Where does my CR-1 Get filed?

I did get my noa1 IT said Poutsmouth.

also They sent me the noa1 with the wrong spelling of my wifes name. I called uscis and they said they will send me a letter on that.. But i havent recieved it .. its been 1 month already.

I live in california but the person who sent it out for me lives in colorado?

So does it get sent out to California or texas I certainly hope not vermont.

I looked and I couldnt even get the drop down box for california.. only vermont and texas.. maybe california stopped taking applications.

I don't know what a "visa number" is.
And I don't know why people say K1s are faster.
They're AROUND the same time frame.
Your buddy isn't giving you the whole story so don't take any value in it.

Acsually i lied.. he didnt say 4 months.. but he said i should of applied for k1 because its faster.. and i toldhim yes it is faster.. but only by a few months.. not a year.. He just said they got aproved for the i130 fast but waiting for the visa number takes over a year..

The whole process.
Filing to receipt of visa.

Additional processing or administrative processing.
They keep your stuff and do more research on it.

Then what are you talking about that takes more than a year? YOu said in your first post?

Typical timeline is 8-10 months.
You don't know if they're in AP.

8-10 months for the whole step or 8-10 months after the 130 approval to the visa stamp?

Well if you get approved 4 months or close to that.. To get your visa stamped.. it takes well over a year?

I thought the regular was.. 5-6 months for the noa2 then like 3months for the nvc and interview then 1week to a month for the visa stamp so you can travel?

Now i understand the situation is diffrent for everyone. Also I looked at the graphs and stuff and i dont understand it.

I got scared caus ethis one guy that works at my work.. He has some philipino friends trying to brng there wifes and there us citizens . He said after he waited 4 months to get approved for the i130 they said they have been waiting 2years for the visa number... I was like ####### is he talkin about.. I heard its like only a few months through nvc then to interview.. granted you have no problems...But then this other person that i know that shes trying to bring back her mom from mexico.. who has enter illegaly but got caught.. but has no record from the fbi just a volentary leave. back in feb.. she got her 1130 approvval in may .. then her laywer forgot to send the nvc check in.. because he was moving offices in another state.. so as of now she paid the fee and shes going throu the nvc. The hispanic girl told me thre is no visa number.. hes talking about the A number and she said you get it right on the paper after the i130 approval? Is there that much of a time diffrence between processing for philipines and mexico?

Whats the point of coming here, asking questions and then not following everyone's advice and doing your own thing ? this seems to be a tend with all your posts.
Just do your own thing and dont bother asking in the first place!

I do follow peoples advice.. My question was to clarify if this is still in use and if anybody has tried this before. Its worth trying. Its free and doesnt cost extra money..

Your telling me what to do by telling me dont ask in the first place. If you got no answers to my question and just reply to my topics with nonsense then do you own thing and fall back.

There are also many people who have done nothing and still got approved in less than three months, and others who have done the same thing as you and are STILL waiting for months. There is no rhyme or rhythm to this process. Telling people that filing a I-129f will ensure them a faster approval IS spreading false information. Don't do it, please.

No, that's incorrect. The fact that your I-130 was approved after sending an I-129F is a coincidence. There are hundreds of other cases who have filed both and have been waiting for months and months. Please don't spread false information.

Im not spreading false information.. Im just telling it how it is. Thats my thought..

SO far me and Gomon and some other people sent a 129f witht here I130 and we got approved less then 3 months... (mine in a monthe and a half)

I got my I130 approved a little over a month..

I sent a I129F

So im guessing if yo send a I129F after your I130 they approve it faster.. Also som others that got approved within a month sent a I129F so if you put two and two together.. it makes sense

I figure the uscis gets the I130 then puts it in a cabinet.. then later you send a 129f they need to go to your i130 to check so they probobly pull it out of the cabinet. Then the uscis guys probobly like.. man since i already got his i129f in my hand and his i130 i might as well check on his case now cause i dont want to have to refile the papers in order back in the cabinet.. So since he alreayd has it in his hand he probobly works on it real fast.

I know it sound bogus but thats my thought

it asks name the person who will come with you on a later date.

My wife has a daugther and we want to petition her later like after 1 year .. Do i put her name in that box?

Cause rapid visa said leave that one none. because they are not being petitioned now.

but then again on 31a it asks you name the person who is comming with you now.. so i know i leave that none

Maybe you should look at the guides again both in VJ and on USCIS sites, its very clear where to mail your stuff.

When your I-130 petition is finally approved, the service center that processed your petition, will send you another Notice of Action letter indicating your approval, and the forwarding of your approved petition to the National Visa Center (NVC) in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, along with a phone number to contact the NVC with. Your case will now only be dealt with by the NVC. The service center that you filed with, will have no more knowledge on the status of your petition or case.

Im asking do you need to send the ds3032 the establish communication with agent the paper.. do you need to mail it or can you sign it and send a scanned copy through email so you dont have to mail it in.

I just have no idea and no clue what the nvc ds230 app will accept for the police clearance if you lived in denmark for 5 years.. Also does it have to be in the married name now or single name because my wife was not married when she lived there in denmark..

Also she lived in cebu and diffrent parts of the philipines so all she needs is an NBI clearance right for the ds230 and not the police clearance cause she cant travel to all the police stations around the philipines
