Yeah u can handle it. i knew how it felt and the excitement after the interview.But since cellphone is not allowed, then she can cross at the street and look for a phone and give u a call.and that calls for celebration.Were 3 that time and all went fine so treat ourselves with yellowcab in front of the embassy..eww...nerve cracking experience..but the interview itself is really easy.took 5 min or less.
Probably she is sitting down looking for her # to flash in the queueing board...
relax... she will be alright.

I agree with you PW.I think the embassy should be aware of that .The delay cause too much anxiety to the people waiting for it.I think the embassy have also a system that once they have done releasing your visa , they should have a tracking too that people can look at , just like the one where we can look for our interview.That will be great if they can do that.It cost alot to call them and you can get anything except an answering machine.

Anyway hope it will became better in the near future.Were on the new age , access to information is very essential...

Hi all. We (jackieadam and myself, and two other non-vj girls) finished with our interviews together today. we were in queue by about 430am, but only got in around 7 (which was okay.. that was our appointed time anyway. AND, because we were early and attentive, we were among the first 10 in the 7am slot). Some people inside the embassy are really mataray, but thankfully the prescreener, fingerprinter and consul were all nice.

The consul told me "Please wait til we call you again, good luck!". The same consul told my friend "Congratulations."
Now I'm paranoid. haha. I did pay the delbros thing, and the girl at window 37 did tell me "Everything looks okay.. for now. Just wait and see if your visa arrives." so I'm still hoping. Only one got AR, and she sort of knew it would happen because her st luke's test results didn't make it in time (she got her medical the day before!). 2 out of 3 companions isn't bad, so.. hopefullly it was actually 3 out of 4 people.

For now, I'd just like to think we got an OK :)

Hi update my case, Im approved. the question was easy and the consul was happy.Actually i saw Iya there when i heard Panlilio while waiting for finger scanning.But i was on the right wing of the room and so I just stay where i am at.
Saw one VJ member there boch (Jesse and Dyanne) and they also approved.
Thank God now take a deep breath ( sigh)

For those who are waiting , just relax , its not really hard as what we expect for.They dont even take a look at my other back up papers like emails and chat... And dont forget to pray :)

Yes i can relate to this...Made several inconsistent call , not to mention its 55Peso per minute for non informative answer.
But yeah takes PATIENT to deal with these people who should be giving us the exact info we are needed , not ripping us off. grrr...

First letter from Manila Embassy: dated 12/15/06 claimed petition arrival on 12/12/2006
02/05/07 Immigration Visa Unit notified my U.S. Congressman: Interview at end of 05/2007
02/13/07 personal call from U.S. Senator’s staff to expect Interview at end of 05/2007.
02/14/07 at 8:30PM CST read approval online at U.S. Embassy: :thumbs:
Since this government love messing with me, I plan to file action to strike down EMBRA: JUST FOR FUN.
Conclusion: The Manila Embassy staff was consistent in misleading U.S.Congressmen and U.S.Senators, I applaud them in being consistent LIARS.

She scoffed at me, then I told her the color of her clothing that she would be wearing to the Interview. She asked me how I knew of this outfit as she never wore in front of me. Go figure… haha :whistle: Please no fortune telling requests: Most psychics are fakes.

11/02/06 - Returned RFE Refused to answer their silly questions: Approve or deny with threats to sue. :devil:
11/15/06 - NOA2 Approved, but CSC thought I was fooling: HaHa
LIARS - NVC received
LIARS - NVC sent case to the consulate MNL2006845138 (I am not paranoid about my number) :devil:
12/12/06 - Manila received the case? NOTE: NVC and two groups in Embassy do not know??? :wacko:

dont worry but i now they didnt finsh AP yet, cos part AP no one know when it done or anything, the embassy only know and if done ? they will call you again ( this happen with me and i was waiting 200day to done this part, oh i forgot: they makeing two part ( AP then AR ) <---- Review, and after they finsh my AP & AR ? they call me to send my passport via DHL, so i was thing they send back with visa stamp ? but oh after 17 day ? they call me again to let me know i have 2rd interview in embassy 3th Feb <---(wish good ) they ask me to bring our pic's and letter and My BC, Marriage paper <---- this last one they didnt ask me first time,
so, dont upset and keep going cos Allah wont forget us

last week i made topic to let all know about my case
after 6 month in AP & AR they call me to send my passport via DHL, i send it fast and they got it next day at 5th Jan2009, i waiting and waiting till today, then at 11:30am i got call from embassy and they told me i have interview again at 3th Feb2009 7:30am, they ask me to bring my Org BC, pic's, letter & Email's, like the same i have first interview.

i m afraid and worry, can some one tell me what is going on ?

After 4 month in AP & 2 month AR ( ^ month and i think i was worry cos maybe i have to w8 long time to ? but after 6 month they call me 5th Jan 2009
to send my passport via DHL, i was very very happy and was gonna crying when they call me smile.gif, i send my passport the same day to US embassy, and waiting then waiting,
i was think they will back my passport and stamp the visa in but ? i waiting now and they didnt send it ? i was very worry and i sedn them email then after two day ? they answer me
they say (
Dear Sir:
The case needed further administrative processing. We will process the case to conclusion once that is completed. We regret we can not provide you with a time frame about the completion of the administrative processing as it is hard to predict.

Any male coming from Pakistan have to go through AP, in some very rare cases it could be for few weeks or months but you can't dodge AP. The average time for AP is six months, no ten months because when you would email embassy at pakivinfo@state.gov you would get a reply that you don't reply to emails about cases that are pending for less than ten months...

aserene20 did you see news yesterday, Al-Qaeda is plaining to attack US from Pakistan:President Obama. i am also one of the victim of AP and its over an year now for me. but i have accepted it with open mind (now, because whatever they are doing, they are doing to protect their country. if i was one of then i would have done the same. but its also true that they gotta do more work to make this system move faster). where there is a will, there is a way, as you have seen in FBI name check backlog elimination. i guess there is no will right now to reduce the AP period at embassy espicially at ISL.

K-3 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresVisa Approved !!!
good.gif Fully prepared Wil arrived early for his 1:30 pm interview. He had all the required documents and answered all of the interviewers questions. She was a very pleasant lady. Surprisingly Wil was quite calm and needless to say I was the nervous one waiting in the US at home for the results. The interview process took about 45 minutes and most of that was wait time. It was a very busy day at the consulate and things moved along quickly. Questions included ~ "tell me about your wife" and "your first time in the US". After confirming the information, and taking his fingerprints she smiled and said "I'm going to approve your application". Once Wil left the consulate he called and gave me the good news ... I cried crying.gif . Thanks to all who posted their interview experiences. It made all the difference in preparing for the next step forward good.gif .

:( Hello,
I hope someone can help me on what issue I am going through since last Friday (09/22/06)& I'm kind of little stressed.
I'm in the US & my Fiance Visa Petition got approved from CA Center & My Fiance has even recieved his packet 3& packet 4 information from the embassy of India, New Delhi.

On friday when he got his Medical Examination done - the doctor told him that his X-Ray is showing a spot due to his too much of smoking habbit & he has high blodd pressure as well.
My biggest concern nw is will the consular will consider these symptons seriously & can possibly DENY him in granting a VISA.
Some one plz reply me back because he has an interview scheduled in the first week of October 2006.

Any advices are welcomed.

Hi,
Does any one know that how much important it is to show engagement pictures at the time of interview.
My situation:
When I went to India in 2005 my fiance family arranged a small dinner @ his house only -so we actually didn't had a big or proper engagement ceremony & we didn't had any good pictures showing our engagements but we do have pcitures showing his family & my family together for that night.
But we did exchanged our rings but didn't took picture of that particular scene - because we never thought that we might will ever face this siuation in future where we have to show proof or give :unsure: this proof to any one that we both r engaged ---will n e one can tell me how will this effect my fiance interview or in getting a visa.

Please reply me as soon as anyoe can.
