Good moring Sub,

I know some of you know that i have been going through custody/visitation battles with my son's father. 3 moths ago I had to stop the battle, let go and let god. It has been difficult time watchign my son go through anxiety, smelling like smoke, and personality changes that were yet to be desired. But at the hight of the battle, my ex had it looking like I was causing my son's problems. So I step back, agreed to traditional visitation arangements. Well once I was out of the battle it allowed him to show his true collors. Have party's at 5pm that go on all night while my son has school the next day. Picking him up from school and leaving town on a night my son has practice, but leaving him wth his roomate.

Yesterday I got my final answer to my paitience and trust in God. The Gaurdian Et LItem is going to request the court stop the overnight visits. This has been a true test to my faith. Everytime I think the madness is going to stop it kept going. So I thank GOD for my lessons through the process and guiding the GAL to making a choise that is in my son best interest.

Trust me when I say this battle is not done. We now will be going to trial, which scares me to death. But this just built my strength for the next battle.

That is my testimony for the day.

Great day Sub-Sahara. God has blessed my husband with 2 jobs this week. We are still waiting to hear from a 3rd interview. He was studying for his drug and alcohol test for today. Thought you subbies would get a kick out of that.

He doesn't even have a test date for his driving exam and studies teh book like his bible. Drives me crazy. I say stop studying that book until you have a test schedule.

Good morning!

I usually go to bed at 8 pm. well last night i could not go to sleep until 11 pm, but i am still up at 4 in the morning. When pregnant with my son I was up late and slept in. Back then I had a job as a retail manager that accommodated this schedule. The other managers loved not working nights. With this job I can't afford to have this type of schedule.

Does anyone have suggestions on getting to sleep naturally?

hello subberzzz, howz it going?
today has been sooo liberating for me.
I cut off all of my hair, got a low profile precision cut, tapered on the sides and back , texturized it, colored it and whewwww! I feel good.
Its like a yolk has been removed. I have been growing my hair out since I moved my grandmother closer to me {2yrs ago} and I promised her I would let it continue to grow {when we were told she was terminal}. since she has left me, I have been completely out of sorts, and stress has invaded every aspect of my being. and recently my hair started falling out, but I was determined to keep that promise. Well, this morning, I prayed, and spoke to my granny and asked her permission to cut my hair off. I felt guity driving to the barbers, but man, when he started cutting and my hair started to hit the floor, I felt such a relief and a release of pressure. So I think I have my grannys' blessing and she understands this is like a cleansing for me.

I came across this and decided to post it. Maybe someone needs a reminder.... biggrin.gif

Love is a wonderful gift; trust in it, believe in it, give it, and it will be returned to you to give again and again. You can get advice from family, friends and strangers, but the best advice comes from your heart; it never lies - trust it. There may be many people that are trustworthy, but only a few are worth trusting with your heart; choose wisely. To be trusted is a greater compliment than to be loved. For you can love many, but without trust you have nothing. The heart already knows what the mind can only dream of. Trust your heart. Distance cannot, and will not hurt a bond between two people that is based on mutual respect, trust, commitment, and love. Jealousy is not a sign of true love; it's insecurities that comes in the way, 'cause love has just one important ingredient; Trust! Do you trust me? Love means never doubting anything. It means trusting and being honest with each other. Someone can be as beautiful on the outside as they are on the inside, but when he or she betrays your trust, they become the ugliest person in the world.
Love is patient.
Love is kind.
It does not envy.
It does not boast.
It is not proud.
It is not rude.
It is not self-seeking.
It is not easily angered.
It keeps no record of wrong doing.
It does not delight in evil, but rejoices in the truth.
It always protects, trusts, hopes, perseveres.
Love takes many things: trust, hope, wishes, dreams, and everything you've got, even when you know it's not going be enough. Love is not always fireworks and shooting stars; sometimes it's a simple understanding and trust between two people.

Thanks for this UNO. I was recently baptized in front of my church. Was waiting for my husband's arrival. I have sinned so much I feel I need to take the plunge again. Just joking! Well my pastor gave me this bible that has the red writing in it. So this was interesting to me.

I just had to post this one, and yes, it was in my "inbox" star_smile.gif

Written In Red

READ: 1 John 4:7-19
God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. —1 John 4:9

My first Bible was printed mostly in black type, but some of its words were in red. It didn't take me long to discover that the ones in red had been spoken by Jesus.
More than 100 years ago, a man named Louis Klopsch published the first "red-letter" Bible.
As he thought about Jesus' words in Luke 22:20, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you," he purposely used blood-red ink to call specific attention to His words.

The words of the Bible are priceless to us because they tell of the "love letter" God sent 2,000 years ago in the Person of His Son (1 John 4:10).

Jesus' purpose in coming to earth as a Man was to die, to be sacrificed, to give His life for ours. God's plan was written in red—written with "the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot" (1 Peter 1:19).

Those of us who have accepted God's gift of love are called to be "letters" to those who don't know Him. We are epistles of Christ "written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God" (2 Cor. 3:3).
Long before a day in February was set aside to celebrate love, the world received a love letter—and that changed everything (John 3:16). —Cindy Hess Kasper

I see the benefit way more spiritually and mentally then physically. Less stress, I now sleep better, and I have more energy. The bonus is I might loose weight.
People drink and do drugs to have less stress, better sleep and more energy, so I figure why not do it the easy way. LOL

Keep up the good work LL Cool. good.gif

Happy Birthday Chipas and Won Ton.

I took my little shorty to the gym today (he's 3 1/2 years old) to shoot hoops. They interrupted his hoopfest for a scheduled kickboxing class so I decided to join in; I think I may of lasted 3-minutes.......LOL. usually that class would of barely made me sweat.

But hey that beats my usual of turning my cable T.V. on to the excercise channel and watching it as if I were looking at a movie......hehehehe. (The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak)

Meanwhile I barely able to fit into a size 12. Who's on board to committing to excercise at least 20-minutes a day (for starts ) you know we have to start somewhere.
Right now I'm so out of shape; is anyone interseted in starting a online excercise program for the Sub Saharan ?
