Hi guys, Just been told by my USC fiancé that he got an email from the Bureau of Motor vehicles informing him that the INS ran a driver record check on him. Never heard anyone else mention this. Anyone else on here got experience of this? Just wondering what it means, although we're assuming it's just part of standard checks at initial review stage. Will our NOA2 letter give us new tracking information? Congratulations on your NOA2!!! We waited about a week after we got it then my fiancé called NVC and we were given out case number so that I could book my medical. We got our NVC case # but he plans to go to regular NHS Dr FIRST bc the immunizations he MIGHT need are possibly free at medical you have to pay. Did you guys get any more info from NVC yet? We haven't. We got our case number from NVC yesterday and were told that our case left for the consulate on 8th January. I called Knightsbridge today and requested my medical for that week. All you need for medical is police certificate and case number. I saw my doctor about the vaccines and they said they wouldn't do them on NHS and I would need to pay for them so just going to get them at the medical. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Vermont July Filers!	Lol so easy to get confused with this stuff. Your american fiance should get a hard copy of the NOA2 in the mail in the next few days. From my understanding he will be sending a packet to you with everything you need for the I-134 form. With that form you are to include a photocopy of the NOA2. In addition, with the packet you will send originals of all pertaining docs (his Birth Cert, Passport, etc also the original NOA2) See below for more info. I could be mistaken as I am only just getting into this...so please confirm before sending anything I copied this from another thread: 1. A copy of the entire I-129f package (that you made when you sent the petition in) and a copy of information that you sent back due to an RFE (if you received one). 2. Send all originals of the documentary proof that you submitted for the I-129F to your fiance(e) for their interview at the embassy. 3. Send an original letter affirming your desire to marry your fiance(e) and your continued support of the K-1 Visa. Sign and date the form. This will be similar to the letter you provided with the I-129F, but dated much closer to the interview (it will have most likely been several months since you submitted your I-129F). 4. I-134 Affidavit of Support form. Ensure it is signed, with all required supporting evidence. Begin collecting the required information ahead of time, as it can often take several weeks to collect it all. 5. You will likely need at a minimum (for the above form) two to three of your most recent pay stubs and a signed letter from your employer listing you job title, start date, your salary, and the status (full-time) of your position. Begin collecting these ASAP after your NOA2 arrives. You will also probably want to include other evidence such as your banking information and other assets as required by the I-134. Specifically you will need at least 2 of the 4 options mentioned in Section II-Supporting Evidence of the I-134. See this FAQ for more tips and ueful information on the Affidavit of Support Form. 6. A copy of the NOA2 that you received in the mail. 7. Proof of your ongoing relationship. This needs to be taken to the interview! Include photos, travel documents, emails, etc from between the time you filed and present (NOA1 date-now). Examples: Copies of land line and cell phone bills, appropriate emails and letters you have sent including the stamps on envelopes (to document the date they were sent), and other written documentary proof. Provide a reasonable amount; two to four of each type. Pick a range of dates up to and including the present. I'm self-employed too, so that adds even MORE fun to the mix lol I already ordered my tax report, which should take about 7-10 days and Andrew had his police report aleady ordered (we aren't too worried about prior records since he is a cop haha) All in all..our only next concern is getting a job for Andrew, since he won't be a citizen which sadly, rules out his current career. The rest is easy...copy of the NOA2, new letter of intent, I-134 form etc (I left #11 blank bc that is what ppl on VJ said) I'm leaving it up to Andrew to organize and put together more proof, since I organized most of it last time Ahhhhh I intend to send off for my police report this week. Hi guys just wanted to let you all know I arrived safely in the US yesterday and now I get to spend 2 weeks with my amazing fiance! Passing theough customs couldn't have been easier, i think I'm still in a state of shock! I had come armed with documents to show my intent to go home after my visit, I approached the guard who took my passport, he then asked me to put my hand on the scanner took my picture and stamped my passport! As he handed back my passport he asked why was I going to that particular town as there's nothing there and I said its where my fiance lives, he laughed and said he thought that was a good enough reason. He then asked me what food Scotland was famous for and this resulted in a 2 minute conversation about exactly what goes into haggis!! He then wished me a happy thanksgiving and a safe onward journey!! Can't believe I wasn't asked anything until after I had my passport back and then the 2 things he asks are a bit random! All is well....gas is INSANE...lines miles long. I finally got power back today...it's been really crazy esp with the temp dropping to 30 at night. Everyone I know is safe though! My power was delayed bc of an endangered species of owl in a tree they needed to knock down. Had them scratching their heads for a couple of days trying to figure out what to do with the little guy. lol Anyway...hope everyone on here is well and distracting themselves during the wait! Glad you guys are safe and that you got to spend extra time together. How did Andrews arrival go? I fly out to see my fiancé in 2 weeks and getting a bit nervous about the whole being let in thing. Have never been, but would love to see it! It was getting really hard hearing people talk about how difficult the 3 month CSC wait is when we most likely won't even be touched until 2013! Not that begrudge them their fabulous timelines. I just think it will be easier, perhaps..on the VSC people if we have a space to chat together and not feel SO terribly left behind! I live just outside Glasgow. I know what you mean. I'm happy that CSC July filers are getting approved but its really hard to see it when we know we've still got a long way to go. Do you have to take two separate trips to London, one for the medical, and one for the interview, or is it possible to somehow combine the visit? I realise the answer is probably yes, you have to take two separate visits.. But it's worth checking, since I'd have to fly or get a train from Edinburgh Just another expense in the never-ending list of visa expenses, I guess! You have to travel down twice.
