K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	August 2008 Filers	Hi Everybody....... Just wanted to add some info for the NVC process........ I have received 3 letters with three different dates stating that they received my file and it would be sent to the embassy in one week......these were the 18, 19, and 23......so, anyway....I've called a few times and have been told as well...that it is in review and it is normal procedure....... So.....I was concerned because according to others' timelines, the cases were flying in and out of there within a few days.....but then I stumbled across a thread on here called "Stuck @ NVC".......I don't know how to put the link in here......after reading that, and now others on our August thread.....there just seems to be some kind of backlog or new procedure that many of us are going through right now..... So....what I have decided to do is check DHL tracking once a day.....you can usually check by 3:30pm eastern time for current day's info....put in the current day like everyone else has said......EXP 01 JAN 2009A.......gotta put the A, don't know why.....and then look to see what packages have gone out.......if I see one with my embassy, then I will call and ask if my case left.....other than that.....no need to call.....same info/different operator.....however, they are nice and the good thing is....they work until Midnight.....so call after 6pm eastern time to get through easier... So....hope this calms everyone's nerves.....no need to be stressed on the first day of this New Year.......the good news is....we will all be married within 2009 and with our loved ones forever!!!!! and besides......we gotta have something to talk about to keep this August thread going!!!!!	luvhasnoborders	Female	Rwanda	2009-01-01 11:56:00

They have now moved into July...although there are still some June's waiting. I read this thread often but don't know when to pop in and comment......you guys are really funny. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Oh c'mon! (Arrested Development reference)	So, the check was cashed! Yay! But... The number is EAC 08 + 7 other numbers. This adds up to 12 numbers, NOT the 13 needed to pull up our case. There is another number that is 10 digits long, but it is preceeded by X7. I doubt this is our case number. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	A little worried for our approval	Hello vj members!!!! Im just kinda worried about our noa2 if VSC will approve our petition. It is because i and my fiance met in person for only 3 days. It really bothers me a little even though we have complete proof about our genuine relationship. He just couldnt stayed here long coz he needed to go back in the US at that time because of his work. but we do have our pictures together, the hotel receipts, the boarding pass and his two way tickets. Is it really important about the days he stayed here for our case? Or as long as we have our proof it is ok? I hope somebody can give some good ideas about it especially those who got approved already... THANKS!!!!! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	My name is misspelled on the noa2 hardcopy	Hi guys!!! My fiance receives our NOA2 hardcopy today. I found out that they misspelled my name. My right name is Brendabeth but on the noa2 hardcopy it is Brendabet. I spelled it right when i filled out the G-325A. Do you think it would create a problem for our further processing?
