The mailing address is: Post Office Box 65 Postal Station Desjardins Montréal Québec H5B 1G1 Canada Since you're not actually mailing it, but including in the interview packet, I think you could use either address because it's more of about proper business letter etiquette than getting to them in the mail. She's been awfully quiet since the interview. I guess she's really focused on packing now or having a meltdown because of panic. Where are you lovely? I see you've posted a WEDDING DATE in your timeline. That's pretty exciting. I often wonder when my wedding date will be. We can't even come up with a vague idea of any wedding plans. He says, "whatever you want" but I wish he would give me some ideas because I don't care. I just want to get married and live happily ever after. Well I know I don't want to get married barefoot on the beach, but that's about it. He thinks Vegas is too trashy. So what to do, what to do??? Oh well, once he makes a plane reservation, then I'll come up with something. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Filing in March	Hey March~~ Visits are good, but my honey left to go back to the UK last night. Now I just have the cat to hang out with and he's not allowed in restaurants and can't drive, so it's not too great with him. We had a great visit. He had a fun birthday. We visited with friends and my kids; ate BBQ, hot dogs, and Mexican food; celebrated the 4th of July; and we got several projects done around the house, too. I had to laugh at him Saturday because he was having his leftover fajitas for lunch and brought out the English mustard. It was sort of a British spin on Tex-Mex food. This time there were no tears at the airport because it won't be too long before he comes back to stay. It's just so exciting to know things are moving along. And maybe no sadness because in 12 days I'm getting on a plane to go to the UK. It's a little crazy, but I wanted to go over for the interview and got a free ticket with frequent flyer miles. Maybe I can help him pack or sort out his stuff. To all of you March people still waiting. I'm so sorry it's not happening quicker. Kim's bit about the different adjudicators each picking up a box with a different timeframe makes alot of sense. But don't you just wish you could have a look around their work area and make sure they didn't cover up your file with junk and forget about it or drop it off the back of the desk without knowing it? ARRGH!! the frustration of not knowing what's going on is painful. Here's to a new week and hopes that we can celebrate some March filers again. Congratulations. I think my computer must be broken because every time I look at Igor's list it just looks the same...no changes for days! What's up with that? Well we'll just keep hoping for more celebrating soon. Maybe they're really approving but the scanner broke. It does seem like a few more trickle in late, whether it's because they get the email two days later like me, or just get the snail mail copy without any updates. You aren't really asking for a handout from them, just a piece of paper to get you past the embassy, so don't let your pride of self-support keep you from trying to get that K1. Have you met the parents? Do they have a close relationship with their son? Do you feel like they are okay with the relationship or do they think it's too soon for their son to marry? There's so many things that would make them want to ask questions and know more before signing a legal document and turning over their personal financial records to somebody. Give them a little time to work it out in their heads. Bex had a lot of good points about people fearing the internet. You can do this, but you have to get out from under the hiding rock and fight for it. I know you're feeling really down and disappointed right now and I don't blame you. But I know you can pick yourself up and fix this. It's not a lost cause yet by any means. JUST DO IT!!! (Hey Bex, am I a silver surfer??? hahahaha...I never thought of that but I could be your Gran. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Filing in March	Hello and good afternoon. Nothing much to say but hope everybody is feeling good today and not too worried about anything. We're all moving forward with a new future just by virtue of sending in the darn paperwork. I wish you March people could get resolved because it is disheartening to see them move forward with dates in April. But we saw that happen with March. Chunks would get approved down the list some, then they would go back and fill in. The beginning of April isn't that far from the end of March. And some we are calling April actually mailed in March. I just wish nobody had to wait, but try to trick your brain into doing something besides thinking about it. Not sure about the Igor's list thing, but you don't have to be low on the list to get an approval. We were 69 or 70. I think he cleaned out the list some or Capt Ewok got rid of some dud timelines or duplicates. There are still some waiting from months ago that are stuck in processing for various reasons. And I suppose there are those who never came back to update. We are working on making a Roman shade today. I always put Nick to work when he comes, so better go crack the whip now. Half the people who post on VJ seem to be asking questions about co-sponsors so it's very common. I hope you guys can find somebody quickly and get all the papers together. If they don't feel comfortable sending their personal income and tax details to you, whom they don't know well, then they can send straight to the Embassy with your case number and names. I read that on the London website. So tell your fiance that can be done when he's recruiting somebody if they act reluctant. And to everybody lurking....we are not a clique. We just like to talk (or rather type) alot. hahaha We can't chat at you and share your frustrations unless we know you're there. PLEASE join in. Pandora, so sorry you felt left out. It wasn't on purpose. I was dying to know you since day one, because we had twin filing times and countries. Highway , I sent you a private message. (Did you notice your star has a smiling face?) We don't think anything weird about you meeting on the internet. Didn't everybody?? And we just want you to quit fretting about being old or working for the government and all the scenarios that will drive you mad. Like I said, I had to quit checking USCIS because it was making me into a sad lump of a person. I know how you feel. We all do. I just said "Stop it" because I'm Mommy Nic and I talk that way. Turn your brain off and get out of this mode or you're going to make yourself sick with depression. It's coming. You're not left out. If all of April was approved, but you, then you could worry. But they don't go in exact order. They are working on both sides of you which means you are close. I know how you feel, but you're thinking of failing and giving up and that is so negative. Make a deal with yourself that you won't check for updates for a week. All that checking with no change is a downer. I gave up checking for 3 weeks because I was tired of the disappointment. It helped me alot. Bex---so excited for you. Don't be nervous. London is a piece of cake. Do you have all your papers nicely organized? Don't forget the appointment letter. Don't forget you can't take in car keys or cell phones and will have to stow them at the pharmacy. We're going in three weeks. Nick arrived Friday afternoon and we drove the hour+ from the airport straight to a 4th of July cookout and stuffed on ribs, chicken and brisket. And desserts. Then home briefly before we walked to the park where the fireworks display was held. I think he had about a 24 hour day by bedtime but still woke really early (5am?) because I guess he was still on British time. He watched British Grand Prix at Silverstone on the Slingbox. It was the time trials. Then we went to the coffee shop and saw some of my friends. Back home next and I had birthday surprises for him. Then we went for a long drive out a narrow road and ended up at the seaside. It's a beach area where I've never been because it's not the closest beach. They were having the Bam Bam Jamboree and it was a hoot. Small little festival in a spot in the road with tacky craft booths and three lousy little game booths. I couldn't even find the roads we went on on Google maps unless I zoomed in super close. Then back home I made him a decadent chocolate birthday cake covered in assorted chocolate candies. Next, we headed back to Houston (hour drive) to meet up with youngest daughter and husband. We went to see their new house that's getting built and then had Nick's birthday dinner of Mexican food and Margaritas. After being over-stuffed on fajitas and enchiladas, we went back to their apartment and ate that chocolate cake. It was probably midnight before we finally got back home. Today I've been in a coma mostly...too much food, heat, driving, etc. Nick went alone to his favorite place...Walmart! But now we're invited for hotdogs at a friend house. We're just over the top with Americana for Nick this weekend. LOL Danielle, I'm really hoping for your NOA2 this week. Here's people around you by NOA1 date. You haven't been left behind. Your timeline says July 3-July 10. Save the worry at least until July 10. She emailed several times during the day saying "I love this place." They gave her a whole office of her own, a Blackberry phone thing, free gym membership and lots more money. She is chuffed, as the Brits would say. Often when you decide to jump off and make a change in your status quo, it turns out to be a great thing. So everybody who is stressing about the big change you're making...I hope by Christmas you are all sitting in America saying, "I love this place." The newly approved are new names to the list and I guess they are the ones formerly known as (enter name here) and (enter name here) that I thought were Danielle & Justin because of identical dates, Embassy, etc. Now we know because they fixed their timeline. Wondering where Bex is and how the medical went today. Nothing new going on with me. Aleena- My dream last night for the mid-summer Romanian thing was of this handsome Brazillian man...hahahaha. She's been to London before so has already been to the main attractions. She said she might try her hand at going to Wimbledon since it's starting and the early matches might be easier to get in. On the weekend, Nick will tour-guide her around his area. I'm looking forward to going back to England next month. We've booked a place near the embassy for the night before the interview. Now we're checking out information from shipping companies and trying to get a grasp on that. There's always something to learn each time you make it over one hurdle as you move on to the next. Indeed there is somebody new named Yan & Thomas that would slot in right after Roger and Amy with a NOA1 of 3/28. The new name changes our approvals to 76.4% completed. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Filing in March	Hi, good morning (even though my morning is past lunch for many of you) Yesterday we finally got some rain. I think that was 42 days without a drop. You would think we live in the desert or something. There's been rain around, but I must have a giant invisible umbrella over my neighborhood. Normally I wouldn't care, but since I got so ambitious being the gardener this year and planted flowers, I just have to make sure they get a little drink of water if there's no rain. It's a bad summer so far to be the flower lady. Oh, and there's something else I wanted to tell you about. I called the Customs and Border Protection people yesterday because there was another thread about can or can't you visit the US when you have a K1 filed. I decided I wanted to see if I could ask them directly. Here's the post if you want to read about that. It applies to Visa Waiver countries. My post about the phone call. Jessica and Danielle...so close and so far huh? It's like that carrot is being dangled right before your eyes but it keeps moving back. It's so disappointing to keep checking USCIS and no changes to your case. Danielle- Are you waiting for the mail delivery of the NOA2? Didn't you sign up for the USCIS website thing and email notification? It will make your suffering days shorter than waiting on the postal service. TIME SAVER TIP: If the beneficiary knows the NVC case number, they don't have to wait for the consulate to mail packet 3 to them to send back the forms and documents asked for. They can download the forms, fill them out, have the other documents needed and mail them to the consulate - provided that the beneficiary's gathered the documents asked for in the instructions, such as the federal and state police certificate -; the letter sent out to the consulate should make reference to the NVC case number (starting with RDJ).
