Thank you all again for your thoughts and prayers. We don't know where things stand right now. My son is just doing all the things he needs to do and has told her she can come home when she's ready.

Good morning all! It is a great first day to an amazing week.

Must be hard for you to see your son go through that. They are young and she will never find what she is looking for if she doesn't fill her heart with the love of God. Sorry if I sound preachy.

Thanks for the thoughts and prayers! It just came as such a surprise - I guess it shouldn't have though. She just 18 and already had two babies, she just not ready for "grown up" life.

It's friday and I am leaving work early. My son is sick from stress. My body is stiff from stress. I have Reiki tomorrow that alway leaves me feelign wonderful.
Have a great weekend all, if I do nto make it back.

Hello Sub friends.
I need lots of prayers. I have been going through some battles with my son's bio father. The Gaurdian At Litem (rep for my son) finally discovered inconsistancies with his stories. But he (father) requested she be removed from the case. His request was granted. She will still be able to testify, but she will no longer be checking in with my son or questioning people on the stand. I am so frustrated right now. I did my kicking and screaming on Saturday. I am in fight mode now.
My son has explained activities of parties going on until 7 am and has actually seen his father smoking marijuana. Stange people coming in and out of the house.

UNO ,
I am so blessed that my husband believes, practices and preaches all these things. God is good!
Now if I can behave in a manor that always honors him and God that deminstrates taht I am worthy of all these things.

unsure.gif hey, anybody herrre?
blink.gif guess not.....goodie, now I can continue with my plan of edification...muuwhaaaahhaaaa devil.gif
okay, seriously blush.gif , I am bored and earlier today I had a discussion about a "wifes" duties/treatment/behaviours in marriage. Well, me being who I am, I had to go there..... wacko.gif
this was and is my rebuttal:

privileges that belong to the wife:
she is to be loved like Christ loved the church as commanded in Ephesians 5:25.
She is to be honored as none other in I Peter 3:7,
and she is to be praised by her family, Pro. 31:28.

further clarification
"To love their husbands" is a command means that you are a partner with him, working together toward a common goal. Then you can be appreciative of his actions, efforts and work in supporting the family. You will do all that you possibly can to see that they are comfortable and happy when they come home.

"To love their children" is another command As a man provides for his family financially, mothers stay home and rear the children. As he earns the living and supports the family, you take care of the children while he is gone to work and make the house comfortable by keeping it pleasant and enjoyable. Yes, children can become exasperating at times, but remember, they are children who are still developing and learning. They need that sober guiding hand of the mature mother who lets them know that they are the objects of her love and concern.

"To be obedient to their own husband" points out the closeness of the two."
This is not indicating that You can't and do not have any thoughts of your own! The idea is that as husband and wife work together and that you are not constantly pulling in an opposite direction.
This obedience does not mean that you are a slave or an indentured servant, but rather that you are sharing a mutual goal.
The harshness of the word obedient is tempered by the display of love and affection that the husband shows his wife!"

To be keepers at home" is a command that indicates a divided responsibility.
His job seems to be to go out and earn the living and provide for his family while she looks after the home. Even though a wife does not work outside of the home in what we call public work, she is still vital to the income of the family. Hers is a non-income producing activity, but it is still vitally important to the overall success of the family.

A} When God created woman, she was taken from the rib of man as is described in Genesis.
1} She was taken from the rib on man that she might be by his side continually.
a} She is to be loved and is to respond as a part of his body.
b} Husbands and wives are a part of each other.
1} Solomon describes a worthy woman. It is Proverbs 31:10-31. (Read).
God's explicit view of a wife and mother.
2} She was not taken from his foot that she might be crushed underneath his heel in bitterness.
3} Neither was she taken from his head so that she might rule over him.
4} She was not taken from the hand so that she might continually fill the position of waiting upon him.

was I wrong? did I miss something? or maybe my perceptions were off huh.gif
but whatever the case, I think I made my case and possibly enlightened some well meaning but misinformed folks. yes.gif

okay, now I'm going to bed, my deeds are done tongue_ss.gif

I'm a returned peace corps volunteer that served in Mali. I met my fiance there. And now I'm trying to get him to America. It's only been a week and a half since I last saw him and I'm already going crazy. I don't know how I'll pass the time without him. Anyway, I'll be around since I find this website so addicting. Plus it makes me feel better about the whole situation since we're all in the same boat. I have millions of questions to ask too.

Activity was one of the keys. The other was strong family and community support. One country ate lots of bread wine and cheese. Another was on the wine,b because it reduced stress. WOW yeah not but 1-2 cups a day though.

No she didn't mean it like if it was said in the us. Actually it is believed the heavier you are the richer you are. They do not think it is an insult to say you are fat or big.

You can do it. I watched Operah last night regarding the blue zones and how these people live healthy lives till over 100. It was an eye opening experience. Made me decide to chance some things..might even do the carrot drink. *wink

LOL!

I actually had the Basic and Advanced Tae-Bo tapes and gave them to the local thrift store a few years ago.

On Sunday I bought them both - from the thrift store, plus 2 others! My sons friend is also selling me 5 DVDs of Billy Blanks Boot Camp.

My goal is to be down 40 pounds when I next see my husband. He loves me the way I am, but a comment from the woman who cooked for us the last time I was there won't leave the forefront of my mind. She was looking at my family photos and said, "Oh, your mom isn't fat like you." OUCH! I know she wasn't meaning to be hurtful but wow that stung! Anyways, I know slow and steady wins the race so 5 pounds a month is my goal.

I think maybe his girlfriend registered it in her name. Luckily this information these days is so easy to get.

The group he hangs around will find a way for him. But trust that his life is never happy because the true joy can't be got through deceipt and deception. There is always a cost to this lifestyle.

Chipsa.. I have some research to do on cars for my trial against my ex. During a mediation he stated he registered his car, but his sticker shows he registered it 2 months later. Plus he doesn't have his license. Who registers a vehicle when you can't have your license for not paying your child support.

Yah real smart.

I wonder if he got someone to help him or if he just took another person's sticker? To me its been an eyeopener the crimes that one can commit against another person and get away with it. I used to always do things by the book, and right now swear that if I decide to be underhanded, that I would be the one to get caught! blink.gif BTW. I have an idea now which city my car is in so we'll have to narrow it down to the address. I don't think mine would qualify to rent an appt. with his credit score, but I do know there're tons of "fellow countrymen" out there to sublet to him. Let's see where we go with this.

Good moring Sub,

I know some of you know that i have been going through custody/visitation battles with my son's father. 3 moths ago I had to stop the battle, let go and let god. It has been difficult time watchign my son go through anxiety, smelling like smoke, and personality changes that were yet to be desired. But at the hight of the battle, my ex had it looking like I was causing my son's problems. So I step back, agreed to traditional visitation arangements. Well once I was out of the battle it allowed him to show his true collors. Have party's at 5pm that go on all night while my son has school the next day. Picking him up from school and leaving town on a night my son has practice, but leaving him wth his roomate.

Yesterday I got my final answer to my paitience and trust in God. The Gaurdian Et LItem is going to request the court stop the overnight visits. This has been a true test to my faith. Everytime I think the madness is going to stop it kept going. So I thank GOD for my lessons through the process and guiding the GAL to making a choise that is in my son best interest.

Trust me when I say this battle is not done. We now will be going to trial, which scares me to death. But this just built my strength for the next battle.

That is my testimony for the day.
