Just recieved this reply from my guardian angel Angela :innocent:,

"Your case is with an officer at CSC as I write this, so you should receive a decision soon. Hope this helps."

I will take this "soon" and shutup. I need to just have patience. They screwed up big time, but they are obviously making extreme efforts to get us along!

But....still...can I get a response to my email??? lol

I'm worried I didn't write it correctly. I didn't state myself as the beneficiary or state my husband's name in it. I just put the receipt number and expressed my concern and put my name at the end.

Would this cause her to ignore my email?

Me to Fermat, just emailed her, first email that we ever sent. Let me now when you will have the answer.

Me three...a fe hours ago and no response from her yet. I however have had some touches, so I don't want to go crazy. It is evident that she is working to help many of us out. I don't want to harass her....just yet. lol.

hi, i am in the same situation living like a single mother for my two sons, a 3-1/2 and 10 months old. and my husband has not even seen his new baby :(. my NOA1 is July 16th. I really feel that this nightmare is about to end, so let's all keep being postive, and PRAY :)

We are >here<. Keeping praying indeed!

I emailed Barrows. I want to see what she is going to say, if she responds at all. This is all confusing. Like I said the last time I ended up at a USCIS office I was buried for three months, now again at a USCIS office? I took a look at my son this morning and just felt sad that my husband misses out on everything. Not to mention, living like a single mother is hard. I'm tired and overwhelmed at times. This process just needs to hurry its way along. My patience has run thin, I've been doing this long distance thing for a very long time. Frankly, I'm over it, and so is our bank account!

I still will remain positive today and just keep reminding myself that God has the best in store.

I hope we see some further action this Friday!

I think we're fine here. I see no reason to split the thread.

I agree, we have all been through this together and continue to support each other no matter who is moving off to CSC or to NVC.

Heck, we've been cell mates for the past three months...let's just keep within this thread. I'm comfy here. lol

Thanks.

Does it matter if it's the beneficiary or petitioner who emails?

A ray of hope for you.

Waiting4dlord got an email to say he was transferred to CSC yesterday, and he MAY have got the second email also. 4 hours later he was approved after he sent an email to the TSC director.

Send an email Angela.Barrows@dhs.gov and explain your situation - tell her what you just told us on the forum. I think the files are all still at TSC, if you catch it in time, you may get approved instantly like waiting4dlord did.

I would mail her now if I were you. Posted Image

When emailing should we put the receipt # in the subject field?

The last time we ended up in a uscis office...we were buried for three months!! Let's hope that we are on someone's desk and getting approved later today. Surely some good is to come.

I have to keep my head up.

Wow, almost 5 more pages to go through........

As stated earlier today, I had an interview with Cindy Carcamo of the Orange County Register about this whole USCIS screw up. The paper took an interest in my story due to my sons health condition. The interview was much longer than I expected, probably because she was "old school" and took notes on a note pad, she did a lot of writing, LOL

I provided her with a copy of the Alert that was posted on USCIS website the other day, all pertinent emails for everyone that I had contacted at USCIS and other documents from USCIS. All in all about 3/4 in thick!!

She took interest in how my Congressman had basically ignored my plea for help, I threw him under the bus big time. Someone that I previously met many years ago and HAD respect for. He lost quite a few votes due to his inaction.

I provided her a link to this thread a few weeks back and she has been here reading.

I brought up waitingonthelords specific situation and Rachel's roller coaster ride yesterday and today.

The article will be in print and online soon, she was not able to give me a specific date but assured me it would be published. I am about to send her some pictures to include in the article, she wants a wedding pic and some other misc pics.

As soon as the article is posted online, I will let you guys know. Although we have some traction now, it would be advisable to comment on the story when it is available.

Good luck all!!

Woot Woot! Alright, Sgt Wade! I would say that was a success. Can't wait to see this article. As I said last night, thanks for being a voice for all of us!

If you view it as a whole, even an approval is no guarantee at TSC. It's taking at least 30 days to get an NVC case number.

Take a look at Saylin as an example of the streamlined way in which CSC deals with the I-130's. It's my guess the officers have been told simply to APPROVE, and then steer you through to NVC. You may be up there before the TSC crowd.

smh. I can't believe they are even taking long to give NVC case numbers! When are we ever in the clear???

Man we still have to encourage each other and remain positive until the day of our interviews...not even that...when we have our official visas in hand, nope not even that, when we reach the POE and get on the plane...ONLY THEN will I believe anything!

This time he kicked out Oct filers and added Jan into his concerned list

What is this character up to. I responded to him last night. Did I fall into his trap?

I feel so badly for everyone (including myself and my dear wife in Indonesia (Lanny). But maybe something good will come out of this. Lets all not lose faith and we will turn to Him for comfort, believing that he has our best interest at heart although it is certainly hard to see it now. But I am sure that He does. (the Lord). He will dry out tears!

Yes! This is so true! I need to snap out of it. God knows what's good and everything happens in his time. Thank you for this reminder. I need not doubt the one who is in control and always delivers!

I got transferred today .. NOT WHAT I WAS EXPECTING...man.. my email says is Initial Review.. we are probably have to wait another 4 months.. not fair.. I got an expedite.. my daughter is about to loose her therapies.. man I am so mad.. after 214 days I get transferred again??? tomorrow I will email Barrows because today she sent me a message that she was going to look into my case.. for WHAT to transfer it... ughhh

You need to email Barrows tomorrow and let her know!!! Your case needs to be approved. I totally forgot about your daughter's therapy. This is just ridiculous. On the one hand I feel better knowing that my file isn't sitting in some basement with rat feces all over it, but on the other hand, I just want to see the word "approved". I just hope we don't have much longer to wait. :help: :help:

That's the same thing hubby said. I need to take the good out of all of this for real, but I know you guys know how annoying this run around is. CSC to TSC back CSC like it should of never got to this.

Just found out I was touched yesterday. Even though I'm subscribed to get an email notification, I didn't.
So I have no idea if this touch means we've been sent back to CSC or if they are approving us? I need that email notice to find out exactly what is happening to our case right?

Not every touch gets a notice with it. I believe only the significant ones, like transfers or approvals, or RFE's would get an email/text sent out AND that is NOT always the case as we have seen on this site...just like not every approval will show touches prior to the date of approval.

I too got a touch yesterday along with a few others. We just have to sit tight until further notice I guess. *shrugs*

WOW, Congrats!!

So how does it go from being lost yesterday to getting approved and forwarded to NVC?

I was talking to hubby last night about this and his take on it is that they just feed us bull...they just say things to stall time and fix all their screw ups!

Just because they are approving people they think we will forget about all their misleading info and mishandling of this whole process. Sure we will all be happy to be approved, but what about all the stress caused and unnecessary time lost because of their stupidity? It's quite frustrating. I feel it for some of you even more than myself, (like you Wade) who have been just given the run around non-stop and have serious issues going on with their loved ones and need this process to move as quickly as possible.

What's the point in offering expedites in the process when they actually don't expedite. smh...boggle my mind

Just got the followin email from Officer Garza:

"Thank you for your inquiry. This case is not lost. It shows to be in transit to the unit where it will be reviewed. If any additional information is needed, you will be notified."

Funny, I did not get a transfer notice to CSC. Maybe I will later today.

Why did you think your case was lost?

We filed our petitions the same day however, you got your NOA1 soooo fast compared to me. I remember thinking they lost my paperwork as well. I didn't get any notification until August 4! Maybe it was a sign of more waiting to come for me. :(

fate of Oct/Nov filers due to TSC to CSC transfers? Isn't it sad if these Oct and Nov applicants get delayed further?

It's sad for anyone to be getting delayed in this process outside of the time that is estimated to us. However, over here in this thread we have June and July filers (possibly a late May filer, I'm unsure) who have not been approved or JUST got approved tonight. I have not yet been approved myself (Mid July filer) and to be honest I thinks it's sad for any of us summer filers to be delayed any further over October and November cases who are still within the time range given.

Overall, I don't wish any stress or headache on the next, I wish this process could be smooth sailing for us all, as we are missing our spouses and children and just the life that we want to live.
