Philippines	How much pasalubong/gifts that you bring for your family?	when i went out in september I brought 4 suitcases with me including carry on .......I only came back with 1....lol.... I left the others there for her to pack when she is comming here......I brought everything from candy,spam,sardines, oysters,clothes,hats, perfumes,soap, lotions, and more ......honestly besides the clothes I got most of everything else at a couple of dollar stores...I spent about 100.00 and it filled up 2 large suit cases also got toys there for all the nieces and nephews ...... trust me it was well worth it!!!! also makeup for the sisters and aunts ...same thing go to different dollar stores and you can load uop and save alot!!!!	charlie&pam	Male	Philippines	2009-12-08 11:24:00

When i called the USCIS they said just see what the CSC does with it. If they deny my petition, i can get it reopened for free since i am military. We will see..Hopefully they will receive the evidence by the monday after xmas and then i will call and expedite it again. At least you are one step closer and I am happy for you both. With u serving our country ( i say you are protecting me) u should get better treatment then the rest of us!!!!!.....Thanks for asking about the move I am getting the keys this week !!!!!....it is an older house than I am in now but 200 hundred cheaper a month more land and will have a pool now!!!....plus the owner pays for the landscaping, pest control ....and weekly pool services so I am happy !!!!....plus I have 2 weeks between both places to move so less stressfull!!!! Philippines	just got the approval!!!!	I just got the email last night that the petition was approved!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you everyone so much for all your help and putting up with all my silly questions durring the application process!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now the 2nd part of the journey!!!!! So do I have to wait to get the letter in the mail to set up the medical ? I know I should wait a week to call for the interview right? I know Pam has all the paperwork ready except for the last thing i need to send her like paystubs and stuff like that current chat logs ....western union receipts stuff like that but is there anything else I need to do? Philippines	what is the purpose of the NVC?????	12-24-09 NVC recieved approval!!!!! 01-05-10 NVC told me under Aditional Processing!!!!! Cases go to the NVC before they get passed onto the Embassies, takes about 5-14 working days to get thru that, it should tell you this in your letter. With the Holidays kicking in, they could be a few days behind. Be Patient. After 2 weeks and you hear nothing, then call and bug them. Here's mine: NVC Received : 2009-07-17 NVC Left : 2009-08-04 ok .....I was and am scared because of others that got to the NVC after me are already tracking it to the embassy !!!! Expect a month or so and if you were recently divorced expect a call from someone looking for your ex (NVC) what!!!!! really????? my divorce was finalized in june!!!!! Philippines	what is the purpose of the NVC?????	Just to give you some more stress I think they do some background checks there....I am unclear of what they do too. What all did you have to send to them? I have read that original certificates with the DS-230 (marriage, birth, police clearances, divorce decrees). Of course some of these we sent and had to send originals to the USCIS or CSC...whatever you want to call it.
