How do I Prepare my documents??

Use paper clips for documents and for photos I put them in a zip lock bag and whole punched it so the could attach to file if they need to.

Interview tomorrow!

So its finally time. My wife has her interview at the London Consulate at 8am tomorrow (midnight my time). I can't even express how nervous we are. Have a few concerns here and there, but hopefully everything will go through, and we will finally be back together after almost a year and a half.

All that being said, thank you everyone for all the help and support. As you all know it is quite a tough process, and it will test your relationship to its core. For those still waiting for various stages of approval, keep strong. All will be well!!!

I have done my interview but confused!!

Hello guys,

I have done with my interview it just took few mins to finish it.Co did not asked me many questions.He checked few pics of us and emails.

It was just,

when u met ur wife?

is your wife still working?

Then he gave me a white paper the paper was a number on it there was a number of it but it was seems like a recipt with a white paper but i dont know it was an AP then he said that go to ups desk you will get ur passport in a week then he told me something but i did not understand so i told him can i ask a question? he said sure i asked him that if i am approved ? then he said something have a nice trip or have a nice visit OMG i was so excited i did not even understand lol..

I hope i m approved so confused right now...
what was the white paper i did not even get the number what was writing on the paper and ups worker also did not give it to me back

Hey Congratulation to you ofcourse it mean that you are approved :lol:

The co gave the white paper too and said go to UPS desk to fill for shipment so and that women who was fill did not give me back that paper back.So they will send us the passport with visa and one package with it, we do not have to open it, that package will be for the entry to US we will give it to the security there.So I am tracking my passport every day on US website LOL. :lol:

Hope soon we will get it.

Interview

I have an interviewe date at the ANkara embassy for my husband and i was wondering if we had to send an email ahead of time so that i was allowed inside with him. I read some reviews where they are not alllowed in and others that they are , or with a notification. Does anyone know?

My interview was in Ankara embassy too and we send them email before interview and ask if my Fiance can attend interview with me, they said that only benificiary can enter to the building.So for me they did not allow my fiance attend interview with me.

He can pay visa fee 350$ in any TEB brunch in any city of Turkey.The medical exam will not take long if his medical exam on Friday then he will get results on Monday if it in working days the will get on next day, the doctor will determine what vaccination he will need.

Hi Tuana and Kemal I had my interview in Ankara there have no any interview fee you perhaps mix with visa fee, visa fee is 350$ you have to pay to TEB bank and take your receipt with you on interview or they will not let you in.Regarding medical exam I paid 260 Turkish lira they accept Turkish lira as well.I don't know how much will cost his medical exam it depends what vactionstion he had already,so it can vary from 200 up to 700 TL. Hello there, here for support

Our NOA1 was Feb 1st and NOA2 was Oct 2nd, 2012 by VSC. No RFEs. We did contact the congressman, but not sure if that helped at all. & Filed a service request with USCIS as well. Again, it's just a waiting game. Hang in there!

One thing we missed was that we were so focused on NOA2, that we weren't very ready to move forward once it arrived. So I'd suggest finding out about documents you need for the Packet 3. Good luck!

My service request just finished the thirty days and it came back with backgrounds pending and as far as the congressional inquiry I was told to wait 45 business days for a response. I got lucky with a teir 2 rep yesterday that told me i was mistakenly on a administrative hold and put a request that is higher than a service request to get my NOA2 in five days. good luck you have been waiting longer than me i hope the best for you that something comes quickly.

Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion

Hi guys. Just want to put it out there that we are at 240 days after NOA1. We contacted the congressman last week and we didn't receive a reply from them yet. With USCIS, we were able to put a service request and fiance just received mail indicating that we need to wait 60 more days and if nothing, to inquire back. :wacko:

Anyhow, I left with nothing. My whole application from the day I sent it to the interview date took 2.5 months and now I'm stuck at the Oath stage when I see most of the people on this board take the Oath within 2-3 weeks after the interview max.

Any idea what the hold up may be and how long can it possibly take? Also, at the interview she didn't stamp APPROVED on my application, just gave me a N-652 (or whatever it is) saying that I was recommended for approval. Does it mean that it can still be pending supervisors final approval? What else can it be?

I'm really frustrated because I'd prefer not to travel between the interview and the Oath and I cannot make my holiday plans until I know I can get the passport before the end of the year. Any advices, opinions, theories will be highly appreciated!

It is sad that the USCIS can make people wait for no reason. It might be an officer's forgetting a detail or something similar, but it causes much strife on this side of the table.I hope they know that. I suggest you call the 'help-line' and say you do not have the receipt number. You just have the A number.I know I called several times without success (reaching IO) but called again.Yesterday I was finally connected to an officer.I think it is better than an infopass at times.And you should try that.Call center reps repeat their lines no matter what you say, and you should repeat the 'fact' that you do not have a receipt number and you have to talk to an officer about the status of your case.You can even tell them that you have no safe mail delivery, no mailbox etc. whatever it takes for you to reach an immigration officer.

Call your senator again, write him/her a letter and mail it (no email), if you do not receive a reply, write to the senate majority leader.Write to the president. You(we) have the right to petition the government even if you (we) are not citizen(s) yet.

I hope you receive your oath letter this week.

If it's lost in mail, maybe you need to go to infopass to get another copy. I saw from other thread that they maybe able to give you one in 3 days.
BTW, my oath letter came in very late, about 6 weeks after my interview. Maybe it was my fault that the IO thought I would be out of the country. Hope you didn't confuse the IO too.

Infopass is the only way.I got an appointment already.If my letter comes I am going to cancel it.

It seems to me that if the interview is done close to the end of a month, the oath is scheduled for not the next month, but the month after that. I am afraid it is like I said. Hopefully you get to take your oath in November, hopefully me too...

Still strange to me that the end stage has been the fastest and least painless on this journey (though I suppose it makes sense), but I'm still pinching myself to make sure it's real that I'm a USC now
