Okay...So...we are moving into our new home this coming Friday and each weekend for about 2 weeks now...we have been bringing over small loads of boxes, etc.

Well, Saturday morning we head over and I'm in my new gorgeous bathroom...enjoying the double sinks...enourmous tub...lovely shower...and I look back again at one of the double sinks...hmmm..."whats that a rubber band?" NOOOO!!! It's a scorpion and its ALIVE! ohmy.gif

Okay, so I know I live in the desert and YES I know there are scorpions here but I have lived here almost 5 years and have never EVER seen one! (only on tv...haha). What am I going to do? I feel like I will never ever be able to sleep again. I don't even want to move into the house!

Any suggestions before my husband and my father kill me? I'm worried about the babies and about getting bitten myself! crying.gif crying.gif



Living in the desert definately has its risks! One of my "things" is to always check my shoes before I put them on....be aware of dark corners....check your cabinets...

Make sure your patio doors (if you have them) are closed...those little suckers can squeeze in. If you have throw rugs check them also....

Just take caution and do a fast check! Good luck!

Morning everyone! Hope you are having a good Saturday!! It's crazy weather in the southwest
also. Hubby saw his first gila monster yesterday evening!! We live at the base of the
Catalina mtns with ALL the critters, cactus etc...He loves looking at the desert!

We're going to Tombstone tomorrow....living in the wild wild west!!

My first trip was in the summer. It was the last week in August into the first 2 weeks in September. It was hot. The house didn't have A/C so I bought a floor fan for the living room and the bedroom. I got used to the heat after awhile. I stayed in Kenitra the whole time. So I too was up north on the coast and it was still warm.

I had to get a health certificate, so I had the tests done today. For drawing blood it only took 3 tries wacko.gif . After the first try, the nurse said "ohhh i'm so sorry, your veins are so hard to find". I told her "it's ok, it's happened before, don't worry", then she said, "I'm new at this"...that's when I started to worry! laughing.gif I already see the bruise color starting to form!


I'll leave the rest of the cleaning for later!




Next time you have to have a blood test, ask them to use a pedo needle. Makes a world of difference...no bruising at all !!
