IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsAt NVC stage, never received NOA2 letter, should i worry?

My I-130 was approved June 17, uscis said they mailed out NOA2 notice to my foreign address next day which i have never received to date.

 

However my case file has been shipped to NVC, ive paid the IV and AOS fee and sent their packets to NVC too.I also received the ds 3032 at my foreign address.

 

Should i be concerned in getting the actual NOA2 letter by calling uscis? i do have an email(case status update) from uscis when it was approved and later the next day shipped to NVC / DOS for visa processing.

 

i am just wondering coz i have seen some people mention if there are issues at nvc stage you need to scan and send the NOA2 notice letter, i however did not have any issues yet. NVC wouldn't need your NOA2 because they can look that up for themselves

 

or i dont need to be concerned since i am already past the initial stage? If you already paid your NVC fees why be so concerned about the NOA2

My co-sponsor was retired and they recieved social security but its different from SSI there is different types of social security. My co-sponsor they wasnt required to file taxes because they are not working but they got a tax transcript of their SS payment to that effect also we used their bank account statement which shows the amount of money in his account. Let me inform you if both of their names is on that bank account the spouse wife will have to do a I-864a the husband will do I-864 as well. Trust me, my husband had to make another appt. to bring that info back in.

Not really because ours was on ready and went to A. P DEC 1, AND VISA WAS ISSUE DEC,2 call dos this eve because on Dec 2 in the morning the ceac Web was showing A P, so i call dos and the lady told me her system show it was issued, but it wasn't issued out yet because it was waiting to be printed and stamped, and later on that day ceac Web change to issue, good luck

You were right it has been issued

WELL THE FIRST TIME I CALLED, THE LADY TOLD ME TO NOT TRUST WHAT THE CEAC WEB IS SHOWING, BECAUSE THERE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE SYSTEM , SO I ASK HER HOW OTEN SHOULD I CALL TO CHECK, SHE TOLD ME TO CALL EVERY DAY, I TOLD HER I DONT WANT TO BUG YALL EVERY DAY, SHE TOLD ME THATS THEIR JOB, SO I CALLED ONCE EVERY DAY.

ok will do that exactly. call everyday until. thank you

Well our case went from AP to ready for interview on November 26 and today December 3 its still says ready the status date chage. I called DOS and they say its still pending but everything looks good. How often do you (a person) call DOS to check on the status?

LOL is it now or in 7-10 days?!!  Sometimes I hate the incompetence on here.  Sorry, but it is confusing instead of helpful.

Apparently she got the DHL waybill yesterday (who's incompetent) maybe you are confuse and its always helpful.  From what my hubby and  me has been through I know. So dont try and (CHECK ME BOO)
