Try being one of the people still waiting from like 7 months ago. Be patient...nothing is ever secure in this...just because others have gotten theirs quickly, doesn't mean you will. It's like you are on hold, like your life is on hold while you wait through a sea of other people waiting to be with their loved ones as well. I could talk about how the time line, although frustrating at times has given people some sort of clue as to when the waiting will end. I could go on about how connecting with people online going through the same process has been an enormous source of comfort for me. I could encourage you and tell you that you are not alone but clearly as you've stated, those words don't help you. So I will simply say that I wish you the best in your journey, no matter how short or long it may be and I hope that you and the woman you fell in love with will be very happy for the rest of your lives. I want to know where my petition is...what's happening with it....when I'll approximately be reunited with Nick and we will finally be able to start our lives together. No more going home because home will be where he is. I guess I learned all the abbreviations and the ins and outs of the process because if I just sat back and didn't know what was going on or what anything meant, I'd feel like I was in a black hole...never knowing when I'll be brought into the light. I'm sorry you are having a hard time with this...it must be so hard to be that far away from the one you love....but please keep hope...you will be together soon...just think of how wonderful that will be. As I told you in one of your other threads...your fiance should have filed at either Vermont or California based on where they live in the U.S. Nebraska no longer processes K1 visas. Perhaps you should direct your fiance to VJ so that they can get a better idea of what is going on with your petition. Click here to see which center your petition should have gone to. They have worked their way through most of the bulk...it seems they are pretty much on track now.
