CanadaI eat whale blubber and club baby seals...
I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!! crying.gif

I have Canadian flags all over my purse...I've had many people compliment.

Also, it's funny...Nick and I always see Canadian stuff here....driving, we see Ontario license plates...we were in a restaurant and the guy sitting across from us had a "Canada" shirt on. The woman that married us, on her main page had a couple getting married and the groom was dressed as a Mounty. Little things like that always make us smile.

The best thing I got was just recently, I went to get a pedicure and the girl and I were casually chatting and I told her I was Canadian. She then said "woah, how come you are speaking English then?

blink.gif

I said..."because Canadians speak English. Some of us speak French."

She then said "So Canada is like it's own country then....?"

I just smiled and nodded.

laughing.gif Obviously not the brightest person. Really we don't learn alot about other countries in school maybe this is part of the problem?

She wasn't even an American so how could she not understand about different countries?!??!
I think she was here illegally cause she said her Dad came here from like Guatemala and brought her when she was like 2 and recently they took away his SSN! She said she has been stuck in the system for years and has no legal rights here.

Who knows!

Not sure what theme to do the kitchen in just yet...Tuscany maybe.

At Lowe's we have a whole section for Tinkerbell stuff!!! Curtain rods, AMAZING wallpaper, paint to match, little girly things. It makes me want to have a baby!!!

Tuscany for the kitchen...you will be in heaven!!!

They received my RFE on Tuesday and I've noticed touches on the AOS for the last 3 days. Today, the site indicated that it has been transferred to CSC.

My EAD has only been touched once and that was either because the RFE had been received or the bio was received or maybe both. Who knows with government ppl? whistling.gif

You should see touches happening once your bio reaches them, I would think. I hope so!!

Well you are right BH...
I was touched today for both my AOS and EAD because of my Biometrics and they finally updated my AOS saying they sent me an RFE requesting further evidence.
My RFE arrived there on Tuesday.
I hope they update it soon! smile.gif

Well...
Mailed back the RFE on Saturday. It was delivered there on Tuesday and nothing has even been updated or touched on USCIS.gov.
It doesn't even show that I had an RFE, that's why I didn't know until I got the actual paper in the mail.

Make sure honey!!! everyone needs a pass to do stuff at the park ..
its only 25 dollars and it saves ur spot its actualy for parties of 20 people and less i got mine because the park rangers are so annoying. ...
if u go into the central park webpage it says that u will need it .. It saves you the spot for 2 hours =)

Thats what I did i had 10 people with me good.gif

I'm sure, I checked the website as well:
Information on Wedding Ceremonies
Elsewhere in Central Park

Other popular places include The Pond, Cherry Hill, Bow Bridge, Shakespeare Garden, East Green, Cedar Hill, the Mall, Hernshead, 100th Street Pool, and Harlem Meer. For permits for these and other areas of Central Park (required only for parties of 20 people or more) there is a fee of $25. For information, please call the Special Events & Permits Office of the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation at 212-408-0226. Or visit their website: www.nyc.gov/parks

We are getting married at 11am and our ceremony is about 10 minutes. The minister says she's done dozens there and if people are in there she kindly asks them to leave and most people are very accommodating.

Thanks for thinking of me though.

No, we are having my best friend Shelby as my MOH and his best friend Jason as our best man.
That's it.

We will be having a party in September when my family is able to come down. It wouldn't exactly be fair that all his family gets to see us married and none of mine do, would it?

Ladies Pavillion (my personal favourite)

Thank you to everyone who has wished us well on Saturday too over on Laura & Nick's page (sorry Laura but thanks for sharing)

We are not having anything as beautiful as Laura. Just a few friends from Indiana and Michigan going with us to the courthouse for the ceremony.

We did the big sh-bang in my home town of Cochrane at the end of June in the church. My family and friends were there. If things would have worked out as orginally thought, we would have had our legal wedding here in February and then the church wedding in June. So it's backwards but it still works and was still very special.

Once I get my pictures from both weddings tongue.gif , I'll post some here for all to see.

Guess what?

Your wedding day will be JUST as beautiful as mine! You are getting married to the your one true love!! That is so beautiful within itself. I wish you happiness. I wish you peace. I wish you hope and faith and love for all of your days together.
