Middle East and North Africa	FRIDAY!!!!!!!!	Good morning! Happy Friday to everyone!! Wael had his first 3 hr class last night. I admire his determination! He certainly will be busy this semester...16 units. His geology class changed from 3 to 4 units. He's on another journey!! You are right Maureen...the time is flying by. Sandra, sorry to hear they extended your husbands military time. What a bummer!! From what I hear Egypt is famous for doing that. Wael was fortunate to only have been on a waiting list for 3 yrs. Middle East and North Africa	Mixed Religions	I am Catholic and Wael is Muslim. We have had no problems or issues with each others religions.. I am with him during Ramadan and he is with me during Christmas and other Christian hoidays. I do believe knowledge is the greatest gift we have when it comes to religion. Wish we could attend the fun with everyone in Vegas. We certainly would go if Wael didn't have papers due. We are like ships that pass in the night now. He loves his classes and professors and is doing very well. Think I will make some popcorn and watch a movie. Wow I think I just heard THUNDER!!!!!!!!!! How exciting and I didn't have to dance!! Tammy, happy you had a good time with everyone. Saw some of the pics on fb!! We don't have much planned for the weekend. I have some shopping to do and Wael will peer out from his laptop every so often to wave to me while doing papers. I made Tacos last night for dinner. They were really horrible. Have no idea what went wrong except kept thinking of the "pink taco and puffy taco". Was so hard to concentrate on a "plain" taco. Oh well, we ate them...I complained and Wael smiled. Maybe you can transition him to a sleeping bag on your bedroom floor, and then back to his bed? the pallet on the floor (they say) works wonders. He's still "with you" but learning to sleep without you right beside him. I wish you all the luck in the world with this issue!
