Im thinking about sendindg iv package just after my husband pays the fee because it takes time to send the package from Tokyo to NVC and I think the fee will be "paid" while the package is acrossing the ocean haha. The operator(I couldnt catch her name. Something starting from S) told me that we would receive the invoive within 5 business days-60 days after the scanned date. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - August 2014	They open at their 7am, so try an hour later Sorry it was my mistake:) Tokyo 8pm is their 7am and it takes only 10-20mins to talk to them for me:) NVC don't open their phone lines until 7am which is when I usually call. I've never waited more than 20 minutes calling at that time, generally only 5-10 minutes wait at most. Sorry it was my mistake. So I kept on calling everyday and every person gave me a different answer...but this one day I called super early in the morning and Sylvia was there. she unlocked my IV fees and my DS-261 was completed couple of days after it. My 60 days (I feel ridiculous saying that) are coming up in 4 days from the date my DS-261 was received by the NVC and I am getting a little anxious here... Because they scanned my DS261 on June16(dont know why it took that long after June 5), they said I should be more patient until August 18. The operator Oscar told my husband we would receive it by last week but nothing happened of course. Then I was told that my DS261 scanned date is June 16 (I submitted it on June 5 though) and so I should be patient until August 16. 60days she said. I have not received the ridiculous 60days email yet but she said they sent it to me already. Well, maybe their computer system is not good ahaha. How can they justify taking this long to "accept" an ONLINE form that was maybe 1 page long? Above that, how can they justify putting some cases through faster than others? So tired of this... Im still waiting as well. Submitted DS261 on June5. The operator Oscar told my husband that we would receive invoice by the end of this week and my husband trusted it. Well, nothing happened. Well, I think I can pay it soon and then send IV package+finish DS260 at least in Aug, but then need to wait for the case close for 2months. Then the interview will be 1.5-2months after.. We submitted our DS261 on June 5 and so it will be 2months then. But my husband said Oscar sounded like he was pretty sure we can pay iv fee next week. And I could not find that a birth certificate and marriage certificate are needed for I-864ez. But the operator Nickie said it is written on the instruction that we need to send these documents with I-864ez.. I could not find it on the instruction either. I do hope we dont have to send these again.. It is ridiculous how many times we need to send our marriage certificate haha.. Oh that is GREAT newS!!! woohoo..    i am sure you are still worried. I checked our cheklist caredully, and found that they say they require my husband's birth certificate and our certificate only. It didn't mention he didn't make any mistakes on I-864ez form. So I called NVC again and was told that we dont have to re-send these certification because we already sent them before, not in AOS package. She said we only need to wait for 60days after IV scan date(8/21).. I was happy to hear that, but still worried about everything. Since English is not my mother langage, I want my husband to call them later to confirm it. I am so tired of this process. But I am happy that I am not alone. Thank you so much everybody! Oh shoot! sorry to hear that.well I am glad you caught it. Well send it all the details and hopefully it will be resolved sooner rather than later. I talked to NVC to check how our case is going, and the operator told me we had received AOS checklist on Aug 30. I believed our AOS was approved long ago, but I checked my mail folder, I found it...we didn't notice it and did nothing for a month. Our IV scan date is Aug 21, and so I thought we would receive case close next month. But it was wrong. I know this is all our fault, but I am too shocked. Because lawyers normally ask for the letter from nvc. Pls ask ur friend and let us know She said she received an email with 5 attached files from NVC. Its subtitle includes "DS-1200". One of my friends who got case number n stuff by calling them last week said she couldnt pay AOS fee untill she received an email from NVC. Now she could pay AOS and IV fee at the same time but cannot send DS260 yet. She says calling NVC n received numbers meant nothing coz she couldnt do anything until she received an email from NVC.
