K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Can I add additional information to my RFE?	Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows if it is OK to include other items in my response to a RFE. I will, of course, provide the documents they are asking for. However, I would like to send in some additional evidence. (When I initially applied, I had not found this wonderful web site so I was not aware that I should be including lots of proof our long term relationship.) Hi, I filed our K-1 fiance visa; NOA1 dated 8/30/12.  Our RFE was received on 3/14/13; Then we were notified that on 4/17/13, they received our response to the RFE...and so we continue to WAIT. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	NVC	Hi, our material was also sent from the NVC to San Jose Costa Rica as of 5/14/13. I read what you posted ("... ceac.state.gov (visa status check) and i see it says  "Your case is in transit to the Consular Section. Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center.")... and we received the exact comment you got. No, we don't already have an interview date. I suspect that they just say that if the package is en route to the embassies. It is my understanding that the embassy will call when they have processed it and are ready to have Package 3 picked up. After following the instructions, we then schedule the interview date with the embassy. Whew!!! What a process, right?!?
