Does that mean it was approved and being forwarded to NVC... I am trying not to get too excited in case it was a fluke with the website, because this was really fast... I can't stop shaking, I am so excited but I am trying not to get ahead of myself! Someone please tell if this is really what this means!

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsWaiting for a NOA2 from CSC for your I-129F?
Im in favor of posting in areas that are relevant to the subject (having said that) I have freinds that were married abroad, even had a child born there and had a very difficult time getting their Spousal Visa. Its not easy on any of us applying for any type of Visa involving bringing someone to the usa and have it approved. We all here I believe have legitimate reasons 'love, happiness' in why we have filed in the first place. Despite what anyone may say about our relationships at any time, I wish all here success and a speedy approval. And much more happiness when our future spouse or 'spouse' arrives.

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresTension & Depression over seperation
QUOTE (Nutty @ Oct 24 2007, 12:07 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
My husband and I are going the the CR-1 visa process. We're at the point where we are waiting for the case to be transferred to the Embassy.

It's been a long and difficult time for both of us. Even though we stay in contact almost daily.

For me it is especially hard...I recently relocated back to the US and have started from scratch over the past 10 months. Finding an apartment, a job...All part of the immigration process. But my attachment to living in the US is zero. This really isn't my home (in my heart). Strange to hear this coming from a born and raised American.

So sometimes, I find it incredibly hard to keep going. And often I wonder if my husband really knows how unhappy I am here.

Well, let me say this to you my freind. If you will notice the small banners below, you will see that it hasnt been easy for us either. I feel exactly as you do, when it comes to not finding peace, contentment here anymore without my baby. My heart as I have said so many times to Jenny, is there, with her. Its almost like I left it when I boarded the plane to return here.

I havent started over here, but its very lonely, I miss her so much. Its a long process for everyone here, to say the least, and my prayers (our prayers) will be with you.

The line in our timelines which states "...your I129f may be adjudicated as early as...", does this date estimate when we might receive the visa, or when it might be passed on to the embassy, or what? Thanks

Is the estimated date for the approval of your I-129F PETITION not the visa. Once you get NOA2, the message will no longer appear and instead the message will say: Your I-129f was approved in ____ days from your filing date.

And this is a wait whistling.gif but I certainly appreciate this information posted here. Clarity is invaluable.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresRecieved - Notice - Priority Date(s)
QUOTE (spidergirl @ Oct 15 2007, 03:01 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
The receipt date is June 6th ( thats the date the receive your petition), They send NOA1 on August 8, 2007(this is the actual date they sent your Notice). I can't find any problem with that, the date is not a problem the important number is your case number. Just relax, dont' stress yourself they are already processing your case. Good luck.

ok, the NOA1 that was finally recieved was a "Replacement Receipt Notice", somehow the original didnt make it to my address. And my address was correct in every detail. So this date is a date that doesnt actually reflect when the actual notice was originally sent. I suppose that was all I was trying to say.

Yeah, I dont need to be stressed....its not easy though. THANKS

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresRecieved - Notice - Priority Date(s)
We filed June 1st '07 - They recieved it June 6 '07 in TCS and it was forwarded to CSC ( now this gets confusing) We were sent an original I-797 NOA1, but never recieved it in the mail and so I called USCIS & State Senators office and found out that it was "originally mailed soon after it was recieved but never arrived here" this is from CSC, the reason I know this is because we were assigned already a Case# prior to 8/28/07.

What I did was go online and make sure my address etc. were correct (and it was) 1) I checked case number first. 2) created an account at USCIS (recommended by a uscis customer service person).

So, then finally the NOA1 was received here . But is marked 8/28/07 for the notice date (????)

I suppose really my question is will they use their original date mailed for the NOA1, whatever that was, or use the 8/28/07 a the actual notice date of the NOA1?

Thanks..just going crazy here is all wacko.gif

QUOTE (TinTin and Samby @ Oct 16 2007, 12:17 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Hi all,

I went to my bank today to get my I-134 Affadavit of Support notarized. It has been many years since I have had to get something notarized. According to 2 different notaries at the bank, they no longer use an embosser. Today, according to them, everything is simply stamped with an InkPad Stamper. (Of course this is in addition to their written signature and date.)

Has anyone else experienced this: getting documents notarized without a raised (embossed) seal? Anyone ever have any problems with US Embassys questioning the authenticity of these kinds of notarizations?

Thanks for your input.

Yes recently this past year I have had a few documents (legal) that were not embossed, just ink stamped. Must be acceptable and the norm now...but Im like you I expected the embossed style.

Im so ignorant when it comes to this process sometimes (procedures) but, what number do you call? The 800 number at uscis always takes me to the voice recordings process and so I stopped calling completely. May I ask for the number you call to 'actually' speak with someone? A touch would be better than silence.. wacko.gif Although trying everyday to be very patient.

And congratulations on your approval!! lest I become selfish and forget.

Also, can we attach/or do we have to any other information (describing insurance documents and their total)? Is it needed?

For the interview (soon) we will have phone records & phone card purchase proof, cell phone proof of calls, emails over a period of time and most recent, cards from eachother & letters, many pictures, also western union sent & recieved proof. We have probably over 500 emails but sent ones over a period of time, as well as the other proof requested.

We probably went a little over board, but, they will have proof of our ongoing relationship.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresDivorce Decree
You will need all divorce decrees and marriage licenses, there are no exceptions, (you can make copies of these when sending with the forms for initial filing) however, you 'will' need the orginals from the state or states you have been married & divorced in to be sent to your fiance' for the interview to aquire the visa.

If he doesnt have the originals, then contact the county where he was married/divorced. You can order copies of the originals with the state seal etc. and those acceptable from the county/state.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresProof of Relationship
Well, you wouldn't send money to someone you don't know, don't have a relationship with, or don't trust? That's all i am trying to point out here. I would hope that anyone filing any papers to bring anyone here to the USA would make sure in their hearts that its legitimate before they even visit another country, which if we are judging motives here, is really not proof either that a relationship is legitimate, yet is one of the requirements as proof.

I am sure that in some countries a SO ( a Fiance') has the financial capability to pay the cost on their end for all that has to be accomplished when filing a K1, and the flight after approval of a K1, however, in some cases when bringing someone from some other countries, this is not true. The cost for flights to and from an embassy, hotels, printing, documents needed and loss of time at work for some is a challenge financially. Also, the cost to make calls from other countries, and internet cafe's can be expensive for some. Even a stamp or writing paper is burdensome for those that financially take care of their families first before themselves or their own needs.

Having a little spending money sent as proof also of a relationship, is no harm. It, in my opinion, also shows you have the financial capability to take care of someone, whether here or there in their country. Which is a G325 requirement, more proof.

We successfully have gone through this process without any RFE's, request for more evidence as proof. Thats all I know.
DavidandJennyMalePhilippines2008-09-22 09:01:00
K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresProof of Relationship
If that is all you have to show as 'evidence' then.... not a good idea. Our packet though included western union receipts (email confirmations over a period of time from western union numbering about 10-15) NOTE: As well we had, pictures-letters-emails-chats-cards-receipts from the trip there, phone records.

The way I (we) looked at it, a relationship is more than letters & pics....it also involves time & money, sacrifices made. JMHO
