Hi, I guess every country is diffrent, I did my package 3 for my k3 visa this week and I got all the forms they sent me but the only ones I had to send back to them was the DS-230 and a check list that had to be signed and sent back to them to set up my interview date. Thank you ;( I am sorry that happond to you, I was given bad info about my k3 visa as well. You will have to apply for a I-130, there is also an I-129 but the diffrence with the both of them is that the I-129 is a few months faster than I-130. But the the I-129 is more costly. I went with the I-129 and when I got to the States I still had more paper work and money to spend. If your income exceeds 125% of the povertyline when counting yourself, prospective immigrant and any dependents, then don't bother with assets (401K, Bank balance, Stocks etc..), it is just extra un-needed data to provide, the consular officer is most concerned with INCOME. Hi my I-130 and I-129 was approved on the same day. I want to go k3 because it is faster, should I not bother with any forms or bill they send for I-130???? Or do I still have to pay stuff and do paper work in the states???? And your advice on what have to be done whenI gat to the states to complete paper work for Green card. Help Please. My husband don't mind paying extra for k3, I on the other hand was wondering if we are making a mistake. I am seeing most people saying that k3 is a longer more expencive process when you arrive in the US.
