Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionMy Packet
Don't forget a copy of your green card front and back. I did a cover letter and I also attached sticky post-its on the first page (bottom) of each section of paperwork (using different colours) and wrote on them too eg., tax returns, insurance etc.,. Just an idea.....hope it helps. smile.gif

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionSworn Affidavit Question
I also used the templates from VJ examples but changed a few things eg; at the bottom of each letter I had our family/friends include the following sentence "I declare under the penalty of perjury that the foregoing is true and correct," and they then had them notarized. Also at the top of each sworn declaration they included my A# number and the wording RE; Joint Petition of..........and........to Remove Condtions on Residence of.............

Hope this helps smile.gif

So they are officially announcing they are taking over a year to do what California can apparently do in 2 months . . .

Yep.............frustrating isn't it. If there is a bright side at least they have finally updated.......even though it's been 2 months since the last one.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionVSC processing time updated
Finally VSC have today updated their processing time for those removing conditions to January 27th!!!!! We can only hope it won't be too much longer before there are lots more approvals. Goodluck to all those waiting. This long wait makes you wish you lived in a state that you could have filed with CSC. goofy.gif

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionVSC Approval.......Yayyyyyyy!
Hi there,

I am so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just checked my email and there it was "On January 29th.,, 2009, we ordered production of your new card." kicking.gif

This means it took a few days over 11 months. I have been checking my status online everyday lately and I had no touches since 16th., March 2008 until today where my status has also changed.

Goodluck to everyone still waiting.........hope it will be very soon for all of you. I am glad this journey is finally over!!!! I will not be filing for naturalization because in the next few years we plan on a move back to Australia.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionVSC I-1751 Status List
QUOTE (Kathryn41 @ Jan 29 2009, 03:21 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
I'm with you Daniel. I got transferred with my AOS just as it got to the head of the line after a 14 month wait, then was transferred and had to go to the back of the line and had another 9 month wait for approval. Yep - 3 weeks before our 2nd anniversary and now this. I don't know whether to laugh or cry, but right now I feel like crying. It is probably good news for everyone except those who have been waiting 11 months already.

Your dates are similar to mine, so I hope you get your approval very soon and that they won't transfer your case!

Could someone please update my approval on VSC status list "Approved 29th., January 2009".....many thanks.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionVSC I-1751 Status List
Thankyou for your help and for adding me. I am trying to avoid an infopass appointment because even though we did our biometrics in Syracuse (2 hour drive) our AOS interview was in Buffalo NY ( 4.5 hour drive) and I am guessing that is where we would have to go for the stamp in passport. If we have to well I guess we will but I'm keeping my fingers x'd for everyone that things start moving at VSC.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionVSC I-1751 Status List
Hi everyone,

Could someone please add me to the VSC status list? Sent I-751 02/21/08
NOA dated 02/27/08
Biometrics 03/14/08
No touches since 03/16/08.

Can anyone clarify for me if the one year extension is from the receipt date on NOA or is it from the date on expired greencard? unsure.gif My greencard expired on 05/04/08. The reason I ask is because we are travelling to Australia from the 1st., April'09 to the 17th., April 09 and I am concerned that I may not be approved or have received the 10 year greencard before we leave. Any suggestions as to what to do would be greatly appreciated.....thanks in advance. Seems VSC have come to a complete standstill! sad.gif
