Good morning and happy Sunday to everyone!

See where some of you really had alot of snow! It's beautiful!

We will have sun and 72 today. Love this time of the year in Arizona!

Yesterday we decided to go to one of the malls. What a disaster! Traffic
was awful, couldn't find a parking spot anywhere, we were hungry (NOT GOOD),
people acting like maniacs.....left and ended up at Target sitting with a bag of popcorn!!
I could have been that "angry reindeer"!! laughing.gif laughing.gif
Ohhhh what fun Christmas has become. Honestly it certainly brings out the
worst in the human being. Certainly was nice to come home to the safety and
quietness of HOME!!

I don't understand the whole concept of who gets AP and who doesn't either. We filed the CR-1 and didn't get AP. He got his visa the next day. Not true. There was nothing wrong with any of our paperwork or interview. Cairo is known for long
A/P's. I have still to figure out why it seems that Egypt has longer A/P's than other countries, but
I think now Morocco has caught up with Egypt. Used to be their A/P was only a couple weeks. I think the shortest A/P from Egypt since I have been on VJ was 2 wks and that was Sparrow. I'm sure some will remember them. Other than that, most of us who have gone thru Cairo have at least 6 months....some are even longer like Tammy and Bridget.

We had a fantastic CO for our petition interview (DCF), but Wael had a bear for his visa interview.
The CO told him he would get his visa in 2 wks....yeah right...6 months later it was issued. No rhyme or reason. Most of our SO also had home visits thru Cairo. One cannot predict nor calculate when a visa will be issued. Doesn't matter what country you have filed from.

My husband wasn't asked any questions at his visa interview as the CO had all our supporting
documents when we filed our DCF. They didn't keep his passport and also told him it would be
a couple weeks till he heard from them. His visa was issued 6 months later.

Good morning! Happy Tuesday to everyone! Well we have been promised a
"chance" of showers....better than "fleeting clouds"!! I will believe it when I
see the wet ground.

Wael has a 3 day weekend. No 6,7 or 8 days for us!! Lucky we have that!

I'm still up in the air about what to have for Christmas dinner. He wants
turkey and personally I don't want to spend the day babysitting the bird.
So will probably go with a standing rib or even cereal!! laughing.gif I'm a cereal lover
and he gags at the very thought of eating it. We are the perfect match!!! luv.gif

Hope everyone has a beautiful day even with the snow. Always loved how
quiet it was when it snowed. Miss seeing some white.

Good morning! Happy Wednesday to everyone. Weather was terrible in Phoenix yesterday with the
dust storm that hit. The I-10 had a huge 40 car pileup with 4 fatalities. We had alot of dust also,
but nothing like Phoenix. Today is going to be clear, sunny and cooler temps.

Wael has been in the states 2 yrs today!! Really has gone by fast. Also he received straight A's
for his courses! Not bad at all for 18 units! He worked his buns off and am so proud of him! good.gif

day, but ohhhh is it chilly!!!

We had a very nice and relaxing Christmas! Today it's off for an oil change and
a couple new tires for Wael's car. Exciting huh!!! laughing.gif

Don't know if we will do a little shopping. I'm sure it will be crazy out there
and really don't want to contend with brash idiots returning items today.

The baby is entirely too young to be without you, especially so far away. I know he wants his family to meet the newest child, but he really needs to think this thru.

Sorry, if it was me I would stand my ground and not give in. See if you can at least talk with him about saving the money so all of you can go together. I'm sure it's going to be a battle and I do feel so bad for you that he has put you in this situation.

Good morning! Happy Saturday to all!

Such a gorgeous day today! Think we will go to the mall. Perhaps (dreaming)
it won't be crowded.

We had a very nice New Year's dinner. Fixed king crab legs, shrimp scampi
and scallops. Watched some of the Rose parade. When I was living in California,
we would go to Pasadena the day after the parade and look at all the floats. They
were simply beautiful. If you have the chance try to make it to see the floats.
