K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	November 2013 TSC Filers	our NOA1 is dated from nov 1st and still no NOA2. sigh.    it's taking its toll on me, and i don't really know why so i guess i'll just vent here can i?   i have a rent here until july so there is absolutely NO rush for me to go. on top of that, the longer we're apart, the more money we can save up so our lives together start in a more comfortable cushion. i also know that there is no evident reason for our case to be denied, we even have a sponsor to make sure that it's okay financially but i keep having those what ifs thoughts about details.    but it just drives me nuts. i'm getting super anxious about it even though, just like all of you, i can't do anything about it. hopefully i'll hear from our case before christmas. at least i get to see him for new years. i honestly don't know how i would've coped with the holidays alone on top of all that waiting.    i just have to deal with it.   I understand completely, taking the slow path good for us financially, start our life on stronger terms and help us in the long run. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	November 2013 filers?	just wondering if you had it expedited?  We filed on same dates and are waiting for NOA2.  Any insights will help Sorry for such a late reply and no we didnt apply for any expedites or such. I guess we just got lucky, stay strong.       Guys today i go on CEAC website and it says the following message:   READY Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section. If you have already scheduled an appointment for an interview, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the consulate on the appointed date and time. Otherwise, please wait until you have been notified of your interview appointment.     What i'd like to know is that how would they send packet 3 and packet 4 to my Fiance when they dont even have his e-mail address or any contact? We should be more realistic here and expect a 5 month wait period.. It has already been a month since my NOA1 almost so that means only 4 more at the most))   The officer was right to ignore other peoples approvals)) it is just so hard to do so when people come here and spam the board with a million dancing smileys about their NOA2 approval))))))   We will all get there eventually, just hang on tight and enjoy the day!!     I agree, time to focus on work. I certainly agree that if calling will give you peace of mind then you definitely should call.   To say however, that most filers in our group have been approved isn't quite accurate.  I ran a report showing all Visa Journey member's with timelines filed from 2013-11-01 to 2013-11-30 and there were 141.  All members within this time frame report having received NOA1 however only 35% (49) have reported receiving NOA2.  Again this information is provided by Visa Journey and is strictly contingent upon people updating their timelines so I have no clue what the margin of error is related to this information.   I know that for me it certainly felt like everyone in our group has been getting approved and hopefully the USCIS continues to speed up, but please feel somewhat at ease with the fact that you aren't alone and the process seems to be moving along at the pace outlined by USCIS if not a little bit more quickly.   How are you checking these stats? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	November 2013 filers?	Ahh!!   Hey Guys! Africa in the house... mostly because I have some bad news. Got a RFE *duh duh duhhhh*. I'm freaking out and perusing the web for info--- came across this great website and hope I can find some inside scoop and support here.   I was also a November filer. Below is my progress thus far.   Oct 2013 - Sent form I-129F sometime towards the end of October (not sure of the exact date) Nov 20 - NOA1 received Dec 13 - RFE mailed from Service Center   Whomp, whomp. Does anyone know if an RFE indicates they will make a decision sometime soon? I'm hoping and praying that once I send the evidence, whatever it may be, they'll be prompted to pay more attention to my case and make a decision soon.   Also, I'm currently out of the country (with my fiancé in Sierra Leone) and was wondering if anyone has some advice for making the most out of calling the service center-- for instance, how might I get through to an agent quickly, and is there any way they'll give me detailed info about the RFE by phone since I'm not home to check the mail? These long-distance calls are getting expensive. If anyone has suggestions, please let me know.       RFE isn't always bad. If its something small and not technical then it will most likely get accepted within a week after sending the response of RFE. My Fiance has just started working with Tulsa Courts (which strictly forbids the use of phone at workplace) and i have just started my own little Tourism Company. So its really hard to talk now since we're both from opposite timezones. I didn't mind waiting years as long as we talked everyday (like we used, even for 10s of hours at times) but now its just hard not being able to talk or anytihng at all. For communication we use Skype/Whatsapp. It just sucks that both of our work is limiting us to just 20-30 minutes of chatting/calling everyday. In few days you'll get a message from them saying they will be the one going to follow up ur petition from uscis.. Just like wat happened tp us.. Or instead inquiry direct follow up to nvc research center.. Its more fast their process to locate ur petition good luck to us   did you seriously get approved in just 11 days? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	November 2013 filers?	hi my fiance sent out our petition on 26th October 2013 to the Texas service center and we received our NOA1 on 30th October 2013. we got our NOA2 on 15th November 2013. Now we are waiting for the case number to proceed. I joined both the October and November filers. anyone has any idea when the nvc will assign a case number?   The usual wait time is 4-6 weeks but i see you are already surpassing it but due to USCIS approving cases faster than they can send it to NVC the wait time for getting a case number is getting bigger.   After carefully reviewing September and October filers topic i notice a trend from USCIS, "accept/deny application fast and then take your time with sending the file to NVC" hopefully you get assigned soon,do let us know when you get ur Case number assigned. Between us we have gathered EVERYTHING we can just in case, many of you may think overkill but we both agreed it's better to have and not need than need and not have!   Folder 1 (Front of document pack):   Interview Letter (To show before entering embassy) Signed MRV Receipt (To show before entering embassy) Passport and 2 Photo Page Photocopies (I know it says you don't need this but just in case) US Sized Passport Photos (I know I only need two but I have 8 just in case!) K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	November 2012 filers	Does anyone know that we need to do the all vaccines in one day? And if we want to do another vaccine then we have to wait for 28 days to 30 days to do another vaccine? I just found that out today in a hospital when i asked the Varicella vaccine, they didn't want to do it because of that reason, workers there said that if we don't wait for 28 days to 30 days then the vaccine will not work at all. I don't understand why the clinic didn't say anything about the length of vaccine injection. I'm a bit upset now!!! Because how come they didn't explain to me about it, i don't want to spend my money to do things that wouldn't work to my body system! And it means i need to wait until July 28 to inject that Varicella vaccine!   From what I've read here on VJ, you don't need the vaccinations at all (if you don't want) until AOS... so if you're afraid about it affecting your interview, you'll be fine... you'll just need the DS-3025 from the doctor for AOS and get the vaccinations when you're in the US and get documentation of it from a civil surgeon... not an expert but i have read that in one of the guides on VJ.	candiizz	Female	Canada	2013-07-11 18:13:00
