On April 15th another email saying that "Approval notice sent". This is my current status, but i am hoping the card in mail any time. i don't know about other people, who recently got approvals. For God's sake, I WISH I had taken a screen shot of that "card ordered" page, because now I have no proof it was ordered. I just called the USCIS customer service line and they said they cant go back and check previous updates. I have a bad feeling the USCIS made a mistake in telling me my card was ordered. Has anyone else gotten an update of "card ordered", but never actually gotten the card? Sounds odd, but this IS the USCIS were talking about. They seem to derive great pleasure from yanking our collective chain. that means that the card its been sent ,mine says the same ,but you are approved already so do not worry about it !!!you may get your card during this week or the next one You didn't get your card yesterday? I see VSC is still approving some direct filers who filed up to five months after some of us who remain unapproved. At least we now know what VSC does on Wednesdays and Thursdays . . . . It is certain that they are looking at the filer that got transferred on the 25th, but the ones they are looking at is not in order. My file got touched 3 days on a row before finally getting a final decision today. Congrats! Actually, people received email notifications that their petitions had been received at VSC on either February 13 or February 22. That breakdown isn't reflected here, but it is reflected on the main VSC list, http://www.visajourn...p;#entry1753171. With two exceptions (A_C and utopiacowboy), all of the approvals thus far have been for those whose petitions hit VSC on February 13. There are only two left on the list from the 2/13 group -- me and westy77. We also don't have kids. I know I was still nervous till the end that we'd see another roadblock with an RFE sailing in, but obviously they just had the approval stamp ready today. lol Congrats Tweety and Staashi!!! I wanted to chime in for this as well. I just send them the birth Certificates of our daughters, current lease for the appartment with my name on it, electic bill with my wife's name on it and Tax documents. Since I had to submit everything just 2 days before the time was up I didnt send them much and got approved with it although I was ready for an RFE. Wow, and I thought what I sent was fairly minimal. We haven't gotten anything yet As I recall, we received the paper notice telling us we were being transferred to VSC about a week after we got the January 31 email telling us the same thing. However, we didn't get the second "pending and received" email until February 13 (and a number of people didn't get that second email until February 22) -- you got that second email just six days after the first. That way they look busy. Contrast them to CSC. VSC received our files in mid-February and didn't issue any approvals until the end of March. CSC received the NSC mass transfer files just a little over a week ago and has already issued about the same number of approvals as VSC. Oh, to be in a rubber-stamp service center like CSC . . . . My wife's card (with one year extension) only expires on July 7, 2008, even tough our NOA date is March 23. (yeah, we filed as early as we could) If people listed their actual card expiration dates, then we'd know for sure. But congrtulations to all! I hope we're soon. I check at least a dozen times a day!! Probably not -- junglee069 filed at the absolute last minute, so his NOA1 date (3/13) and card expiration date are more or less the same. Very unfair considering a mate of mine did the same thing about a month later for his wife and got the green card within 2 months or so. We can apply for citizenship while this is still being processed, right? Wow, no offense, but you ARE a TOTAL LOSER! I've never seen anyone with an TSC NOA1 date of July who wasn't transferred immediately to CSC and then approved in September. I hope you're not kicking yourself that if you had filed even a day or two later than you did, you would have been approved 6-7 months ago (I'm assuming you sent yours in on June 28 or thereabouts since your NOA1 date of July 1 is a Sunday). Look on your chart, most of the others got the card within 5 to 10 days after the notice email. We are about 50 miles south of Orlando. Did you get an email after the card-production-ordered email, that said, Approval notice sent? That was sent the 20th and got the card 2 days later. They mailed the card on the 20th. "Approval notice sent"? No, we received a second email on the 19th that was just a duplicate of the email we received on the 16th. We never got anything indicating that the card was actually sent. Have you gotten an I-551 stamp in your passport yet? From your timeline, your NOA1 extension will expire at the latest in a couple of weeks (and may have long since expired). I would make an InfoPass appointment to get the stamp and inquire in person. I agree with James. You will know if something is wrong with your case and get a stamp. I wonder how it works if someone doesn't know english well, maybe you can go with someone. James, I am glad you are not retired yet, we need some until everyone gets approved.
