Hi Jessica

She wrote DTaP on the paper to take to his doctor. But reading this from the link you sent it sounds like the difference is DTaP is for babies and the adult and booster version is Tdap. Maybe he didn't have the series as a baby.
QUOTE
Acellular pertussis-containing vaccines are available for use in persons at least 10 years of age. The adolescent and adult formulation of tetanus and diphtheria toxoid and acellular pertussis (Tdap) vaccine is given as a single (booster) dose for persons 10 through 64 years of age who have completed the recommended childhood diphtheria and tetanus toxoids and the pertussis/diphtheria and tetanus toxoids and acellular pertussis (DTP/DTaP) vaccine series.

That's a very good point you bring up and sounds correct to me. Makes you wonder if the nurse really knows what she's doling out. She also told him it contained immunization for polio as well. I know that's not right. Well the jab he goes to get is a story to be continued I guess. He'll have to question his own doctor or nurse and see what they say. The nurse at the medical appt did say if he changed his mind about getting the shot, he could just call and tell them to send his medical results on to the embassy. Thanks for the insight.

kicking.gif Medical is done! One more thing to tick off the list.

He said it went smoothly and was much like the other reports of the Bentinck Mansion location in London. The only hitch was the immunizations. He had gone to the doctor to get that done ahead of time and the record to take. They told him at the medical today that in February of this year, the US had added the DTP shot =Diptheria, Tetnus, Pertussis (whooping cough) to the requirements. He might have said DTaP. Apparently, it is the whooping cough the US is concerned about. He doesn't have to have the shots until he adjusts status, but the nurse said it will make things go faster if he finishes up. They could give the shot at the medical for 25 pounds, but he decided to get it done at National Health for maybe free. She gave him a paper explaining what was needed and said when the shot was given his doctor could fax the info back to the medical place. They will then forward all to the embassy and mail him a complete record of his immunization. The interview won't be for awhile yet, so there's plenty of time to add that before the medical is sent over.

About the timelines...
The good news is I found two from the list who must be approved but their timelines are messed up with no NOA2 date. One has reported an interview date and the other has received their packet 3. So they can be marked off the list.
The bad news is, I found two new March filers that weren't there before who will slide in in front of Ana. So we add those to the list.
But that really doesn't change it much +2-2=0

Ana- you are tied with 12 people on your NOA1 date so you could easily be picked for processing first when they start on that batch. Doesn't it look like they wanted to get their numbers up by the last day of March and just worked like crazy to get some NOA1s out? Also about my prediction for Friday the 13th--that's supposed to be a day of bad luck (at least in the US) but it's a superstition and I thought maybe it could be a really good luck day instead. I'm really hoping it goes fast this week and next so the March Madness group can turn it over to the Anxious Aprils. good.gif

Hi, I'm back.

QUOTE (Ana&Jeff @ Jun 2 2008, 05:45 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
So I was also wondering do you guys thing that sometimes they also work by country??

Interesting question. I sorted my spreadsheet by countries and didn't see any real pattern of approval by country. I'm going to predict yours is Friday the 13th (June 13) So now you can stop worrying so because that's going to be your lucky day.

Now back to weddings. I haven't a clue where/when/how our wedding will take place, but I know we gotta plan something. I'm am the weirdo here, but I guess it's because I'm past that at this point in my life. I really, really do love weddings. In recent years I've done two huge formal wedding for my daughters. I've helped out so many people, it's been suggested that I go into the business of wedding planner. But for myself, I just want to be married and in love and together. I don't even want a ring. I've got lots already and don't want Nick to spend that much money on me. Hmmmm...but I do love diamonds so much....hmmm. hahahaha
(Right now you're all imagining this old broad, with Big Texas hair, and gaudy rings on every finger.) rofl.gif Not quite.
Anyway, I also don't plan to change my name. It just seems like it would take forever to change everything and I'm tired of paperwork and forms and phone calls. Call me crazy, but we adore each other so much and that's the only thing I care about now. I just want to get on with the "happily ever after" part of the story. heart.gif

Hi Bex--

Don't know what to say about the wedding discussion. It's nice a guy actually wants a wedding. Most I've run across just tolerate it because the bride is planning it. He must be so proud of you. Lots of people meet the other side for the first time at their wedding. Nick and I will come for your side. Oh....we're strangers too. rofl.gif

If you are really as shy as it sounds and hate the thought of being the center of attention, then I see your side completely. Maybe if the wedding isn't too soon after you arrive, you will have time to adjust to the area and meet a few people before hand. Does he want you to have strangers for bridesmaids? Are any of your mates or cousins or sisters going to be able to come? If you can't take it, tell Alan you might turn into the Runaway Bride. I'm being silly and don't mean to diminish your angst....I really do understand but I don't have a good solution. Family only cermony at a little chapel earlier in the day and big party 8PM-midnight? That way you skip dinner hour and only have to feed people a few light refreshments instead of a big dinner. (I'm always thinking of ways to save money.)

More later...going to video conference with my guy smile.gif He just called.

Some other things I worked out about March filers.

Those who got NOA2 from
Mar 21 to April 8 -- Avg days -- 22 (those were mostly mailed in Feb, but seemed to have a long time to NOA1)

April 15 to Apr 30 - Avg days -- 42

May 1 to May 9 --- Avg days -- 55

May 12 to May 16 -- Avg days --60

May 19 to May 30 -- Avg days -- 69

So we're not just imagining it...it's slowing down

Good morning lovely ladies.

Just checking in and I see Erin is in a happy mood. Good for you.

I've been home a week now and I hate it. It's just too blah all by myself. sad.gif I miss simple things like hugs.
I did yard things yesterday and got all sweaty and overheated and muddy. Can't say I love working in the yard (garden in British), but I like the way it looks so I keep at it. I really should go work on weeds some more before they get too bad. By mid summer, it's just way too hot and I sorta give it up.

My daughter stopped by briefly yesterday because she was in town for something else. She's planning a short trip to England at the end of June. A close friend of hers is on a work assignment in London and she's been wanting to visit. She's also going to catch a train or bus to go visit Nick for a couple of days at the end so he can show her around his area and do some driving out in the countryside. I love the back roads, the little villages and reading the names of all the pubs. So glad she's taking the opportunity since her friend and Nick won't be in England by the end of the year. (Free places to stay!) Her friend's company pays for a 2 bedroom flat right by Westminster so it's a great location to easily see the sights of the big city.

Ok, off to the yard to tackle a few weeds. I'm looking forward to the new week starting with lots of hope for Aleena and the rest of the March filers.

Vibes~~~~

Hello jmmr. Welcome to March Madness.
Erin is a CSC too. Good to have another. You will have a bit of a wait since they are only about half through January at CSC. They do seem to be moving on along with 12 VJ approvals this week last time I looked. VSC has done 1 VJer this week and I was so sure Aleena would be lucky this week.

Hello??? It's gone awfully quiet in this little corner of VJ.

I hope it's because everyone got real busy with their lives and quit obsessing on NOA2 and the likes. Just checked Igor's list and VSC isn't putting much forth this week that helps our friends. Guess I need to vibe~~~ them some more. In truth, the VJ people on the list are just a tiny little speck of the cases they handle. Think of all the poor folks that don't know about VJ. They don't have anybody to rant with. ranting33va.gif

Things are going ok for me, not much to complain about but the heat. I think it was around 93F today. (That's 33-34C for those who don't do Fahrenheit) I'm having to water to keep my flowers from drying up. They have a tough time and by mid summer usually give up and perish.

I've been catching up with friends, laundry, etc. It was lots more fun being away for 2 weeks. I was spoiled and pampered....so nice! Nick treats me like royalty when I go see him. When he comes here, I always seem to have a room to be painted or something to repair. Poor guy. I can't think of any projects that need doing, so maybe he'll be lucky and get to rest when he comes in 5 weeks. He's never been here in July, so we'll see how he takes to the heat. Hope he doesn't change his mind and call the immigration off. wacko.gif

Where is Bex these days? Did you get your Packet 3 yet? Ours made it back to the embassy. Gosh it feels so much better this side of the NOA2. I can't wait for ya'll still waiting to see what I mean. Your stress will be so much lighter as you make progress. It's just being in that hell hole devil.gif of not knowing how long things are going to take that makes you crazy.

Good luck everybody on whatever you're wishing for most today. heart.gif

Good morning. My body is still in another time zone. Yesterday I got up somewhere around 3AM because I was still on British time I guess. I stayed up about 2 hours later Monday night so managed to sleep until 4:30 AM or so today. If I was still in the UK, it would be daylight, but it's still very dark here at almost 6 AM now.

I'm getting back into the swing of things at home, but miss the fun of two weeks as part of a "couple." One of my daughters was here Sunday and the other came Monday. I saw a good friend who had surgery while I was away who is doing well. My girlfriend and I went out last night to the coffee shop where we hang out and chat. We caught up on two weeks worth of what's been going on. My cats are happy that I'm home. I pay a college girl to look after the house and cats while I'm away. She's very thoughtful. The house was very cleaned up. She left me a vase of flowers on the breakfast room table and pasta, salad, garlic bread, and cake in the fridge so I would have something to eat after my long day of travel.

I guess my vacation is officially over and I really should unpack and do laundry at some point. Here's to a good week for everybody!

I'm back home. Feeling very tired now. It's a 10 hr flight and makes for a very long day considering the extra time spent at the airport before and after.

Erin here's the Canada consulate reviews. http://www.visajourn...p...nada&page=1
I glanced at a few, especially K1s and K3s. Several said they didn't look at any evidence of a relationship. I think the detailed proofs we read about here on VJ are countries where there is more visa fraud and language differences. Canada doesn't seem to be that difficult once you get to the interview so relax and be the fun girlfriend he fell for.

My personal opinion is, in the case of Montreal and London, that they figure your relationship has already been proven to the USCIS and their main concern is your medical exam, police record, and proof of support. You will have to work out everywhere you've lived and all your trips to the US and for how many days, so fret over figuring those things out for your forms. I think that's more important than phone bills. And another thing...your NOA 2 is down the road a bit and your nerves aren't going to make it that long if you keep up the worrying at this pace.

While your talking packet 3, its worth taking copies of your original documents for the interview, such as birth cert, police cert etc, they will then keep the copies and give you the originals back.

Got that covered. All docs (and copies) for the interview are sorted, labeled, and neatly packed for the interview.

Erin--you don't need all those phone records. They won't look at that much during the interview. Just have yours and maybe something of his closer to the interview if you must. We actually don't have any phone records in our interview packet. I haven't read Canada embassy reports but London reports say they don't ask for much in documentation of the relationship.

Will catch up with you guys when I get back in the USA. Adios amigos!

Isn't it a lovely morning? yes.gif
Next week I'll be all lonely and grouchy since I have to go back home tomorrow morning. And I'll be out of synch time-wise on your postings. You'll be having a party on here and telling your news while I'm still sleeping.

Aleena, I'm ready for you to get your NOA 2. This is the week. idea9dv.gif ~~~~~~~~
We need to hurry up so Kim's April club can be the happening place with approvals coming in. I think a week of 20+ VJ approvals would be good.

You know, our lists are such a small part of what they do at the service centers. When I was tracking my package from NVC to the embassy, in two days of shipments there were papers going to 82 or 83 different countries. And there were multiple petitions in many of the packages. That's alot of approvals going out in a two day period.

BTW we scanned the whole packet 3 letter and checklist from London, but I don't really how to post documents on VJ for other people to reference. It had an April 2008 date on the form, so it's very new.

Bex, hope you've ordered your police certificate and gotten your P3 stuff together because you will have your packet next week for sure. The police certificate is good for 12 months. Maybe that's why you're mad at Alan, because he's not started his part (affidavit of support). Whenever possible during this process, I filled out the forms and emailed them to Nick to print and sign. Alot of the original petition forms were pdf that could be saved.

Congratulations to Bex on finishing university. good.gif Very, very funny about your neighbor.

Pandora- you were speedy in sending your Packet 3 back. Nick did his documents today...all day it seems, but it's ready to put in the post tomorrow. He requested in a cover letter that his interview be scheduled after July 15. He also booked his medical today. I've got all the other things to take to the embassy that I want to go over with him before I leave so he can organize it and be ready. If I organized it for him, he would just act all confused. Sometimes his British brain thinks backwards to mine, so it's best to let his brain get ready for the interview.

And a little quote for all of you from a fridge magnet~

"Pain is inevitable. Suffering is optional."
Let's all do our best to put on a smile for the weekend.

Nothing like a mistake to bring the lurkers out of the woodwork LOL
Welcome end of the month filers. Glad you all chimed in. I guess my search of the timelines from March 1-March 31 excluded March 31.

Or maybe I didn't do the rhyme properly ...Thirty days hath September...April, June, and November....

I put you in my spreadsheet. Of course when I go back home to the USA on Sunday, I'll have to get back to my original spreadsheet. Just made a quick new one while visitin the UK. And what's with those dates on UK computers? I have to enter 31/3/08 to get Excel to take it as 3/31/08.

Hello all,

I was having a slow day, so called the London Embassy visa hotline to ask about the Packet 3 which I thought would be delivered by now. (Did I sound casually obsessed like Bex?) The lady said it has not been sent out yet. I'm not so sure she's not just looking at the same old screen that previous agencies have pulled up. I asked when it arrived and she said May 8. Well that's when it left NVC, so there doesn't seem to be any new update like it being scanned upon arrival in London (if they do that.) It got there May 12 according to DHL tracking. Ho-hum...I hope it didn't fall behind somebody's desk.

Just saw that Bex's petition was delivered to the London Embassy today. She will probably get her Packet 3 before us. I may have to kill her if that happens. hahahaha Actually, we have to stall just a little anyway, so I'm good as long as they don't lose it.

Oh boy---new people kicking.gif Hi Ana. Hi Jerry from the Lone Star State.

I'm very proud of myself. I managed to catch a bus into Oxford and got back home again. I'm not at all used to public transportation so it's a big deal to me learning to read bus stop signs. hahahaha
I'm going back on Thursday to the antique market (which is more like what I call a flea market) I always go have a browse when I'm here.

I saw some girls with balloons and tiaras...perhaps an Oxford University version of Bex and the Pirates. We're going to the theatre again on Thursday to see Pirates of Penzance...the same day that Bex is a pirate. I'll be thinkin' of ye. And we do want pictures.

The story I tell is the oldest asked for a little brother or sister for her birthday, and she was so spoiled that we always gave her anything she wanted. tongue.gif

Actually, I was a teacher and if I had a baby in May, my six weeks of leave lumped together with the 3 month summer break gave me an extra long maternity leave. Also I thought it worked out well for the students because I didn't have to abandon them to adjust to a new teacher except for the last two weeks of school, at which point there's not much learning going on anyway. So May was somewhat planned, but the exact date was random.

Good morning all,

I had a surprise fun day planned for me on Saturday...a day in London. Nick knows my all time favorite musical is Les Miserables so he had bought matinee tickets and booked the train. We arrived at Paddington station and walked the edge of Hyde Park to Marble Arch and then on to the US Embassy just to check it out. We had tea and cappuccino and just strolled about Oxford street before heading to Picadilly Circus on the tube. I enjoyed Les Mis as always. I think this is my 6th time to see it, but it's been four years since the last time. Then we had a nice dinner and wine. Later at another tea/coffee stop the girl at the counter asked where I was from. She said I had a nice accent. Nick told her "she doesn't have an accent, we do", making fun of what I usually say.

It was a cloudy, sometimes lightly raining day, but I had great fun in the city.

The first time I called, I didn't know much about it and was surprised to get a live person so late at night. It just went straight through. She was really nice. I loved NVC that night.

When I called later in the week to find out if it was sent to London, I started earlier in the evening. That's where I got all the experience I related here earlier. (busy signals, Spanish lady robot voice) I was watching American Idol or one of my cheesy reality shows and hit redial at every commercial. After I gave it up and waited until late night, then I got through. I guess if you called when they are just opening, that would be a good time also.

Yep, we plan to include a cover letter asking for an interview after July 14 and hope that will take care of it. There's always the reschedule option. I also read in a post long ago that London schedules you according to what date you put as your planned entry into the US. A guy was wondering why he hadn't gotten an interview. His planned entry was 6 months in the future. Somebody replied they schedule your interview about 6 weeks before the date you say you plan to enter. In that way they take care of people who want to go ASAP and push back those planning on taking months to tie things up. Sounds reasonable. Wonder if that's true?

And my guy's birthday is also in July. He booked a ticket months ago to come to the US for his b'day. The craziest thing is--it's possible to have the interview and K1 before that trip so we now have to stall the process or cancel the trip because July is too soon to drop everything and move over the pond.

What a strange set of circumstances we get ourselves into. Aleena wants the interview and visa by July 11 and can't speed it up. We are now realizing we need to slow it down to after mid-July. I guess our collective gripe is that we don't have control over this part of our lives. It's in the hands of government employees.

huh.gif Hmmm...the postman just pushed an envelope through the door. Could that be Packet 3? It doesn't say US Consulate on it anywhere, so I guess not.

Miss! Miss! helpsmilie.gif

Can you tell me how I find out when my case is received by NVC?

I can tell you but it will involve more obsessing by you tongue_ss.gif
Found the info here in the Wiki http://www.visajourn...i/index.php/NVC but much of that is about people adjusting status. It does give the email or phone number (which good obsessive little girls will surely want) and their hours.

Here's my summary as it applies to K1 (I-129f) cases:

Phone number (603) 334-0700 in New Hampshire

(Anything you read about automated responses by entering your USCIS number does not apply to K1. Our cases just pass through there to get packed up. We never get entered into NVC's 24/7 status reporting system. So when you call you have to speak to a real person --option 5)

So you dial the number and get busy signal---that means they're way busy so give it up for a couple of hours.

When you do actually get the automated robot voice to answer he's going to tell you to push 1 for English.

The next step is push 5 for a real person. He'll tell you you're being transferred and it will go silent. If you start hearing a Spanish lady recording, you might as well hang up because she's telling you it's too busy and you're being transferred back to the automated. Then the guy tells you that in English and you're wasting phone money listening. Just redial and start over or wait 5 min and start over.

If you're put in the queue, you won't hear the Spanish lady and it will tell you something about your wait may be 5 minutes or 7 minutes. Don't hang up, you're almost there.

When the live person answers, be prepared to give them your USCIS receipt number and full names and birthdates of both parties. You can ask if your case is there, when it arrived and departed, what your new case number is etc. (Mine is a LNDxxxxx number because of LoNDon. ) Ask away.
TIP: I was successful both times after 10pm central time. That would be about 4:15 am if you're going to call.

Once you know it has left there, you can track it on DHL. But that is tomorrow's lesson unless you want to prepare for next week. wacko.gif

Just looking at those late March/ early April filers being approved and thinking our Raff may just be in that box!

Yes, I hope so. They're working all around her. It's funny because you can see approvals start to clump together many times which makes me think one dude has this box and another has that box like we speculate. And within the box they aren't in a particular order. They probably just consider the box as equal and grab a folder out of it. And of course we VJ people aren't the only ones in the box. So that makes it hard to picture too. You could be in a box with no other VJ people and then it makes your case not fit in with anything you dream up. Geez this process twists your brain. I don't even know what I'm trying to speculate. ranting33va.gif Damn the USCIS for scrambling my brain. rofl.gif

Congratulations Mark kicking.gif kicking.gif kicking.gif

Finally some life in here. I thought everybody graduated and moved on. Well you did kinda graduate now didn't you?

Nick's interview is a week from today. I'm going over there Friday. There's hurricane Dolly that reminded me that I should write out a hurricane plan in case of evacuation while I'm gone. You just never know when you live this close to the Gulf of Mexico. I just want to give my kids a checklist of things they will have to do for me. Come get the cats--the travel crates are in the attic. Take my photo albums and CPU with you. Move the loose things in the yard to the garage...hanging baskets, bird bath, bench, etc. Those become missiles in high winds and really big things can go airborn. It's such a pain. If I think through a plan ahead of time, then I won't have to worry quite as much if something comes up. Oh dear, one more thing to do...

Highway star_smile.gif I hope you're hanging in there, love. I know your fella is coming soon and that will be really good for you. It gets so lonely by yourself while waiting on the USCIS. I remember how awful the uncertainty was. I am so ready to start my new life. Just a few more months maybe. I wish I was coming to Rome. I really want to go there....like maybe next summer. I've been to Venice and Florence and passed Milan on the highway. Firenze was my favorite.

Oh Aleena---I think you're the first of our frequent posters to move, aren't you.? That just gives me butterflies. Wish we could toast you all together with real champagne and really clink our glasses together.

I hope you have a drama free trip and get some sleep on the plane. This makes me so ready for Nick to just move over. I told him I wanted to get married 08-08-08 and with the interview next Tuesday he should have the visa in time. He said "you're not even going home until the 7th." So he could just get on the plane with me and to h*ll with the job notice, packing stuff, etc. hahahaha. He's so practical and thought of the 3 day waiting period in Texas after obtaining the marriage license. BUT I'm so connected, I know 3 country judges who could sign the waiver on the spot and perform the ceremony. I went on dates with 2 of them in high school. rofl.gif Ahhh small towns....gotta love 'em. yes.gif

I've been quiet because I had to work Friday....all day even. Darn jobs! And I've been sick with a tummy thing. I started getting better late Sunday after I gave up my favorite things... Diet Coke and Cappuccino. Seems as though caffeine and milk products are a no-no, so I started sipping Peppermint Tea and eating crackers and Jell-O. That seems to have helped the violent pains. Now that I'm on the mend, I need to focus on my trip to the UK Friday.

Well it is very quiet around here. Did everybody go on holiday? John & Karen didn't even update their timeline yet and don't show up on Igor's List as approved.

I get sorta blah after I've had company because we run around and do so much...then nothing going on. <Sigh>

I do have a cat story. My elderly cat Muffin went to the veterinarian Friday and back Monday so they could finish up bloodwork, etc. She has an infection, some liver issues and needed IV for fluids. Well, she's such a grouchy kitty that they gave up on being able to do much with her. So I asked if there was anything I could do and now I have the IV bag, tubing, Ringer's Lactate, and a bunch of needles. It's a little crazy because I moved a floor lamp to hang the bag from and set up the home vet office on the sofa. On my first attempt, I managed to stick myself twice with the needle just trying to get it properly put on the tubing. OUCH. I have managed to get the job done twice now, but it isn't easy poking a growling cat with a needle and keeping her still. It's not like you can tape the needle down on her fur. It's actually pretty comical when you think about it, but I hope the hydrating helps her get the boost she needs. It's not going to be an ongoing thing, thank God.

Good luck to everybody still waiting and to those packing, too. heart.gif

I'm sure your late husband would be as well. smile.gif I do hope it all works out for you and that you are pleasantly surprised by the reactions that you receive. If not... oh well! wink.gif

Oh, I'm quite certain they will act happy, but I hope they won't feel like they're no longer part of my family. They're really the only ones I worry about. I think losing a child has to be the hardest. Like my oldest daughter observed, "Grandmother just never got it," meaning she never accepted that terminal diagnosis. I think the kids and I worked through it spread over the two years of illness. Grandmother always thought the next treatment would be a miracle and then he was gone and she was shocked and she didn't ever say everything she could have said. If any of you get in a situation where a loved one is terminally ill, don't feel like you have to be cheery and talk about the weather. Take the time to tell them how much they've meant to you and everything you appreciated about them. Cry with them instead of for them later, because it helps everybody. Just a life lesson I picked up and totally off-topic.

Glad you have the interview Ana. It's so much better when you have some concrete dates to go by. All that waiting and wondering starts eating away at your brain until you're a crazy person. People keep asking when I'm getting married and I say, I don't know, but it's different when you're marrying a foreigner...you just don't have control of the timeline.

We aren't going to plan anything and he's not telling anybody at work until the visa arrives in the passport and in his hands. I actually haven't even told my brother yet. He lives across the state and in Texas that can be a long way...in this case a 7 hour drive and that's only halfway across. hahahaha. Guess I need to call him and catch him up. Boy, will he be surprised! The other people I can't find the courage to tell is my in-laws, who live right here in my town. They are 90 years old and I know still grieve losing their son. I don't want to offend them by moving on with my life, and I'm so afraid they might feel hurt. I know they will think I'm moving on and excluding them because they're like that...have never wanted to seem like they are trouble or get in our way. I still want them over for Thanksgiving and Christmas just like always, and hope they will believe that and feel comfortable. It's odd, but I just don't have experience with second marriages. There's not one person with a second spouse in either of our families from grandparents, aunts, uncles, parents, siblings, children. That's pretty unusual, but this Christmas we are going to hang a new stocking on the mantle, God-willing, and I am so excited.

As for us, if by the time Michael is ready to leave here we haven't received anything, I'm going to ask him to cancel our petition and move here. I can't face wasting any more time. Our life here won't be easy (not going into detail... suffice it to say that it would be next to impossible for him to get a job, and he has to pay support to three children), but at least we will be together.

Highway Star: I'm really sorry you don't think it's going to work out for you. It sounds like you have other personal reasons why you think the petition will fail because the time frame so far just isn't out of the ordinary as I see it. Wish we could cheer you up, but we tried and failed. We seem to have lost Pandora too. And we still miss Erin alot. I hope you have a great visit with Michael and you two work out a plan for living in Italy. If giving up, rather than waiting for an imagined failure gives you peace of mind, then do what you have to do to be happy. Best of luck to you. heart.gif
