protest6wz.gif girlwerewolf2xn.gif Its amazing, just speechless. February for VSC was August 19, 2007, today it was changed to July 30. #######!!!!! People in October have received their NOA2 already so this is very confusing. I can not wait to go on to NVC.

Thanks for the replies and all the advice.
Thanks to Credzba and your situation doesn't make me feel better because I understand what it feels like being away from your love.
Truth is, I am genuinely happy when someone passes their interview at the consulate, however, I am deeply hurt when someone does not acquire their visa.
That is why I like this website, people are here to help and make this journey less stressful, and I truly appreciate that.
Ms. Z- lol

Good luck and to all, stay blessed

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresVENTING
Hey again to all,

Today my husband left Toronto to go back home. I am totally sad and it breaks my heart knowing that we are not going home together, kind of like that bitter-sweet. I loved that we were together celebrating our child's first birthday BUT he is gone and the process begins again for me.

I cant begin to explain how frustrated I am, as I am sure most are here, but the hope fades more and more and I start becoming VERY negative, thinking that this day that we will be a happy family will never come.

Months ago we spoke to a USCIS Rep and as I was quitely breaking down over the phone the "ASSURED" me that the point of USCIS is not to split families apart, but to bring them together. Ha, at that point I had to chuckle because, its quite the contrary--I know people on here that could not continue their relationship/marriage- I feel for them.

I am pissed and tired and I apologize for venting here, but there is no better place!!!

Thanks to all who listened and may light be with us on these dark days.

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresQuick Question
Hey Vjer's,

I created an account under the USCIS Case Status Online and I would like to know how is it possible to tell whether or not your case was "touched". I know that it may not be anything significant anyway, but at least it would make me feel a little better.

All it says is that our case is received and pending. Can someone please veer me into the right direction.

FYI- Unfortunately, I know there are a couple of people who filed before me and still have not received their approval- we continue to pull our hair out too. Good luck to us all

Just so you have an idea, I am still one, and MANY before me, that have not received their NOA2. I filed mid-OCtober- we have been waiting +180 days so I know it is easier to say, but patience/driving oneself crazy is only thing that we can do- better to chose patience, no?

Hey J&D,
I would believe that if Delicia's spreadsheet was reflecting what the USCIS rep said, however, I watched as the NOA2 slowly fill in with the approvals up until August 21st. It is just hard to believe is all i am saying. Check out Delicia's page

Well I TOTALLY understand where you guys are coming from. I have been waiting since OCTOBER 16th and I have heard NOTHING AT ALL.
As much as I am happy for those people who have moved on in their journey, I am EXTREMELY frustated that I can not be with my husband and son as a family. His dad has missed so much of his first year.

Hey KIMF

I, too, filed in mid-October and have yet to hear a thing!!!! I actually have our son with me- my MOther-in-law has yet to lay eyes on her only grandchild although he was born in the US. It is very hard to live like this- especially when there are people that have filed 4 or 5 months ago and have received an approval. I guess all we can do is pray and hope this month otherwise I dont know what I will do.

I wish you all the best throughout your pregnancy and of course the journey as well

All we can do is wait
Peace

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresI-130 Q21. Last address we lived together...
Hi VJers,

My wife and I just got married on June 19th (YAY! biggrin.gif ) and are filling out the forms required for the CR-1. On the I-130, question 21 asks to list our last address where we lived to together. Unfortunately, we have yet to live together so my question is will this hurt our application? Secondly, the G-325 asks for an alien registration number. I don't have one. Do I leave this blank?

Thanks for the help all. Super excited to start the process and looking forward to being reunited with my hunny!

Hey FF, were you nervous sending it out? I'm fedexing mine tomorrow, and I'm sooo nervous! I think I'm just afraid I'm going to make a mistake. I'm having two coworkers going thru my 130 and 325A forms tomorrow. I have exhibits, binders, etc...to throw in. It'll be a big box!

I was definitely nervous FL! I've read many threads here about folks having to deal with RFE's etc and dread going through the same thing. I reviewed the packaged countless times and got some friends to look it over as well. Crossing my fingers smile.gif

Holliday, that's a great suggestion and will definitely help pass the time until the NVC process begins.

Hi All,

I am excited to say that my wife and I have begun our "Visa Journey" and this forum has been a great help to us so far and I'm sure that will continue in the months to come. biggrin.gif

Just received our NOA1 yesterday good.gif and our excitement levels are off the charts making the process seem incredibly slow.

Looking forward to posting some more as our application progresses.

Thanks everyone!

Hi VJ,

On the DS-230, question 25 asks to list all previous visits to the US. As a Canadian, I have visited the US countless times and only remember the most recent ones. How do I go about answering this question?

Thanks for you help.

Frequent Flyer

Hi, I just asked this question a few days ago. The general response was to list the most recent ones, using an extra page if you have to.

I listed the four times that pertain to this particular visa.

Also, on the type of visa column, just put "N/A" since we don't technically require a visa to visit.

Great! Thanks for the help Wyatt's Torch!
