Document requirements Please obtain the original documents or certified copies from an appropriate authority (the issuing entity) for yourself and each family member who will accompany you to the United States. All documents that pertain to your petition are required, even if they were previously submitted to the BCIS with your petition I imagine as you are sending the original certified copies to NVC plus they also have them from the initial petition that it will not be necessary to have certified copies again for the interview. On the other hand I am required to have original certified copies for the interview as I am only required to submit the DS-230 Pt I which only requires me to send in biographics page of my passport to NVC. I made an error by sending my original birth and divorce in initial package to USCIS. I realize you think you got info from a reliable source, so I'll encourage you to research this. It's been well-documented that use of whiteout can cause more problems than it can cure. Lawyer typically cross out the information (so that it can still be read) and write in the correction above/below. My policy: Don't Use WhiteOut. I sent in the I 864 and the biographical data with all required document and NVC put it in their system on the 21 of april. How long for them to review the documents and send interview appointment? IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	K3 & returned for CR1 interview	I did post briefly in the London Embassy forum after my interview, but we arrived home last night after our trip to England so am posting here now!! The CR1 interview was easy pretty much the same as my K3 interview, my interview was on a friday, and i got my passport back on the saturday morning, which was pretty fast!! I entered Chicago POE yesterday it took them about 5 minutes to process me with no problems & now i'm done with immigration for 2 years -90days YAY! We are going through London embassy at this point, all of us out of NVC. Surely someone can give you the email address to the consulate you will be going through, don't know why you can't also call the number euro posted above for the Dept of State. dept of state ?? I could call nvc no prob, but would expect a answer telling me they have 8 weeks to give us the interview date. so the simple question was - that we canadians do not have e mail access UNTIL case is at montreal for CR-1. US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	Got Packet 3 from Montreal today	but on my coverletter they sent it says Preference catergory : K-3 canadain and the box on the 230 is blank. question 7 on the checklist is the military record my i130 hasn't been approved yet though IT IS NOT FOR THE IR-130. that is sent from NVC.
