IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - June 2014	I can't tell you how sick and tired I am of this roller coaster DRAMA FILLED process.  One minute I am happy, the next minutes sad, followed by pissed off.. Happy again.... etc.,   I did talk to a supervisor when I called this afternoon. She said she would look into this and call me back..  Well folks... She did what she said she would do. She called me back at 3:55pm on my way home from work.   She said sometimes they enter case complete and then it goes to a QC reviewer. Most likely for me because it was reviewed so many times and that incorrect email was sent to me. Anyway, she told me it will be taken care of this evening and she will call me tomorrow morning around 8am to confirm.  She suggested I request an expedite and gave me the email address for that. That was her suggestion, I didn't even think of that.  So, I sent an email for an expedite and I will call back tonight to see if they fixed it. I will also wait for her call tomorrow morning because I have learned not to trust anything they say...      As for the mystery mail... she told me that every time they do a supervisor review, it shows up as mail received.   I explained that I only asked for one review. She laughed and said yea, its been reviewed alot for that birth certificate.     So  I am still technically CC'd but it is sitting on a QC desk for sign off.    How eff'd up is this process?????  I hope they respond to my expedite. I need to get the hell outta Dodge   and I don't know if this is good or bad but my husband's phone is messed up.  He told me last night that the battery won't charge so he has to go into town and get a new one after work.  So I feel lost without my " Good Morning Honey" whatsapp message in the morning and my lunch time message and my coffee break message.  all this drama and I can't even call him   but if they fix the whole thing, then I saved him the stress.  . I'm sorry this is happening to you. But I really do think it'll be figured out by tomorrow and you'll be good to go. OK, folks.  It's official!!!   CASE COMPLETE AS OF JUNE 4!!!     AND, I must have good luck - I never had to speak to either Joy or AH-thur!!!!   Jim was the bearer of good news.  He didn't even ask me "What can I help you with this evening?".  He cut right to the chase and told me the case was complete!   Then, when I gently pushed, he read me the standard line about interview scheduling and it depended on how busy the consulate was, blah, blah, blah.  But he told me he loved being able to tell people good news!!!!   Now....waiting on interview scheduling....   For those of you waiting - it does appear that an "N/A" under "Affidavit of Support Fees" is a positive indicator of case complete.  My package explaining that the checklist item they wanted was 1) not required and 2) not available was scanned in on May 9th. Sukie Can't believe it!!!! WOOT WOOT!!!!! UPDATE: My husband had his interview today and his visa was APPROVED. It was at 9:15 and he got out 11:30 because he said there were a lot of people. We are completely happy and will wait for his visa here (which they say will take 1-6 days). Thank you Saylin and everyone who helped along the way!! And CONGRATS SUKIE!!! Yayayayayay! Such a relief for you! Can't wait to be at that point too. Oh my goodness. You step away from here and there is so much to catch up on. On hold now to see if there is any news on the interview date. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - June 2014	ok... how's this for a huge BUMMER.. I was told Case complete on June 2nd. I called yesterday and was told the same thing.  I even called early this morning and it was complete.  I called just now and I was told my case is NOT complete and he didn't now why I was told that.. I ask to speak to a supervisor. She looks at my case and told me there is conflicting information.   ( needless to say I am freaking out)   she said she will correct this and call me back this afternoon. Her goal is to fix this by today.  She told me they are finished the first round of July interviews as of June 2nd so I might not make a JULY interview... #######???   so as of right now I am not inline for an interview.      I swear... this is the most EFFF'd up process....   WHAT?!?!?! Finally, after seeing everyone calling I called Friday afternoon and found out the interview had been set 3 days already! When I asked about the cc and il letters she said they were about a week behind on IL emails and I never received a CC letter. Great, looks like I'll be calling tomorrow. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - June 2014	This sucks! I sent my AOS yesterday and it was delivered this morning. Waiting for IV to be available.    Althought the wait 30 days is a generic response from NVC. Spreadsheet and some posts suggest 2-3 weeks for IV post May....   I am so unlucky. For i130, USCIS was backlogged, had to wait retarded amount compared to those who sent papers afterwards. And It seems starting May, they are backlogged  at NVC. April was fine so whatever the hell happened in May to cause this delay!!!     You are right. Anything I did in April was on speed. Everything was invoiced within a few days. I think the fact that USCIS is now approving people quicker has backlogged NVC. They probably weren't expecting to receive such a crazy amount of approvals. May was a bad a month, but they seem to have people working overtime now. So maybe they'll catch up in June. There should be a change for sure.	LifeOnHold	Not Telling	Portugal	2014-06-03 14:30:00

But after this hopefully you will be done with NVC nonsense (at least for a while)! Hope you'll find the info about the doctor soon, maybe you should pm a former portuguese VJ who had his interview recently! I haven't seen any interview scheduled for july in paris yet, perhaps you can have an early july interview!! Can't wait for my case to be complete and to know when the interview is scheduled :'-(   You are almost there!! They were working on 5/8 yesterday! So you should call them tomorrow and the rest of the week. Pretty sure you will get Case Complete this week if they keep working at this quicker pace.    And you just reminded me that Sandraperry (another VJ member) had sent me info about the medical in Portugal lol. Btw I was curious, do you have to schedule the medical appointment in Lisbon or it has to be in Paris too? I was annoyed to have to travel for the medical and the interview as I live south, but gosh you guys must be so annoyed that they don't schedule interviews in Portugal anymore :-( Hope you will get your interview soon!   I just asked about the medical in the July interview thread! I haven't seen anyone with Paris receive an interview date yet. But my husband has to have his medical done in Portugal. I know that only one place in the whole country does it, Lisbon, but I can't seem to find the info on the Doctor and location on the NVC site.    It's highly annoying that we have to pay to fly to Paris in the middle of Summer (hello $$$$$$) for the interview instead of just driving there. I mean we could drive from Portugal, but I can't do that long in a car. Ill be miserable. But, we just have to suck it up and pay the price. We were just in Paris in December too with family.      My email came Monday morning, and I had received word of my interview date by phone Friday night, so one working day for me.   Thanks Lakehouse! IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - June 2014	You're supposed to get the email within a few hours of scheduling occurring. I suggest following the July interview thread to see when people are posting updates, it'll help you gauge what's going on. I didn't have to call to get my date, I had a tip off from another UK member that they received an email and mine followed within the hour. It's prime time for scheduling, so maybe call on Friday to see what's going on if you don't hear anything by then -- just make sure your consulate is still scheduling for July, etc.    I believe they are scheduling for July still. I was also thinking of waiting for Friday as well. If I haven't heard anything by then, another call to the NVC will have to happen. Oh Joy! Received Case # and IIN, but when do I get the actual invoice to make the payment and move forward? Please help.     If you gave them your email address, then it will be emailed to you. I received the invoice for the first fee within 2 days. But they are taking longer now. Also, when you sign in to pay it, it may say something about "your case being in the process of termination." Don't freak out. It's just not in the system yet.  Hey guys - after on hold for 45 mins I was told my case is completed!!! We are now waiting for an interview date, none in June. I'll happily drag my husband anywhere in the country if there's a concert date after he arrives. Getting on a plane WITH him instead of saying goodbye at the airport...   It's going to be the most amazing feeling. This time between interview and POE is extremely rough on me for some reason, I've been struggling a lot, I just want him here so I can spoil him silly! I'm coming up with all kinds of activities and adventures for us this summer, and the poor guy is just trying to sort out his to-do list before he moves    I have to admit that this is what I am the most excited about. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - June 2014	So happy for all my L-girls out there - LoveMyTico, LucyBelle, and LifeOnHold!!!  Congratulations!!!  And all the others, too!!!!   I'm in Australia - so I cannot call until much later tonight (if I can stay awake that long!) - but I checked my CEAC page and both my AOS and Civil Documents say "N/A" at this point.   Now...my AOS has been complete for over a month now - it was the IV packet that was holding us up.  So I don't know what to make of the N/As on our screen - but I will call as soon as they open (which will be 7 a.m. on Tuesday EDT US - and 9 p.m. Australian Eastern Time Tuesday night), and find out if we have good news too.   Praying that LindyStephan gets good news soon, too.  Steve and I have been neck and neck since we got our Case Numbers....   Sukie       L girls   Thank you!!! Your case is COMPLETE!!!!!!!!" And then I yelled, "FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!" ::insert dancing emojis with sunglasses which I have been saving for Case Complete and now can't use them because I am on a mobile device:: Thank you so much to all of you with your patience and well wishes. I'm not freaking out..  Just  reporting the change..      LucyBelle..... didn't this happen to you recently?     I don't see where you can see if you're CC  but I'll look again Umm... Just checked CEAC portal and it now says my AOS fee is N/A which it didn't earlier today. Just said PAID. on hold now. Wonder if the rumor of it changing after CC is true. Congratulations! Finally huh? As LifeonHold said to me, another one bites the dust. Lol. Godspeed with the last of your journey. Hahaha! Just noticed that the CEAC website has been updated.
