Received NOA2 hardcopy today, well technically yesterday (Thursday). Hopefully they have transferred off my case to NVC or will do it soon. I'm remaining patient though.

I'm exhausted and so happy that the week has is coming to an end. I need to catch up on the thread, but that will have to wait until tomorrow. *yawns* Goodnight guys, I will check in tomorrow.

Mrs. P your case was approved on feb 25th count 10 to 15 days after that date .....you can call everyday if you want but be patience god is with us.

Oh for sure. I'm actually not as anxious as I was waiting for the NOA2. I have so much going on outside of this that is keeping me busy and my mind less on my NVC #. I do hope it comes in two weeks though, after that period I can't promise I'll be patient anymore..lol.

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresCalifornia to Texas & Texas to California - Part 2

Not that easy :P
Call NVC 603-334-0700
use Automatic voice first and enter your USCIS # if not found
enter 5 and talk to operator. It generally gets assigned after 1-2 weeks after NOA2 hardcopy!
Good Luck

Well this answers my question...Thanks.

Called AVR again today...my case still isn't there. Technically I'm still in the black hole. When do they ship our cases off?

I'd call the AVR if I were you every day and then an operator again on Friday.

If the AOS is appearing in the payment portal, pay it. Don't wait. I never got any emails about paying bills. If you wait, you're going to be waiting a very long time.

I went ahead and called NVC last night just for the heck of it. The AVR had no record and I spoke with a CSR and no record, he said I need to wait on the email/mail stating it's been transferred to NVC before I call because that's when they will have received.

However, because of VJ I know that is a piece of bull he's serving me, because the whole system is *ss-backwards. I'll call maybe the end of the week or next.

These dumb emails are still being sent out, now they are claiming to have sent cases back to TSC? Is this some kind of game?!? I truly don't think it's anything to be worried about, but then again having been through what we have, it keeps us on edge. We just don't know what to think!

I have a question. Do I have to wait for an email stating they have transferred our case to the Department of State before calling NVC? I know I just got approved on Friday so I was thinking to give it a week or so before I called...is that good?

That blue ball is doing a lot of dancing around today!!! It better just get right back to Post-decision activity and stay put!

I truly feel that none of us should worry. It's some kind of technical glitch error and I'm hopeful everyone will see it corrected in the next few days.

I'm here catching up on posts....

What the heck is all this demoting form Post-Decision Activity to Initial Review status???? What is the problem? They need to get it together!!!

I'm wondering if a certain troll is behind this mess....he did say he had these type of powers...

No, but for real, I hope it all gets rectified very soon!

I wanna have my Carlton dance too :crying:
So sick & tired of this waiting :crying:

I know! You received an RFE for your daughter right? Did you correct the error yet?

I'm still in complete shock. Hubby is so happy as well! When I got the email my son ran out the room when I was screaming and gave me a weird look and said "ssshhh...I'm watching my movie" (an almost 3 year old btw..smh).

I hope that many others receive their approvals and any corrections to any confusion (celldoc), as well as NVC #'s. For those with RFE's hang on, just take the steps needed to rectify whatever, and you will be in smooth sailing...I want us all to get out of this black hole!!!

Goodnight to all! *does the Carlton dance*

Oh Celldoc. I have no clue what these idiots are doing, but I hope to see them rectify things ASAP. It's probably just a silly mistake on their part. They really do bring us up high and low emotionally. Very confusing.

I'm sure my griping wont be over. As we see that the NVC stage can be another headache.

I don't know how to search through the VJ forum for people whose timelines parallel mine. I mean, how the hell does one search for such a complex timeline? I130 and 129F in "Initial Review", then both in "Post Decision Activity", then both back to "Initial Review", then both back to "Post Decision Activity" with dual approval emails, then the I129F going back to "Initial Review".

I do not have enough profanity in my vocab to express myself.

Exactly.

It's not possible to inflict any harm on you solely with this number. Still not a bad idea to ask an admin to delete it.

Honestly I have to say that I'm a tad annoyed. Actually I'm very much annoyed and just pissed off at this point. No updates!! LIKE COME ON!!!!!!!!!! Where are the approvals!!!

Looks like everybody got their NOA-2 approvals and this forum is dead now. I am the last man standing. No NOA-2, no touch :whistle:since Nov.30, 2010, doing fantastic, pushing 7 months of wait. No worries. It will come when it will come. I will let myself know I got it on this forum and write a dozen of responses to myself with CONGRATULATIONS.

*waves* I'm still here. I did have touch on the 11th, and Angela Barrows told me that my case was on an officer desk at CSC on the 11th as well. Yet, no further updates. So you are definitely not alone. It will be 7 months next week since I received NOA1.

I dreamt last night that I went to the office and spoke with Mr. Badger and he assured me that my case was already approved and forwarded to NVC and would be expedited. I was thrilled...if only this dream was true.

Congrats to the recent approvals and those who received NVC #'s!! We have seen some light showers, but I would love to see a down pour of some activity!!

By the way. No more cad_bacon, and I actually didn't want Mrs. P, but it was late and I wasn't paying attention to the name change rules, so ya, I'm stuck with this for now.

Here's to Thursday being a day filled with good news!!

I sent in one affidavit and our son's birth certificate. I didn't send photos or anything else.

I'm starting to worry that maybe I should have sent in more :S

For all those who haven't received an NOA2, did you send 2 affidavits to show the marriage is bona fide? Cause some of us who received an RFE was cause we didn't send affidavits or show any mutual accounts, property, lease, etc. I don't want to get anyone nervous but I have a feeling the longer the wait the higher the chance of receiving an RFE :(

Hey guys,

I've been taking a break for VJ. I've been in and out of the forum just reading and not commenting. I felt down in the dumps last week and decided to just relax and let things take its course.

Congrats to all those who have heard good news in the past days as far as approvals and receiving NVC #'s.

I dreamt last night that I received an RFE...horrible nightmare. I hope it doesn't come true, I just want this to be over. I'm praying that this week will be filled with a lot more good news as we are nearing the end of the month.

Anyways, just popping in to say hello. Be encouraged everyone we will get to the other side of this soon enough :)
