I on the other hand work full time in retail management and am saving my vacation days for when we have our WEDDING so that I can take off and play host to his family that will be flying in from Japan. I took three weeks off in April to be with him already anyway. We haven't received any touches or anything. I would rather have some touches than none at all. It makes me feel insanely paranoid that they've lost or forgotten our petition. The waiting is driving me crazy- at the very least they should at least let our fiance's come to visit us in the states while the status is pending- that would make the process much less stressful. Such as: "You're petition was received on XXXX date, and was sent to the embassy on XXXX date" Even though I obsessively call, I like having a hardcopy. Also, when it arrives at the Embassy, what next? Will my fiance be notified via snail mail?? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	AOS Help	So, it would be acceptable for my fiance to only present an Affidavit of Support from my co-sponsor (who does make enough to support all of us) and to not present one from me since I will not be technically contributing this time around if i still have no job by the time of interview? Sorry to clarify over and over, I just had everything figured out up until now and I've become very, very confused as to what to do. So it would be safe to just mail my fiance a signed statement about my job situation (stating I will find employment before applying for Adjustment of Status) and he could just attach that to the old Affidavit of Support that I gave him? I mailed him everything a few weeks ago so I just want to make sure I don't need to mail him a new Affidavit of Support with the employment stuff just saying unemployed (also with the statement). We've had a long wait just to get to NVC- so I don't want to do anything that will make our journey more delayed or any more difficult than it has to be. I waited over a week since I've experienced so much delay (I'm a little demoralized by now ). Aaaand. It was sent out on September 19! Two days! Bless you NVC! Philippines	CENOMAR	One of the choices is "others" and then you can specify and write it there what is the purpose. When I was there this afternoon to request for my birth certificate and Cenomar I just put in "others" fiancee visa. But I guess there is no problem with passport or travel choice. I think it doesn't matter. Releasing of Cenomar is after 5 working days. Releasing of Birth Certificate is after 2 hours. Philippines	Question Regarding I-129F and Expiration date of 2/29	USCIS will honor the still valid I-129F form that expires 2/29/2012. As long as you submit your petition by the 2/29/2012. I would not worry about it either USCIS will honor it even if it is expired. I have yet to read about a expired form that was rejected do to their forms being expired. Philippines	Question Regarding I-129F and Expiration date of 2/29	I am a few day from filing K1 Visa, I live about 15 minutes from the P.O. Box for mailing address. My question is: 1.) The form I-129F expires on 2/29/2012, should I roll d bones and go for it? I will hopefully get it the mail in a few day, like March 5th will be the latest. That way I can have Delivery Confirm. from USPS. 2.) Other option is to wait for the USCIS to publish new updated form, which could take forever and a day.
