K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	HAD My Interview today:)	Dear Vj family, I had my interview this morning at Abu Dhabi US Embassy.Just wanted to share what I experienced today. I hope you will learn something At exactly 6:30 AM my sister and I left the house and headed to the embassy and we waited outside the building where benches are to sit on. 7:45 AM security guard checked my appointment letter and passport then directed me to sit on the IMMIGRANT line. At 8:00 AM the security guard directed me to the entrance of the main building, its not the USEM building yet it’s a separate room for security purposes where they will scan your things and another security personnel will scan your body, and then after everything was checked they instructed me to exit to another door and headed to another waiting room, after few minutes we were asked to go to the main building. As soon as I entered the main building the reception security gave me a control number I got the number (003), and was instructed to sit down and wait till my number flash on the monitor on top of each window. My number flashed on Window No. 10 and a Caucassian lady took 1 copy of my control number (003) and asked for my Filled forms along with my other docs; Filled Forms; DS-156 DS-156 DS-157 DS-230 Part I & II I-134 Income Tax Return of my Fiance Appointment Letter Original Passport Receipt for 540.00 AED (NBAD) 3 photos (2x2) Original Police Clearance Original NBI Birth Certificate Medical Result (except the X-Ray) I prepared all my documents with labels on extra sheet with tabs and clips, PLS DO NOT DO THAT because when i submitted it she told me "too much paper" and she doesn't have all the time to remove it one by one, so she returned it to me and asked me to give only the documents needed After that the lady gave me a slip along with my passport to pay an amount of (375.00 AED) to (Window No. 1 - Cashier) and told me to come back after paying and return to her the passport along with the payment receipt. Its now cheaper before it was 781 aed, but there was a change I think since April 12, 2012:) Then I went back to her and gave my receipt and she told me to sit down and wait for my number to be called. When my number was called at (Window No. 11) for Finger printing (4 left finger / 4 right finger / 2 thumbs together) and then after that the she instructed me to wait for my number to flash at the monitor. And my number flashed on (Window No. 7) a lady conducted my interview,she instructed me to take the phone and raise my right hand and pledge under oath that everything I submitted is true and correct and the ff. question were asked. 1) What’s your Full name? 2) What’s your date of birth? 3) Who is (name of my fiance)? 4) How long have you been engaged? 5) When did he proposed? 6) Was he present during your engagement? 7) How / When / where did you meet? 8) Did you meet in person? How long? 9) Why did you go to America? 10) Why not do the wedding in your country? 11) What is your job? And then finally the C.O. pulled a Pink Slip on the side of her table and told me I think everything is ok, but we still need to check your other documents and saw her writing the (Date / Day / Time) where I should come back to collect my passport and visa and she said once everything is ok they will issue my visa on the date given on the pink slip. I even asked her what I will tell to my fiance, she just smiled and told me " Just tell him you'll comeback on Sunday to collect your passport I'm still praying that everything will be OK on April 29, 2012 (Sunday) and hoping they will issue my Visa, thanks everyone for the great help and support… and thank you also to other Vj members who shared their experiences which also helped me a lot. I hear rumors that the winter thaw is coming soon to the Laguna Niguel facility and the logjam of petitions is slowly being processed. I have been collecting the information necessary for the I-130...."jus takin' care of bidness." Can't do much 'til I hear from the federales. I got dem ole winter blues again mama..... Gunna take that silver bird next week to Beijing and hang with the fiancee in the warmer southern part of her country for about 10 days. Chill, chat, have fun will be the top items on the agenda. Oh yes, taking lots of couple pictures, saving all of the boarding passes, receipts, bars of soap (ha ha) .....all part of the continuing mission to prove to the federales that we is legit. Thankful for all the wonderful people here helping one another, and helping those like me who lurked here for a while. My petition was received by the Texas lockbox on Januart 19th. Now on to the excruciating wait. I may have an uphill climb before me so please send me some good luck when you all can :-). I have so many questions but will save those for later. Been worried too long that I missed anything so I just went ahead and sent the application off. Frontloading it might have been a mistake but I already did it. You have to wait 121 days from approval of I-129F NOA1 for approval of NOA2,and all the waiting time for K-1 visa is at least 5 months,so just be patient, and it is been 3 months after my Fiance submit I-129F,so i am waiting and it is been hard time waiting 5 months,but i should have too. Since your's has gone to the Vermont Service Center, the date next to VSC should apply. Vaccinations are not required in order to get a K-1 visa. If the applicant has a record of their vaccination, that can be used during the Adjustment of Status process in order to show that additional vaccinations are not needed. Contrary to the above post, it is not necessarily better to get them before coming to the US. You can just as easily get them here though in some cases it might be a little more expensive. I'm currently filling papers for K-1 visa and have a question regarding DS-160. There is a question about Intended Length of Stay in U.S. and we have to choose one from 4 options(days, weeks, months and years) and I have no idea which should I choose. Me and my fiance will stay in the U.S. permanently and I answered "Permanently" for the question #26 "How long do you intend to stay in the U.S.?" of DS-156. The website I found suggests I should choose "Permanently", but I can't choose it because there's no such option. Here What shall I answer? 80 years? 3 months? Please help! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	PLEASE HELP WE ARE SO LOST	Hello everyone greetings to all of u i happen to have stumbled on this website when my fiance suggested we filed for a K1 visa.i live in ghana and we have a small bussiness together.am 24 soon to be 25 this year and hes 34 soon to be 35,even tho he looks like hes 27 lol.we met through my classmate who lives with him in the states .this was around january but we hadnt met personally cos it was on phone, i must say i had just come out from a very bad relationship which left me very heartbroken,and so i wanted nothing to do with men.i totally closed the love chapter in my life,until my friend called out of the blue saying she heard i broke up and she had the best man for me .i smiled and said here we go again,am not interested.She said wait till u meet him hes just like u caring humble and kind.so my craz friend gives him my number and we start talking.I was amazed to find out that he would call me every single day.i realised i had fallen head over heals inlove with him without even setting eyes on him,.I accepted his proposal in february by then we new alot about each other,he spoke to my mum and family and we grew from strenght to strenght.then he came to see me in ghana in august!.I must say it was the most memorable day of my life,when i met him in person i realised what a kind heart he had he was God fearing and honest i knew then that this was my Soulmate.Enough walabaloo. Can someone help pls. http://eigenein.info/skype-historian/ this is the link, first download it and install and run the program and and the browser of Skype Historian showed up then you have to click on next and then Export,so you can export all your histories from Skype and after its done when you opened it appears in Excel then you can print the one you want. But we havnt received the email which we signed up for. My fiance will be home tonight so hoping we have a letter confirming but if not what do we do?
