IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	June 2013 I-130 Filers (merged)	I am living in Japan with my hubby and we had a problem to get the NOA1 hard copy and then our lawyer suggested to change our address from Japan to their office in Washington.      Then I got a transfer email on Dec 11 and still haven't gotten any hard copy.. so have no Idea to which service center we are transferred.    My lawyer said hard copy is not important so don't worry about it.. but I really wanna know!!   Is there anyone who can let me know where should I contact and confirm it?    I am pretty sure not to CSC since I am still waiting NOA2.....	rock lobster	Female	Japan	2014-01-16 22:00:00

Our cast was touched and will be send to another office   Today we had the following update: "On December 11, 2013, we transferred your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN, to your local USCIS Office for further processing. The new office has jurisdiction over your case and will send you a decision as soon as processing is complete or you will be notified if further information or action is needed. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address."   June filers get ready to see some action (hopefully)!!!!     Congratulation!!    I got NOA1 on Jun 13, and I got same email on exactly same day with you. Then I got an another email on Dec 14 as below.    The last processing action taken on your case Receipt Number: MSC139131XXXX Application Type: I130 , IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN Your Case Status: Initial Review The I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. That's about middle of july. Its been 2weeks since I submitted DS-261. No IV bill yet!!! Oh my God, this process is just way too long. Does everything in NVC have to take 30days!!! Same here. She was tired of waiting and tried to send a money order n it was successful for her. But it might be not for me.   Think you need to wait until your invoiced for the IV. Hmmmm I may try this instead of waiting for a month till the online payment is ready. Then I found that her online has changed to be ready for paying IV fee just a day after she sent a money order. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - June 2014	You can pay by cheque, but don't know how long it will take to clear and to show PAID and give you the bar-code sheet. Don't know if anyone really used this method on here. The online payment is much easier to look after. They still will have to look through your Civil Docs anyways. Doesn't matter which way you pay. It depends how fast the NVC is working with reviewing docs.  Thank you for the quick reply! I found it took only 3days for her to get PAID online. Is there anyone else who sent money order for paying IV fee instead of paying it online? IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - June 2014	Welcome to the thread and congratulations getting the AOS paid and it took be about that long to show paid also.       Yes it's taking a long time of late look at my timeline, I'm still waiting for the IV fee to show up.       It seems to vary and make no sense at least to me why but some said that USCIS is taking less time to accept the I-130 thus   flooding NVC. Who really knows.  I also hope NVC will speed up but wont hold my breath.      Good luck to you and I hope this thread proves helpful to you. Thank you for the sweet welcome message! This thread moves so fast and it's pretty hard to catch up haha. But there are many usuful information for NVC process and I'm happy to be here. My husband says I should wait with no stress. I know I should enjoy the rest of my life in Tokyo because I will live in America for long time from this year for sure. I know this visa process sucks, but I should not to feel stress since this stupid and annoying visa process will be done this year for sure:) That sounds crazy we have to wait for a month to pay IV fee. But well I will try to wait until the day comes. I'm going to Hawaii to spend vacation with my husband this weekend. He is coming from LA. I've been to LA for 3times during my I-130, and this is the first time to go to America after NOA2. I hope I can enter the US without any problems.. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - June 2014	I talked to Amanda (NVC agent).  She was super nice!      She suggested that I send my IV package using the AOS cover sheet in order to get my package into the system ASAP.  She told me that it wouldn't cause any problem if they end up opening my IV package before paying the IV fee.     I asked her to transfer the call to a supervisor just to double check this info.  I talked to Octavio (Supervisor) and he told me the same thing.  According to him, the bar code is almost the same for AOS and IV so nobody at NVC will get confused if I send my IV package with the AOS cover sheet.       However, he mentioned that I still have to fill out the DS-260 form, and the form won't be available until I pay the IV fee.  So he was saying that I may not end up saving any time since they still have to review my DS-260 form and it takes 30 days.  It can only benefit me if there is a good chance I'll receive a checklist on my IV package.     On the I-130 Facebook group, someone called NVC and asked the same question.  An NVC agent told her not to do it because her documents might get lost.  Another person called NVC and asked the same question too.  She was told she could do it since she had waited for more than 3 weeks to pay the IV fee.  We're getting different information from NVC on this issue.     Well, May (NVC agent) mentioned that some people were not getting the IV fee invoice because they filled out the DS-261 from too early.  Maybe I'll get an IV invoice sooner since I waited to fill out the form until receiving the initial email from NVC?  Fingers crossed!   Thank you for the information! I think I will visit Los Angeles to see my husband again-this will be my 4th visit in 8months. Plus we met in Honolulu last month as well. And I noticed that hiring a lawyer was cheaper than 4 round trip airline tickets for Tokyo-LAX + 1 for Tokyo-HNL lol. I dont know how much money I should spend because of this annoying process.. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - July 2014	You filled out the DS-261 on June 5th and your scan date is June 16th!?   It's usually the next day!     However, some people get unlucky (screwed) and end up having a scan date that is 1-2 weeks later.     Their buggy system needs to be fixed and updated.   Oh really? IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - July 2014	I finally received the IV fee invoice email and paid the IV fee!      I had waited for 28 darn business days.     I'm sending my IV package next Monday.  I hope I don't receive a checklist!  So scary!  I'm peeing in my pants!     Since I had 28 business days to prepare for the IV package, I've revised my IV cover letter 3-4 times.  I've decided to include documents they MIGHT need.  For example, I'm sending them my original marriage certificate AND certified copy JUST IN CASE my reviewer doesn't like one of them.         Getting a checklist on the AOS package is okay since it won't change your timeline since we have to wait for up to 30 business days for the IV fee invoice.  However, getting a checklist on the IV package is a crime since it'll delay the application timeline by 2 months!  OMG!  Fingers crossed!     Yayy, congratulations you could pay IV fee finally:) Since your DS261 date is the same as mine, I hope I will receive the invoice soon:D	chumi	Female	Japan	2014-07-18 21:43:00

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - July 2014	That's a huge .  However, if you're lucky, a supervisor may be able to unlock the IV fee for you.  I think they are allowed to do it only in the event of someone making a mistake and re-submitting the DS-261.     At least one person got lucky and got the IV fee invoice fast this way.     I thought about re-submitting the DS-261 on purpose and ask a supervisor to unlock the IV fee invoice.     However, most people on here have not been that lucky and ended up waiting for additional days.   No IV invoice yet? And people kept saying Nvc is nothin like Uscis and I was looking forward to it. And now when we come here it's becoming the same hell hole. So please stop calling urself unlucky and complaining. There are much worst cases around here. If anybody is unlucky I think it's us. We faced delays at both places. '7' month approvals I think were the LUCKIEST with us June filers. I feel sorry for you, but you know there are some 2 months approvals recently. They are the luckiest. And I just replied her to tell her I know her feeling. Please calm down. I see people on this forum that already have case complete with NVC even though their initial filing was more than two months after mine, all because they were sent to the CSC while our case went to TSC... and I actually live in California... Oh well, in my husband's country they say "el tiempo de dios es perfecto" which roughly translated means everything happens when it's supposed to... hard to believe but also hard to disprove. I know your feeling. My husband lives in California as well, but it took 7months for NOA2. People who got NOA2 very quieckly are so lucky, but it makes NVC busy I think. We are so unlucky.. But it was about I should send IV package including a police certificate and etc. We received same two messages. We have sent IV package already and so this is a false checklist? IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - August 2014	That's for a CC.  If you get a CC, the AOS section on the CEAC site changes from "PAID" to "N/A".     Since you have sent your IV package last week, you probably don't see this change at least until early Oct.   I see. They accepted all the sponsor's documents. She said the petetioner didn't check yes or no in a military question. And that we didn't add up the household size correctly. I don't know how is that possible. We marked one for himself, one for adding all others and n/a in married. Now let's wait for the email. I m still surprised though that they accepted the tax returns without w2 from what the operator told me. Our AOS scanned date is the same but I have not received anything.
