It's a real rough case we are going through. We started back in june 2005 and still not done with the case. Emotional it makes us to nervous wrecks and need an answer very soon. I was hoping for good news before christmas, but realize that this have to be today. We haven't seen eachother since last christmas here in Denmark. For the same reason my american fiance and I are seperated and now for 2 years. I am from Denmark Europe and all our hardship letters tells how much it would affect everything if he has to live here instead. Recently I realized that they don't even look at our feelings being seperated. They only look at his hardship to leave everything in us. Danish is a very hard language to learn especially for a man at 47 year. And here he would have to learn danish before he could get a job. That's a thing we are using alot to mention in our hardship letters. Also we have hired an immigrant lawyer to help us. He knows all the tricks I can tell. This topic is right above your topic Included form I-601 you need to get alot of Exstreme hardship letters. This topic you can also see above you How do I prove Exstreme Hardship If he need this waiver I recommend you to get a lawyers help. It's very importent that those papers and hardship letters are well written. This step is an appeal and very uncertain for you to know if it will be approved. I am in the same situation and finish with those papers. Now waiting for their decision. You are very welcome to ask me questions if any doubt. I don't know from Canada but processing time in London is between 8 and 15 weeks from they recieved the papers. I have waited 7 weeks today. That's the reason I didn't think about that they needed this. After I sended this record to them they denied the visa and sended me the package with I-601 form. So I guess that they will give him this in hand at this interview I told Mike yesterday that you were in doubt about how he is able to visit you. And he told me that for sure he can because he don't need a passport to go anyway. I wish I lived in Canada and had this possibility. I am still not sure if he gotta fill out this form I-601 In my eyes his conviction are not too criminal. Mine is worser. Mike and I don't have any kids together and too old to even thinking about it. Our ties is that we need to be together because we love eachother. The worse hardship we can tell about is that Mike can't leave his country because of having a son and not the full custody. She would never agree with this moving. Even worser is that Mike would be treated lower in my country because he would have to leave a very good job and the barrier to learn my language would keep him away from having the same job here in Denmark Also he would not have enough years to work here to save up to be retired. I am now under pending at the list. My problem is that for 13 years ago I was convicted and now CIMT. My concerns now is that I don't have any clue if I will be rejected or approved and don't know how to think about my coming future with my american fiance. Will I ever have any chance to be with him.
