VSC is working well the last 2 days. Things are picking up quite well. I was hoping for maybe a touch next week, but I got it today. I was very surprised to say the least. We finally have our NOA2. I see that they are moving very fast now and soon maybe things will not be soo difficult on each of the couples, because the time between is difficult to endure. Both of the centers are saying that. I hate that they put a specific number, it seems like they go faster if there isn't a specific date attached to their work and btw, how do they figure what date they are working on? Are they all picking from the top of the pile or do they get boxes. . . I've been wondering that for a while. . .

I am passing my time by trying to plan the cheapest but elegant wedding ever... its frustrating enough that its extremely time consuming. It doesn't take my mind off the fact that I am lonely and extremely frustrated with this entire process, but it does remind me that end result is well worth it.


My friend got ordained over the internet and is going to marry us, then we are going out to eat as our wedding. The process is frustrating. . . and I concur the end result is well worth it.

Mine was pushed back one day. I have been lurking in some of the earlier filers' threads and they are saying that lots of workers are taking personal time off for the holiday. This could be why everything seems to be pushed back. . . but really I have no clue.

I have started working out myself. I walk with some of my work friends. We all get to blow off steam from work (we're teachers) and I don't have to complain to my sweetie about every little bad thing that happened during the day, but i still usually end up telling him.

I just moved into our apartment a few months ago. We actually decorated it together. . well, via internet. . . the sad thing is that Keeb's side of the closet is virtually empty. . .

On a complete whim I decided to call customer service. Could not get through to CSC, so against all better judgement just let myself fall through to the main customer support line. Got a *really* nice lady who was so polite and cheery that I was completely amazed. She even noted that I had an I-129F, and congratulated me on my engagement, and said I must be very excited. She looked my file up, looked into what CSC was doing, and then quoted me the standard "CSC are working on July 19 filers line." So then I mentioned I was part of an internet community of filers and had seen a lot of August filers being approved, and even a single October filer. And it was like a completely different person with her voice got on the phone. She immediately went stone cold on me, and said "Sir, nobody jumps ahead of the line. All files are processed strictly in order." So I said that I understood it, and that I was just calling to see if maybe we were a little further along than July 19. And again she cut me off right in the middle of my sentence and repeated the "Sir, nobody jumps..." line. It was just surreal, and completely took me by surprise. One second we're having a really nice conversation, then the next she's completely shutting me down. So I just decided it wasn't worth arguing over, thanked her for her time, and hung up.

I've honestly never noticed. . . I have had my passport since 2000 so I pay little attention to the stuff about myself. .. i like to look at the stamps though (i know i'm strange).

I didn't figure it would be a problem, I just like to be prepared. I was thinking about it this morning. . .I've been living at this address since Sept and haven't changed anything. .. everything still goes to my parents' house. . .

I know my question seems so nit-picky but I don't go to Honduras without everything that I need to make sure we have no problems especially something that can be fixed easily. . .

if it matters that my passport and driver's liscense doesn't match my filing address (I moved right before we filed) I know that changing the passport will be more difficult than the liscense but does it matter? I can always provide proof in other ways if they question my address . . .
