But the online date that says you have 3 weeks to mail xx date was never accurate. Basically EI was always 1 month behind what the real date was. So if it was Sept 27th, I'd be getting a payment for August 9th and 16th. I live in an apartment. They always mailed them out as Texanadian 60-2500 Main St. . . . It never showed up as 2500 Main St, Apt 60. I would however write "Canada" on the bottom of their reply envelope every time. As I'm not sure if the US postal system knows where Belleville, ON is. Canada	The Canuck EI Thread	Well, that was...awkward. Got a call this morning from Belleville. Very serious and stern lady on the phone. I told her I haven't received 2 reports and she verified my address. She then asked if my mail was "secure" and I said yes, it's a locked box. She said she'd write down that "obviously we have a problem with mail getting to you" kind of rudely, like it's my fault! She then was like "Well, I guess I'll take the information over the phone...." sigh. It's your job, do it!! anyway Asked me the 5 questions then asked where I have been looking for work!! DOH! I haven't been looking! Who the heck is going to hire me for a month! I don't have a SSN! This is all so stupid. So I bullshitted my way out of it...."Ummm Lowe's and uhhhhh some other retailers and uhhhhh". Snotty Lady: "Have you written down a list of the employers and how you contacted them"? Me: "No, is that something I should be doing?" Snotty Lady: "Yes, that's something you agreed to in the terms and conditions, do it from now on". Me: "Okay". Whatever. They should just give us the money for a certain period without asking if we went to school or worked or whatever. They know we are here on a K1 visa which doesn't allow us to work but does...we payed into EI anyhow just dish it out until we get jobs. LOL I totally lied to them and they are still giving me money. It says on the website they are waiting for the one they sent me for the weeks of the 17th to the 29th of August...I have not gotten this report. The only thing I was confused about was it asked for specific dates of weeks I made under $225.00...my last employer (Before Lowe's) I made under that pretty much every week so...I just left it blank... I'll mail in my ROE, copy of my passport and I-194 thingy in it. I'm still waiting on my ROE from Lowe's so I'll mail that in when I get it. I hope I get approved, if not...no biggie. Canada	The Canuck EI Thread	OK.. I'm an EI virgin and really had no idea about any of this (Flames, you suck) anyway! LOL So...My last day of work is Friday....I have my ROE from my last job that I worked at (about 7 months ago) and I talked to my HR dept and my HR manager is going to have my ROE ready for me before I move on the 19th. I move exactly 1 week after my last official day. I'll be filing probably Monday the 21st once I get to the U.S. What if I don't get the EAD stamp at the POE? Can I fax in all the documents needed like my ROE, bank statements (do I need those), pay stubs, etc. or should I be snail mailing it all. Also, do I need to send in a copy of my marriage license? What are these cards everyone is talking about...mailing in cards, getting cards...#######, confusion overload. Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	I changed my address....	When we move, we have to be careful to file both the AR-11 and the I-865 in timely, complete fashion. Simply changing our address with the Post Office ain't enough. Hi Hon! Long time no chat!!! I hope that I'll be ok. I'm going to just fill out the the AR-11 and 1-865 and also include a letter in my package when I file my ROC this weekend...(I've been so busy with work, I am off tomorrow, it's time to buckle down!!!) Thankfully I had my mail forwarded. We moved into our house back in September and at the time I changed my address online. I just went and changed it again.......Has anyone had any issues with this? If I want to use a courier service (such as FedEx or UPS) to send the package, do I send it to the PO Box address listed on the I-751 instructions (USCIS California Service Center, P.O. Box 10751, Laguna Niguel, CA 92607-1075) OR is there a physical address that must be used? Thanks in advance for your help! So I mailed off my I751 last week (priority, delivery confirmation and all), I was already behind in mailing it (one month) and my package still has not been delivered....my green card expires July 7th.. My package still shows that it's on it's way to it's destination. I have called usps twice, once on Thursday and the guy said that someone would look into it for me, he gave me a confirmation number and said I would be called back in 2 business days, that never happened. So I just called now and at first the woman said that it's showing that it's being verified by a 3rd party or something......so I started getting very upset saying "Uh this is my entire life!!!" and so she put an express urgent note on it and said I would be getting a call within 1 business day as to the whereabouts of my package, she also flagged it as extremely important....I then asked her again where my package was and she said at this point she doesn't know.....and I asked her about the third party thing and she said she never said that......what?!? am I imagining things??? I am FREAKING here, what the hell do I do? Do I put together a whole new package and mail that off? I mean, this is unreal!!!! Should I contact someone at USCIS... We had a large amount of evidence and supporting documents in our file, we didn't feel it was necessary. Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	May 2011 Filers	I remember that during AOS some VJ members also could not see their case online. Yeah, I'm not too stressed about it, I know they have my petition, they cashed my check and I've had my bio appointment. Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	May 2011 Filers	Out of curiosity, when I entered my case number provided by the biometric appointment letter on the USCIS My Case Status, it shows ---- "On June 1, 2011, we received this CRI89 PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED, and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on this notice. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or contact our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283..." I clearly remember that I used form I-751. ICRI89, is it another term they use for PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS? Please advise. Thanks!
