To answer ur question about the wait time, it is around 70 days from Noa2 date to interview right now. In other words, once approved petition gets to Kiev they schedule interviews about a month and a half out. If we get approved together I might meet ur fiance in Kiev at the interview . To know if you got touched just go to www.uscis.gov, go to to Case Status Online and register with a login & password. Than just add your case (NOA1) number to the portfolio and you'll see last updated date in the middle. When it changes that means a touch. Between USCIS website acting up, June approvals coming in way before they cleared up May and all the talk about VSC slowing down even more I seriously have no clue as to what to believe now! I just don't know what to hope for It's like that NOA2 can come in tmr and than it might be here in a month Other than that, hope u lucky jackpot winners are on fast tracks to the embassy . So did a little dance for each familiar name out there So CONGRATS to all my dear friends!!!! Am so happy for Alex, Jenni, Gordon, Tarantula and Tiger . Am a bit upset seen all those June approvals while so many May filers are still waiting, but nothing we can do about it, USCIS is just unfair What's the worst is that all my plans of taking Dave to Kiev went down in flames as I got really sick, so he pretty much spends time with my family while heavily medicated me is snoring away. Tell me about bad timing. Hope I'll get a bit better by tmr to put him on the plane back to US My last ray of hope is thinking that our approval is seating in D's mailbox waiting for him to get home, lol Best wishes to all of us still waiting!!!! So we ended up loosing those 30 days. Otherwise, D. and I would be as anxious as you guys are at the moment I guess whatever happens, happens for a reason. Susita, your stories cracked me up You gonna have many more funny moments once Luis gets to the ol' good US of A I guess I'll share my own experience as a dummy foreigner to illustrate I got my first car back in July of 2007 and Dave had a lot of fun with terrified me (I could barely drive) following him home from the dealer. As time passed I got better with driving and he stopped calling me everytime I went places just to make sure that both me and my ride were fine . A month later Dave's B-day was approaching and I went out to get his present. As I got back to the parking lot after the shopping trip, I saw my car with a huge dent on the passanger side and chips of paint and brokent light glass on the ground that indicated somebody JUST hit my baby car I worked for a whole year to buy! Paniced I run to the security booth and nice lady proceeded to help me. First of all she looked at the security cameras screen and managed to zoom the picture to show the dented side. A little rewinding showed how somebody was backing out into my ride!!! We called the police and she proceeded to fill out the form. Since I just got my tags, I couldn't give her a number and went back to the car to pick up my insurance and other docs. On the way I called Dave (who happend to be swaped at work) and cried like a baby. Anyway, so I get to the car, stick my key into the lock and it's not working. Only then I notice weird bags on the backseat and realize.... that it is not my car . Same year and make, same color, but mine is three spots down the row as fine as I bought it! I felt like such an idiot. When I called Dave to explain the mishap, he wouldn't believe me.
