conditional Green Card hasn't been approved yet, but then the marriage is over 2 years. What should I do? Am I able to proceed the removal of conditional Green Card? Does it use I-751 form?

Thank you,
-Cherry

Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussionremoving condition due to abuse
I'm sorry that you have to go through such pain but God will not give you more than what you can handle.

It's good that you get a divorce lawyer since it can be lengthy and complicated. But removing conditions is pretty straightforward. Like above comments, if you're English proficient you can do it by yourself. From the look of it, you have all the paperwork and evidence. Just get that divorce paper and you should be good to go.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionAssembling Package: Tabs Assist Question
I use every mean to make my package as much self explanatory as possible.

- Cover letter with details
- Small paper clip to separate the month bill and heavy clip to group the paperwork (house, cars, bank statements, utilities, credit cards, etc)
- Highlight the name and important dates or transactions (i.e. payroll deposits to joint bank account from both payrolls)
- Tab on the first page of each section with brief explanation

I have very short attention span and poor short-term memory. Doing all these help me keep track of what I'm missing.

Good luck smile.gif

Your documents look good to me. But if it will give you some peace of mind, those single-named documents showing same address wouldn't hurt either.

Sorry to hear that! Thanks for sharing your experience and suggestion! Yea! I've heard customs are targeting woman travelling alone recently, and it's getting worse.

Yike! This is bad. I already bought ticket to visit family this Summer. Have to be more cautious then. Hur~

Thanks for sharing the info and sorry about your wife's experience too.

Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion2009 I-751 approved??
Which center did you file?

You may want to check out status list for other VJ filers here:
CSC - http://www.visajourn...h...6586&st=465
VSC - http://www.visajourn...h...056&st=1995

CSC is definitely faster since I see approval for 2009 filers already.

Good luck.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionMarried b4 Citizenship and Adjusting status for wife
When will your wife's H1-B expire? If possible, try to wait for another year to submit the AOS. I belive it's about 6-9 months for interview so it will pass your 2nd anniversary. That way she'll get the 10-year card instead of 2-yr conditional card. You'll avoid a lot of removing condition hessles and save some money for her citizenship instead.

Different address is fine as long as it proves you living together.

For the evidence, I would add car insurance, life insurance, retirement or beneficiary form if you have. Mails or cards addressed to both of you and affidavits too. Don't forget W-2 if you use 1040 copy. timeline.gif
