Something interesting. . .
I did the RFE trick (for which I initially got yelled at). .. . she asked me if there was a problem and I told her I didn't know, I was trying to find out. . . she took my info, typed into her magic computer and said. . . you should hear something in two to four weeks at the most. . . now after being yelled at because "this isn't a status update line" I was scared to ask anything else. . .now I am confused. . .curiosity seriously did kill the cat. . . that's all I'm saying. . .

No word on my file, no touches, emails.. zilch! My partner (he's actually from Australia) is getting very impatient.. We live in England atm and are wanting to move back to Texas where all of my family are, get married have the white picket fence.. 2.5 kids.. you know the story..! Although, we've been living half of that dream for the past four years now!

It's nice to see that some October filers are receiving approvals well before the max 6 months tho! Especially ones who have filed with Vermont SC.. woo hoo!! What made those go faster than others though? I know every situation is different, but to those who did get approved within 3-4 months - what helped that?!

Anyway.. Having come on here has helped put my mind at ease a little bit at least.. mainly because I do see progress for other people, it at least gives me a bit of hope that perhaps tomorrow i can open my email up (maybe not though as today is MLK day!!) and find that we've been approved onto the next level!!

We shall see..

Welcome, Halle. Word on the street (lol) is that someone at the USCIS opened the wrong box and started processing October's instead of continuing on with June and July. This is just rumor, of course, and good luck getting anyone at the USCIS to admit to it.

I know the feelings your fiance is having. I have them every day, all day. I check the USCIS website about 15 times a day- I KNOW what he's going thru.

Good luck on your petition- on all of our petitions.

I used to check our emails a lot of times a day and today i woke up wit my honey calling me he got a notice on email that were approved! THANKS GOD..i screamed out. Its an undescribable feeling, so blessed for NO RFE's either as we fear that coz we dont have a separate Letter of Intent to Marry, My fiancee just write it for both of us..which is BIG THANKS TO THAT! We were only touched once since our NOA1,..and that is October 18...NO touches...no news....Nothing until today that were just surprise of the news good.gif ...So to all you guys out there..DON'T WORRY about the touches, it may or may not be touched often just like others...but APPROVAL NOTICE will just surprise you one day just like we had....So now will be preparing again for the next step....More research againnnnnn!!!

GOODLUCK to all and praying for a speedy approvals for all. YOUR all next in line....GODBLESS and many thanks for all the emotional support and helpful infos....VJ Rulesss!!!! Pretty soon were all be reunited to our love ones and never be separated again......

Our date has pushed back out to March 27th and I think by Friday it's going to be April. I don't understand why CSC isn't pushing anything through. . . it makes no sense, holidays are over and everything should be full speed ahead at both service centers. . . but it goes back to my theory on CSC they are letting everything pile up and then gonna hit tons of people with approvals. . .
