Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	Filing I-751 jointly while we are living separately	Im sorry, and I understand that this is a site for help with forms and support, but I dont get it. Why would anyone in there right mind, spend so much time, money, effort, heart ache into this process ... get to the USA, give up everything they have ever known, -- job, family, friends, home --- be with their partner, split up within a couple months ... and actualy WANT to stay in the US ??? If after years of my relationship with my fiance, and another year in this process, and I got to him ... if it didnt work out .. I would be heading right back to Canada. Maybe this isnt the place for this kind of post, but it really doesnt look like " love " to me, and I just see this kind of posting so so much, I had to say something. the reason it is so hard, costs so much money, and takes so long to get a visa is because of visa fraud. people will pay $50,000 to do a fake marriage, get their GC, and divorce etc. that is why all the people who are legit have to take a hit to prevent stuff like that. it is terrible, and i am sad we all have to feel the pain because of it.	tokyo.lovers	Female	Japan	2010-06-28 01:56:00

Actually, it's not WHEN you got the green card, but the expiration date on it, which is usually two years after the date of POE, so in the OP's case July 5th. We live with my rents cuse i am poor. though now hubby has a JOB (hurray! ) so we will be moving in an apartment in about 2 months once probation ends. however, i am not changing my permanent address, since this will not be a forever move. does hubby have to submit an address change form if he is also not changing permanent address? if the lease is in his name, does he have to submit the form? i am confused. help! Should arrive this Friday, April 6th. Stuff inside: - I-751 Signed and dated - Personal check for $590 - Copy of notice from Homeland Security requesting we submit I-751 - Copy of passport and green card - Copy of 2011 US and State Tax Returns (joint) - Document showing husband as 401k and health insurance beneficiary - Copy of car insurance policy showing husband as additional driver - Copy of bank statements with joint ownership - Copy of a bank notice showing account is now joint - Copy of credit card statements for a joint account - Copy of notice stating a different credit card account is now joint - Copies of new years, Christmas, and wedding cards addressed to us - Copy of itinerary and plane tickets for a Tokyo trip - Photos with family and on vacations We just bought a new car together yesterday, but redoing all the paperwork to add it in seemed like too much work. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Starting my journey from Thailand	if you are married already you do the CR-1. and you should fill out all the bio form just to be safe. even if it says not to. we filled out everything. if the info doesn't fit on the page you add a page with the info on it. there should be instructions attached to the documents. if you cannot translate or read the language your marriage doc is in, you will need to pay a translator to translate it. you should also have it notarized to be safe. good luck	tokyo.lovers	Female	Japan	2010-07-24 13:28:00
IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	DS-3032 Choice of Agent for IV applicant (e-mail form)	we sent an email regular HTML to the NVC. no signature or ANYTHING. it must have been approved because we got the IV bill very soon after. but we never got a confirmation email and the AVR never stated anything. we sent a hard copy by regular mail too. but i think they accepted the email that had no signatures.	tokyo.lovers	Female	Japan	2010-06-20 00:10:00

Since, I haven't seen middle name of mine in our NOA-1.
